This bachelor thesis is divided into two parts - a practical part and a theoretical part. The practical part is devoted to the translation of the selected text from Spanish to Czech. I choose for translation a study about the evolution of Spanish alimentation and gastronomy which was written by Ismael Díaz Yubero and was published in 2010 with other studies within the book La Cocina de su tinta which accompanied an exhibition of the same name under the patronage of Spanish national library. The theoretical part includes the characteristics of the original text and its language, the problems that appeared in the translation and their solutions. The main aspect of this thesis is a functional point of view.

In its parts individual products and specialities typical for different regions are described. Further, the gastronomy is presented as a cultural phenomenon in lives of French people and eating habits of them are outlined. Apart from the regional products there are also food labels and their importance during shopping described in the thesis. On the basis of own research the position and acquaintance of French gastronomy in the Czech republic is studied together with conscience of Czechs about French specialities.
Alimentation of the younger school-aged children in relationship with the school environment

This bachelor thesis provides information about the eating of the younger school-aged children with a special focus on their eating habits during the morning time at school. This age group carries certain alimentation particularities, which need to be observed. A theoretical part of the thesis contains the key information about this issue. A practical part deals with a research at a selected primary school. The research focuses on the determination of the first school pupil's alimentation, the relationship of a teacher towards the pupil's alimentation and the overall effect of the school environment on the children's eating.

Topic - Methods of affecting overweightness and obesity by applying non-pharmaceutical intervention with middle-aged women Goals - The goal is to lay out the methods of intervention in terms of reducing obesity and overweightness, by applying regime changes, or more specifically diets and appropriate physical excercises. Methods - While composing my thesis, I used the literary research method which uses printed and internet sources. Results - The success of regime changes in terms of obesity and overweightness shows only then, when we ensure higher energy usage. We have to change the lifestyle as well as apply a diet coupled with frequent physical activity, all of which should be based on the health state and actual physical abilities of the individual. The goal of this bachelor thesis/study is to chart eating habits, bad eating habits, preferences of food and the way of catering by students of the bachelor degree at the Faculty of Management of the University of Economis in Prague. The final results of the study might be of use for decision making about the menu of catering facilities, which are established by the faculty (cafeteria, buffet). Furthermore, these informations might be beneficial for students themselves.

This bachelor's thesis deals with issues of the national gastronomy and issues of the gastronomy tourism in the Czech Republic as well. The thesis is focused on typical Czech national products, ingredients and related events. The main focus is especially on gastronomic atractivnesses within the Central Bohemia Region. The description of protected designation according to the European union and a summary of certificated eatables and products in the Czech Republic are mentioned in one part of the thesis. In general, the thesis presents gastronomy as one of the important parts of tourism in the Czech Republic.

Nowadays it is becoming more popular to travel and at the same time to get acquainted with the gastronomy and the culture of a foreign country. The theme of this thesis is the gastronomic tourism and the offer of gourmet tours. The aim is to evaluate the current state of gastronomic tourism with the help of analysis of tours for gourmets offered by Czech and Russian travel agencies. Rating is based on the offer of gourmet tours listed on the websites of travel agencies.

This thesis focuses on finding the possible causes of failure of small businesses. It defines specific situations that may arise during the business of providing hospitality and sports services. It contains opinions of the customers and the employees. The aim of this thess is to assess the situation in a particular small business, to find and to specify the causes of the failure of the company and then to propose possible changes and solutions.
Employee Benefits under the Czech Law

The thesis deals with the topic of employee benefits in the Czech Republic. At first, the thesis sets employee benefits to specific area of the company, which is an in-house social policy of the company. Following part deals with the legislative framework, which regulates the providing of these benefits in 2015. The thesis includes a chapter describing the employee benefits, their structure and their various distribution systems. Analysis of the trends in the provision of employee benefits creates another part of the thesis. Three types of employee benefits are analyzed in detail: meal allowances, educational allowances and contributions to employees' pension savings. In the conclusion of thesis is explored the whole system of employee benefits used in the company Siemens Ltd., where are analyzed its individual benefits and includes evaluation of a questionnaire.
