Teaching Sex Education in Selected Czech Schools from the Perspective of Pupils and Their Teachers

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of sex education in the context of school education. The theoretical part of the thesis presents a general view into the teaching of sex education with an emphasis on the prevention of risky behaviour of adolescents. The main aim of the thesis was to map the teaching of sex education in two selected schools. The research methods of data collection were two - a questionnaire survey designed for the selected students (101 respondents) and an interview for the teachers who teach sex education at the selected schools (two teachers). The results of the survey reflect the respondents' experiences of teaching sex education in these schools, their personal views and suggestions, which were used to develop recommendations for practice. In both selected schools, the teaching of sex education is included only towards the end of compulsory schooling. At the selected primary school, its topics are taught in the subject of science, at the selected secondary school in the subject of "civic education". 85.7 % of the respondents of the selected primary school stated that they were divided into groups according to gender during sex education, while 84.4 % of the respondents of the selected secondary school stated that they were not divided. My final thesis deals with the the topic of awareness of selected respondents aged 18 - 35 years about good oral hygiene in a selected dental office. In the theoretical part of the thesis, a brief overview of dental anatomy and it's general characteristics are presented. Furthermore, the anatomy of the dentition is expanded by a brief anatomy of the periodontium. This is followed by selected oral diseases that are most commonly encountered. Dentistry as a separate discipline also encounters the myths and superstitions that are prevalent in society and at the same time the different types of prevetion - primary, secondary and tertiar - are completely related to them. The different types of prevention reflect the areas that we classify among them. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is an attempt to assess the level of knowledge and awareness of the selected respondents in a particular dental practice. The information required for the practical part of the bachelor thesis was obtained by means of questionnaire survey. The results of this research can be found in the second part of bachelor thesis. Difficulties of pupils and teachers in the period of compulsory distance education

This thesis presents the experiences, insights and experiences of participants in online and offline distance education in a selected primary school during the covid-19 pandemic. The thesis focuses on the educational and hidden difficulties of students and teachers in one primary school, coming as a result of the transition of full-time study to distance or irregular hybrid learning, but also focuses on the pedagogical activities of teachers under the influence of online learning. For schools and especially for their teachers in the era of mandated distance education, it was necessary to change their ways of working, to choose methods and forms not used so far, to adapt didactics to the virtual socio-space and to significantly change the existing pedagogical communication, ways of self-reflection and evaluation of students' activities. The aim of the work is to search and record knowledge and information from educational actors about the impact of online distance learning, to analyze and compare these findings and to elaborate an overview of possible learning difficulties and their impact on further education. The impact of the Covid 19 pandemic on teaching techniques and strategies

The impact of the Covid 19 epidemic on instructional methods and practices is examined in the diploma thesis. The thesis seeks to ascertain Covid 19's effect on modifications to learning methods and strategies. The objective is to identify the changes that will take place. Identifying obstacles and figuring out whether teachers are interested in changing their teaching methods. Theoretical material includes searches of relevant literature and other sources. Primarily findings of the Czech School Inspection; judgments and suggestions from the Ministry of Education and Sports are also included. The results of the questionnaire survey are the main topic of the practical section. The quantitative study was conducted using a questionnaire among instructors. (specifically, 101 respondents). The output is recommendations on how to incorporate changes into teaching, such as through subsidies, as well as recommendations on how to employ various teaching apps that do not require financial subsidies.
