Educational needs of school management and educational institutions in the field of labour law

The bachelor thesis attempts to survey and compare educational needs, opinions and experience of people employed in various fields of school management regarding the application of employment and labour law. The aim of the practical part is to determine whether and how the management's educational needs concerning employment and labour law differ depending on the type of school. The research findings might contribute to efficient labour law teaching and learning.
Influence of the RWCT Methods on Development of Selected Communication Skills of Preschool Children

This work deals with development of preschool children vocabulary. It focuses on speech self, on its development in relation to thinking and the development from the ontogenetic perspektive. Further, its maps the view on speech development in the past and present. The part dealing with RWCT follows. The thesis tries to outline the basic ideas of this programme and its application in kindergarten. It aims to familiarise readers with new approaches and methods of language and speech development, and to outline the basics of this programme. The thesis also compares this programme with the Start Together programme, which issues from RWCT. Another topic of the thesis is a comparison of the objectives of RWCT and the Framework Education Programme for Preschool Education, where the relationship between RWCT and Framework Education Programme for Preschool Edication objectives is shown. In the practical part of the thesis, statistical data from two kindergartens show whether using RWCT methods in kindergarten positively impacts development of select communication skills of preschool children. The thesis aims to prove that the RWCT methods positively support the overall communication skills and abilities of preschool children.

In its theoretical part, the education preparing kindergarten teachers and pedagogical competences are analysed, which is set into the legislative framework to show the problem area within fundamental legal and pedagogical documents, along with specification of competences and preparatory education, the key concepts. The practical part is focused on gathering profession-related data from two groups of students (two secondary school graduates, three university graduates) to compare the level of their preparatory education. The aim of the thesis is to determine the level of respondents'opinions for the needs of introducing the headmaster`s profession and its influence on the quality of the school management with a potential impact on the overall level of education in the Czech Republic. The thesis also submits analyses of levels of knowledge in certain areas of management competences and assesses their importance for management work of the headmaster as basis for setting standards and headmaster` s career. The first part of the thesis include theoretical knowledge of school management. It introduces the preparation and filling of school managerial staff. It also introduces the creation of a competency model as a tool for selection, evaluation and further development of training school headmasters. Management competences development

The manager developement process is the anchor theme of the organisations and their HR departments. The quality manager is the key factor for the effective function of employees, teams within and the organisation as a whole, and facilitates the functioning process. This thesis deals with the problematics of manager developement, with a special focus on the training and other developing activities. The empirical part is orientated on three target groups participating on the manager developement. The qualitative part of the research was being realised through semi- structured interviews with lectors and HR managers. The quantitative part captures the interviews with the managers themselves. The manager skills are divided into four areas-Communication Skills, Presentation Skills, Management of People and Self-Management. In the requirement of quantitative research the Questionaire of the Developement of Manager Skills was constructed. The three hypotheses were being tested, first by Pearson correlation coefficient, the following two by dependent t-test for paired samples with a significance level of 0,05. Conception of key competencies by teachers and a question of its application into teaching

My thesis explores the pedagogical issue of key competencies, it especially focuses on learning competency, its development, teacher's concept of the competency and its application into learning at a secondary school. The theoretical part introduces main terms and concepts and the characteristics of educational process, which influence development of competencies. The research part is a qualitative research. The data have been collected through observations in class and semi-structured interviews. The interviews were held with teachers of the secondary schools, which were observed afterwards. Within these lessons was filled in a special observation form which evaluates through specific categories how effectively is learning competency being developed.
Competency profile of the school canteen manager

Sumarry: The work focuses on the problem of canteen manager competence. It is based on up-to-date theoretic knowledge of competence and specifies the aims of modern school boarding in canteens. The work analyses the results of the survey the aim of which was to judge the particular competence of the respondents. Canteen manager competence profile based on the theory and survey results was created afterwards. This profile can be used by the management of schools for the employee selection, the analysis of employees` educational needs or for their assessment.
Analysis of the Head cook's job position at primary school

This work deals with analysis of Head cook's job position at primary school. Its aim is to map necessary qualification, knowledge and abilities in the field of professional and management competence. All the relevant information needed to describe the job and to specify demands on this job was gathered through the survey. At the same time the survey showed, which professional and management competence was preferred when filling the head position in school boarding. The results of the survey were used as a source to make an instruction how to describe the primary school head cook's job. This instruction is presented at the end of the work.
Coaching as a tool for leading people

2 Abstract This thesis submitted focuses on coaching as a style of leading people. The thesis analyzes the fundamental principles and tools of professional coaching which are subsequently interpreted from the perspective of their possible use in managerial practice with all benefits and potential difficulties. Due to its specificity, I deal with the role of the manager-coach as well. Given the focus of the thesis, I first dealt with the definition of coaching as such without any detailed specification, and with its possible use. I used the gained information for defining the managerial coaching in the context of leading people. In the second chapter I concentrated on coach and manager-coach as a person, their characteristics and competence which are necessary for coaching. In the third and fourth chapter I mainly dealt with coaching tools and their use in managerial practice. Finally, the thesis compares the results of an international research with the author's questionnaire survey, from the viewpoint of the use of coaching in organizations in the Czech Republic and world scale. The Change in the System of Work of the Anaesthetic Team

The diploma thesis deals with a concept of a new system of anesthetic administration in the Czech Republic. The attitude of anesthesiological nurses was inquired in a form of quantitative research questionnaire. It suggests higher/wilder competence for non - medical staff during carring out an anesthesia. In the particular chapters of the theoretical part are described different contexts of the topic (history of anethesia, change implementation theory, description of a current situation in anestesiology, comparison with other countries, legislative) and their mutual connection. Research results dealing with anesthesiological nurses opinions on suggested model of changes in carring out an anesthesia are described in an Empirical section. In a section Results of quantitative research I describe many facts, give explanations, confirmations or disproves of hypothesis arising from the research. According to the results, there exists sufficient support among anesthesilogical nurses for carring out a new system of work into an anesthesiological department. Based on facts and information from the first part of the thesis and data research I described a plan of change implementation supervision.
