Student's understading of the issue Nazism ideology on the secondary school

The aim of the diploma thesis is the understanding of Nazi ideology in the context of the political science by second degree students of primary school. In the theoretical part is analyzed concept of political science curriculum in the curriculum of civics educational area of Human and society RVP ZV with focusing on the theme - Nazi ideology. There are explained basic concepts of this issue - curriculum, framework educational program, political education and ideology and their types. You will also find current communication research, which dealing with the evolution of the political thinking of second degree students of primary school. In the practical part of this work is working with selected group of students, so that can diagnose (based on own investigation) how these students understand the problems of ideology focusing on Nazism. The selected group consists of students of the ninth grade of primary school. Comparison of contemporary Czech and Spanish kindergarten

This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of contemporary Czech and Spanish kindergarten, specifically their educational aims, curricula, and other particularities. Thesis consists of two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explains methods used in the thesis and describes legislative of preschool education in Czech Republic and in the Kingdom of Spain. Furthermore, it is focused on the levels of education systems, the schedules of the day and the teaching stuff in kindergartens. Practical part contains direct comparison of curricular documents and particularities of Czech and Spanish kindergartens, which were found based on the questionnaire responses of Spanish kindergarten teachers. Finally, according to this comparison, the differences in the conception of a child are also presented. The thesis includes translation of the curricular document, according to which each autonomous community of Spain creates its own specific curriculum. Respecting needs of preschool children in nursery schools operating under different curricula

The Thesis is devoted to the comparison of respecting children needs in Czech nursery schools and British nursery schools in the Czech Republic. It is concerned with the Czech statutory framework called Rámcový vzdělávací program pro předškolní vzdělávání and the British document called the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage. Using content analysis the work examines both the documents and determines their approaches to satisfy needs of children. The second part of the research, conducted through observation, is figuring out how needs according to the Maslow A. are met in the practise of these nurseries. The content analysis and observation is used to discern whether the practise of the nurseries corresponds with their educational program in the area of satisfying children needs.

The case study analyses the art education content of selected teachers through the school year in context of actual curriculum. The lesson plans are going to be compared with the actual realizations of students, with respect to the expected (art) competencies of themselves. How do the teachers deal with the curriculum and content in art education? The thesis explores that question per interviews with the teachers, document analyses and gathered reflections. It examines the way of dealing with pedagogical content, its transformation into concrete tasks, teacher's reflection and appreciation of the student works. Inspirational resources of the particular teachers are going to be also covered in this study. The contemporary researches of Art education with emphasis on the pedagogical content are going to be the theoretical basis of processing the case study. Approaches of three teachers to the same subject matter

The thesis is focused on comparison of three teachers' approaches to the same subject matter in the area of curriculum, differentiation and high expectations. There are analysed topics in question it the theoretical part. The chapter about curriculum contains information about setting curriculum, where is it set, which role does the teacher play in setting curriculum and how he/she chooses the curriculum. We can find there also information about what types of curriculum and approaches to it do exist. The chapter about high expectations explains the term self-fulfilling prophecy and also the way how it is created and how it can be changed. The topic of the last chapter is differentiation, where there are types of differentiation and way of working with pupil according to their needs. There are concisely described two groups of pupils, pupils with special needs and gifted pupils. The approaches of three teachers are based on recordings and interviews. The results of this study give us information about, how the teachers work with textbook materials and what is their approach to chosen unusual topic. The results also tell us, if the teachers are differentiating and if we can observe different behaviour to various pupils. This thesis deals with Problem-Based Learning (PBL), which is almost unknown in the Czech Republic, and its application in the undergraduate course of occupational therapy. This method is widely used abroad particularly in the medical education and education of other paramedical professions. More traditional way of teaching is maintained in the Faculty of Medicine in the Czech Republic. A large amount of information from various scientific and clinical disciplines that student cannot simply connect in logical context is taught in the traditional courses. Problem-Based Learning is a method that may compensate some needs of the traditional teaching. This thesis introduces PBL and shows examples of its application in teaching occupational therapy abroad. The aim of this thesis is to determine the factors obstructing or facilitating the use of Problem-Based Learning method in the Czech Republic within the undergraduate occupational therapy curriculum, to determine the possibility of application of this method in teaching, to formulate recommendations for the implementation of PBL and to develop design of syllabus using PBL. The thesis deals with undergraduate training of kindergarten teachers. The aim is to compare the issue of preparation for the profession of kindergarten teacher from different perspectives in historical and international comparisons and reflect and analyze the needs of the profession towards initial training kindergarten teachers on the basis of theoretical concepts and statements from practice. The reaserch aims to analyze the curriculum of initial training kindergarten teachers at selected faculties of education in the Czech Republic, analyze and reflect on meeting the needs of the profession in these faculties and learn how to evaluate their students' level of development of their professional competence at the beginning of undergraduate training and at the end. Research design is a multi-case study. Working with reaserch respondents has a longitudinal character. The Science in Intended Curriculum and Framework Documents in Selected Countries

The main aim of this study is to enrich the discourse on developing an intended form of the science curriculum in different country contexts. A multi-case study research design uses methods of content and comparative analysis to find answers to the research questions. The empirical part of the thesis consists of single case studies of England, Finland, Scotland and the United States of America containing contexts of the current curriculum development, description and interpretation of analysed structural and content phenomena in the curriculum of primary (ISCED 1) and secondary education (ISCED 2). Based on the single case studies of curricula, a comparative multi-case study is conducted, which focuses on the identification and interpretation of common and different features in the structure and content of the curricula to be compared. The studied documents can be divided into competency- oriented and subject-oriented curricula, nevertheless, each curriculum contains elements of both approaches. The subject content of the contemporary curricula seems to be more elaborated or at least more detailed than in documents of the previous decade. Relationship of the secondary schools of pedagogy students to biological curriculum

This diploma thesis deals with the relationship of the secondary schools of pedagogy students to the subject of biology and its particular areas. The diploma thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical section. The theoretical section surveys the teaching of biology at the secondary schools of teaching based on the Framework educational program for the specialization in preschool and extracurricular pedagogy and pedagogical lyceum and based on the scholastic educational programs of the schools involved in the research. Further, this section also deals with the teaching of biology based on the Framework educational program for preschool education and based on the scholastic educational programs of kindergarten, afterschools and extracurricular facilities. The practical sections deals with the relationship of the secondary schools of pedagogy students to the subject of biology. This is done by using a questionnaire in which the students evaluate their relationship and readiness within their specialization for the practice with respect to biology as a whole on one hand and with respect to its particular areas on the other hand.
