Effect of verdikt D.H. and others against Czech republic on change of educational law and educational practice

The diploma deals with an analytic evaluation of The European Court of Human Rights adjudication in the matter of D.H. and others versus the Czech Republic. The aim is to ascertain how this verdict has influenced school legislation and the educational practice. The research focuses on discovering whether the Czech Republic has been fulfilling the obligations established by the European Court, and mapping the consequences of the verdict on the practices of the involved parties, which are practical schools, school consultency facilities and the Czech School Inspectorate. The result is a comprehensive description of the steps which the government has made towards eliminating discrimination of Romany pupils in the education system. Based on the foundings, it can be stated that in the upcoming future there should not be any occurences of discrimination of pupils being put to practical schools.
Education of children from socially disadvantaged environments in nursery schools in Klatovy region

The diploma thesis deals with the problematic of education of children with socially disadvantage in nursery schools. The theoretical part elaborates the definition of the social disadvantage, its reasons and types. The text also deals with the social exclusion and the economical and demographical situation in Klatovy region. There thesis mentions also the laws and regulations relating to the children with special educational needs. The theoretical part deals with the possibilities of the support for the children with social disadvantage. I focused also on the institutions and organizations that can help the teachers as well as the families to solve different life situations. The research part focuses on teachers and assistant directors of the nursery schools in Klatovy region who meet and educate children with social disadvantage in the nursery schools. The Homeless Person with a Dog as in Alternative Family Unit

This thesis approaches the question of homelessness in the Czech Republic, focusing specifically on homeless people with dogs who together form an alternative family unit. The purpose of this thesis is to map and present comprehensively viewed information and specifics relating to the group. The thesis aims to inspire the reader to ponder on the discussed issue, that is to be aware that this family unit requires to be approached as a whole, and not as two separate components - a homeless person and a dog. The first part of the thesis defines the theoretical aspect of the question in discussion, based primarily on academic literature sources, but also on sources from the internet which reflect on the focus of the research. Then follows a practical part where a questionnaire is conducted with homeless people with dogs, where the main research question was what the obstacles are preventing this group from living a fulfilling life. Interviews were also conducted with selected people who have been working with homeless people with dogs for a long time. Using both of these research tools, an overall result was achieved. The process of integrating socially disadvantaged children into the kindergarten environment

I create a diploma thesis with a combination of quantitative and qualitative research, which examines the process of integrating children into the environment of kindergartens. In this work, I comprehensively find out how the kindergarten team participates in the process of inclusion of socially disadvantaged children. In the theoretical part I characterize social pedagogy and groups of socially disadvantaged children, including the legislative definition. I mention documents relating to pre-school education and mention counseling services that serve teachers, parents and children in the field of social disadvantage. I divide the practical part into two phases of research. For the first phase of the empirical part, I choose quantitative research, where I find out by the method of a questionnaire survey, general information of teachers in the given issue, basic orientation in school documents and different methods of work. In the second phase of the practical part, in the form of qualitative research, I create unstructured interviews. Through the interview, I supplement the information obtained from the questionnaire survey and obtain comprehensive data on the process of integrating socially disadvantaged children into kindergarten. Integrated education of children from socially disadvantaged families

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of integrated education of children from socially disadvantaged families on the preschool level. This topic is currently very relevant due to recent changes in legislation and the increasing trend of inclusion of children with some type of learning disadvantage to the mainstream education. The topic of integration of socially disadvantaged children has a potential to be explored from the point of view of preschool facilities, which are participators in the issue. The main goal of this research is to identify how integration of socially disadvantaged children works in practice. This research also found out which specific methods kindergartens apply, how much does the process follow legislation and also how its employees evaluate the effectiveness of integration. The thesis also provided an overview of the tools used in integrated education through the theory of public policy instruments. The findings of this bachelor thesis came primarily from a case study of kindergarten Mozaika, which is located in Jihlava. The research goals were fulfilled thanks to experience of interviewed teachers. Findings from interviews were supplemented by data obtained from a research of literature, legislation and statistical data.

This situation has had a great impact especially on the pupils with special needs including those with social disadvantage. The qualitative research together with structured and semi-structured interviews with socially disadvantaged families and educational service workers will, with emphasis on the issue of pupils with social disadvantage, help clarify the input preconditions for distance education with its obstacles, schools' strategies, the role of special tutors and the schools' potential for collaboration with other institutions and participants at the time of distance eduction. The outcomes of this thesis reveal that to find an adequate way to support the pupils with special needs, it is crucial for the schools to know the pupils' family conditions and set up a suitable strategy for their education based on the situation. Social disadvantage of children and the young at the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

This diploma thesis focuses on clients of the Department of child and adolescent psychiatry who are hospitalized because of their behaviour and adaptation disorder. A significant sign of these children is their problematic behaviour and maladaptation resulting from their social handicap which has several forms. The environment of psychiatry centre adjusts different social measures and educational patterns and needs. The theoretic part describes the term of a socially disadvantaged child, moreover, it states the function of a family, relations and educational styles as a base of primal socialisation, as a headstone of their activity in society. The practical part of the thesis describes seven case studies about individual clients of the centre and their activity in this specific environment. The main goal of the investigation was to prove that the psyche of the school aged children is influenced by their social handicap which results in their bad self- control mechanisms, low self-evaluation, and also in their behaviour disorders. Diploma thesis The profession of assistant teacher at the first level of elementary school with his own perspective, deals with the teacher's assistants in terms of motivation, which the actors led to the profession, in terms of demands for this profession, cooperation with teachers, pupils and their parents. The thesis also examines the position / role of teacher assistant at school and looks at the self-perceptions of the actors themselves. The thesis is divided into two parts, ie the theoretical part and the practical part. In the practical part are presented the results of analysis of interviews with teachers' assistants. In the theoretical part, the reader is first acquainted with the trend of inclusive education, the division of pupils with special educational needs and the provision of support measures, including the profession of teacher assistant.
