Written Texts of Czech Deaf

The topic of the dissertation is the communication of the deaf in written Czech. The theoretical part presents the studies of written Czech for the deaf which have been carried out in the Czech Republic so far, considers the causes of difficulties the deaf encounter when making Czech written texts, and deals with the position of written Czech in the education of the deaf. The next part is devoted to the Czech sign language, the characteristics of its specifics and its role in the communication and education of deaf pupils, especially in connection with the currently valid legislation. Attention is also focused on the components and construction of narrative texts and on the acquisition of narrative competencies in spoken and sign languages. The research part is focused on the qualitative analysis of narrative texts in Czech, the authors of which are deaf pupils of two primary schools for the hearing impaired aged 14 to 16, and which were created on the basis of a picture story. As part of the analysis of written narratives, attention is focused on the specific features which make the written texts of the deaf different from the texts written by hearing Czechs. Process of reading for pupils with dyslexia at the 2nd level of primary school

The reading process is a demanding cognitive process. With it, we achieve various levels of reading literacy. Pupils with dyslexia face not only problems mastering the reading technique, but also comprehension of the text. The main goal of the diploma thesis is to assess and find out how the learning process of pupils with dyslexia at the second stage of primary school takes place with regard to the reading process, which is weakened in these pupils. The partial goal of the diploma thesis is to find out which methods are used by teachers when working with pupils with dyslexia. The diploma thesis is processed as a qualitative research investigation using the technique of observation of a selected group in the educational process (second grade students), analysis of student documentation and interviews with students, their parents and teachers according to a pre-prepared scenario. The diploma thesis deals with the influence of the use of intervention aids on the educational process of pupils with dyslexia at the second stage of primary school and the suitability of individual aids for intervention in specific cases.
Burnot syndrome prevention among teachers of pupils with intelectual disability

The Master's Thesis addresses prevention of the burnout syndrome in regards to teachers at special needs primary schools. These teachers work with pupils with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. The theoretical part of the paper deals with the causes, risk factors, and prevention possibilities of the burnout syndrome. It deals with the burnout syndrome as a general phenomenon which affects the entire population. It furthermore addresses the risk of a burnout in teachers and the risk-factor specifics of this group. Furthermore, it outlines the specifics of education at primary schools for pupils with special needs. This part provides needed foundation for the actual research. The practical part of the thesis contains an analysis of a research conducted at a specific primary special school. For the research, I used the qualitative design method in the form of interviews. The interviews were conducted with five teachers and the director of the Kindergarten and Primary Special School Diakonie ČCE. Implementation of weekly thematic units into the teaching in special elementary school

The thesis deals with possibilities of educating pupils with moderate and severe mental disabilities, multiple disabilities and autism. The theoretical part describes an educational system of these pupils and presents an integrated thematic teaching model in weekly units. The practical part presents a proposal of teaching project in the specific educational needs of these pupils. The aim of this thesis is to introduce proposed teaching project in the duration of one month, into the conditions of particular special elementary school and find out its learning results by action research. The outputs of this thesis are proposals for integrated thematic teaching in special elementary school. Inclusive education of a pupil with a cochlear implant

The bachelor thesis is focused on the inclusive education of pupils with hearing impairment. In the theoretical parts there is a problem with hearing impairment, cochlear implantation and the educational process of a pupil with a cochlear implant. It acquaints us with diagnostics and classification of hearing impairment. Other advantages about the advantages and disadvantages of the cochlear implant and the possibility of communication of people with hearing impairment. It also includes an introduction to the concept of inclusion. In the practical part, the work is believed to be a pupil with a cochlear implant included in a regular primary school. It was processed on the basis of interviews and participatory observation. Look for what you want, whether you have ink ribbon and how it is taught by educators and the student's parents.
Siblings of people with an impairment and his position in family

This thesis discusses the topic of siblings of individuals with disabilities and their position in the family. The theoretical part aims to define family and its functions, specifics of a parent-child relationship, different kinds of nurturing of a child and also discusses the role of an intact sibling in the family with a child with disability. The second part of the theoretical chapter talks about the place of the child with special needs in the family and in the educational environment, presents different attitudes towards inclusive education, defines the disabilities that are relevant for our further research and presents specifics of living with a child with disability from the point of view of the intact sibling. The main aim of the research was to find out how the siblings themselves reflect on the impact of living with a child with disability on their own development and their future. This thesis was based on literature analysis and qualitative research with elements of grounded theory. The main research technique was an analysis of literature and unstructured interviews with five young adult siblings of individuals with disabilities. Application of supportive measures in the education of pupils with dysgraphia from the perspective of teachers at the second stage of primary school

Diploma thesis deals with application of supportive measures in the education of pupils with dysgraphia from the perspective of teachers at the second stage of primary school. It aims to a recommendation that a teacher can support provided to students with dysgraphia. It will bring teachers' insight into the use of selected support measures for pupils with dysgraphia. The theoretical part of the description of the education of pupils with special educational needs, especially with a focus on support measures, further recording of problems with learning disabilities, where there is more space for imprisonment of dysgraphia and application of support measures for pupils with dysgraphia at the 2nd level. The empirical part contains qualitative research, which enables methods of semi-structured interview. Subsequently, it is possible to analyze the data using open coding. Research questions and formulation recommendations that may be available in practice are answered.
