Professional education of criminalistic technicians of the Military Police

The thesis is focused on the professional education of criminalistic technicians of the Military Police. In the first, theoretical part of the thesis, the author deals with education and training of criminalistic technicians of the Military Police in the context demarcating basic theoretical concepts from the area of further professional education, brief introduction to the structure of the Military Police and clarification of basic concepts from the area of criminalistic and technical activities of the Military Police. The aim of the second, practical part of the thesis, is to analyze the current professional education of criminalistic technicians of the Military Police with a focus on their needs.

Markéta Fraibišová Abstract This diploma thesis deals with education of specialists of the Labour Office of the Czech Republic in the capital city of Prague. The Labour Office of the Czech Republic, as an administrative authority with nationwide competence, has its own educational system, which includes both regular and project staff. Employee education program is driven by direct leaders who identify learning needs, assign employees to training events and evaluate learning outcomes. The aim of this diploma thesis is to propose a modification of the educational system for specialists of the Czech Labour Office in the capital city of Prague. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis is focused on adult education, education management and training of public administration employees. The practical part of the diploma thesis is based on questionnaire survey, interview and internal documents analysis. Vocational education management in business academy in cooperation with employers

Vocational training in the business academy and cooperation with employers Marcela Sládková ABSTRACT The diploma thesis deals with contemporary issues of secondary vocational education and involvement of employers in this process. The theoretical part focuses on the system of secondary vocational education in the Czech Republic, the framework educational programs and the legislative of cooperation between schools and employers. Further it describes the goals of the Education Policy Strategy in the Czech Republic by 2020 in the area of Vocational Education in cooperation with employers and follows concrete possibilities of cooperation between employers representatives and business academy, especially within the students' practical training. The important role of the school principal in this collaboration is pointed out. The research part analyses the cooperation between the teachers, employers and students in terms of mutual requirements for practical training. This section provides knowledge, experience and incentives for employers, and also provides recommendations for cooperation in the same or similar types of schools. Historical development of the profession of Nutritional therapist

This bachelor's thesis maps the development of professionalization of nutritional therapists and their predecessors. The attention is paid specially to the relation to other medical disciplines (public health protection, nursing care, medical science), and the thesis also outlines the development of nutrition care from the point of view of these professions. Furthermore, it deals with the questions of the titles and content of this profession, its regulation, related education and professional association. The thesis is of theoretical nature and applies in particular the method of historical research. It is grounded especially on sources from previous literature, contemporary professional journals and magazines, interview with witness and information from other sources. With the aim of providing a comparison with relevant historical information, it describes the current position of nutritional therapists, in particular the possibilities for studying the discipline, competencies and professional career.
Cyril O. Houle's Concept of Adult Education

The master's thesis is focused on work of Cyril Orvin Houle, key thoughts and the influence on a theory and a practise of the adult education in the United States of America. The key objective of the thesis is introduce Cyril Orvin Houle's work, analyse primary and secondary sources and find key thoughts of the topic of the adult education. Papers and journals are described into details, which illustrate the beginning of his career and current topics, on which he responded, and selected professional and popular science publicatons. His works are set into a context of a development of the adult education in the USA and inspirational sources are identified. On the basis of the analysis results of documents, it can be concluded that key thoughts are self-directed learning, motivation of adult lerners to connect into education activities, vocational education conception in the USA and education programmes planning.
Comparison of students' and teachers' views on the contribution of vocational education to future path of the graduates

The thesis is dealing with vocational education in Czech Republic. Particularly, it is focused on the comparison of students' and teachers' opinion on the contribution of vocational education to future path of the graduates. It has two parts - theory and research. Theoretical part begins with discussion about vocational and general education on the philosophical and empirical level. The specifics of Central Europe in this discussion are also mentioned. In the next part, system of vocational education in Czech Republic is presented, including its history and current issues. Theory is ended with providing statistics about changes in participation in education since 1989 and about the success of the graduates in the labour market in tertiary education. In practical part, interviews with students and teachers are conducted to find out their opinion about influence of upper secondary vocational education on the future success of the graduates.
Why Apprenticeship? The Choice of Secondary Vocational Schools among First Year Apprentices and their Attitudes towards the School and Education

(in English) This thesis deals with the choice of the Czech secondary vocational schools. Through a description of important theoretical approaches connected to the education and a study of the Czech educational system, the paper is getting to the analysis based on qualitative interviews analysed in compliance with the grounded theory approach. Through these interviews the process of choosing the secondary school and the relationship to the chosen school is described. In this part also the data from OECD PISA 2012 are used to provide an additional context. It is argued that the choice done by the apprentices is significantly limited and that the main source of such limits is social. These conclusions are connected with overall context of the Czech highly differentiated educational system. Human Protection in Emergencies as a Theme for Vocational School Students

TITLE: Human Protection in Emergencies as a part of Health Education AUTHOR: Iva Metelková DEPARTMENT: Department of Education SUPERVISOR: PaedDr. Eva Marádová, CSc. ABSTRACT Human Protection in Emergency (HPE) is the subject of this theoretical research thesis. The theoretical part focuses on a set of human protection in emergency and military training in the broader historical context but also legislative context. Space is devoted to the unambiguous definition of related terms. Furthermore the course curriculum reform with emphasis on the level of secondary vocational education. The practical part is focused on the evaluation of the research that was conducted among the students of first and second years of nonscience oriented secondary vocational schools. Data for the research was obtained by questionnaire survey and analyzed the statistical method. The work also includes a draft concept for the implementation of the teaching of human protection in emergencies. The objective of this proposal is to ensure access to information concerning the HPE for students but also for teachers and that contribute to the formation of desirable patterns of behavior for participation in the incident.
