The aim of the research was to find out what and how has been talented pupil formed in terms of development and to suggest further recommendations based on the results of the research. The theoretical part of the thesis examines talent in general, explains the concept of talent, describes approaches to talent in time and focus on models and types of talent. Intellectual talent, especially natural science, is described in more detail as well. Furthermore, theoretical part focuses on the talented pupil, its characteristics, identification and diagnostics. Didactics of Gifted Children at Primary School

This master thesis aims to describe the methods, form of work and educational strategies used in teaching gifted students and to verify their effectiveness in practice though action - based teacher research. The teoretical part contains the results of czech and foreign literature research concerning the issue of gifted education. It focuses mainly on methods, forms and content of education, but also defining the basic concepts of be gifted and be talented, models of giftedness, characteristics and typologies of gifted pupils, their motivation and attitude of teacher, who plays an essential role in the education process of (not only) gifted pupils. The practical part contains the course and evaluation of action teacher research, where I will apply theoretical knowledge to primary school classes with gifted children and verify their effectiveness in practice. The research is divided into two cycles. The first cycle is focused on observing teaching. The other one cycle includes the planning, implementation and reflection of self teaching, into which the theoretical knowledge is applied. Differentiation and individualization of teaching gifted with ADHD at primary school

This master thesis aims to introduce and describe effective strategies and teaching methods that teachers of gifted pupils with ADHD use and during which the different educational needs of these learners are taken into consideration. This thesis also presents how faculty primary school teachers apply these strategies and teaching methods in integrated and segregated forms of education focused on gifted pupils with ADHD. The theoretical part of this thesis summarizes findings about the issues of differentiation, individualization, talent and teaching strategies of gifted pupils. It also deals with a specific group of gifted pupils with ADHD which are classified as twice-exceptional learners. Therefore, there are also described the recommended strategies for the education of pupils with ADHD. Based on the study of Czech and foreign literature, this thesis delimits strategies and teaching methods which are suitable for gifted pupils with ADHD. Intelectually gifted pupil in the basic school - development in Czech language classes

This diploma thesis deals with intellectually talented individuals and from the narrower point of view, gifted pupils in the subject of Czech language at the second level of elementary school. In the theoretical part, the author deals with the talents, definitions and concepts of this issue, existing models from various authors, characteristics of gifted children, approaches of Czech schools to the education of these children and extra-curricular possibilities for the development of their talent. This thesis also deals with linguistic intelligence and personality of the teacher. The main objective is to give a realistic picture of how teachers of the Czech language view gifted pupils and what differences they find between gifted individuals and ordinary students. Furthermore, the author of the thesis searches for the differences between the capabilities of pupils gifted at the Czech language and other pupils in fulfilling the assigned tasks. Thesis topic is individualization in education as a means to educate gifted students at the elementary school. The aim is to find out how teachers educate gifted students at the elementary school and what types of individualization techniques applied in everyday teaching. Teacher's attitude to education of gifted students, issues orientation and differentiation of educational offerings. The focus of the theoretical part is description of the specific characteristics and the problems of gifted children, which affects educational process and the relationships with the teacher and classmates. Problems of novice teachers

The present thesis Problems Faced by Beginning Teachers deals with the issue of beginning teachers and their problems in their first years of teaching. The aim of this paper is to identify key problems of beginning teachers. An analysis of scientific literature and other relevant documents, questionnaires and narrative interviews with beginning teachers were used to achieve a project objective. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter focuses on the concept of a teacher and their professional development. The second chapter describes teacher training, the third one deals with a role of mentors and the fourth chapter presents some potential problems that beginning teachers might face. The problems could be divided into several different categories, for instance, teaching problems, organizational problems, material and technical problems and social problems. The fifth chapter involves empirical research in the form of questionnaires, narrative interviews and my own introspection. The respondents are beginning teachers who are in their first five years of teaching experience.
Home Preparation of Gifted Young Learner

The Bachelor's thesis deals home preparation of gifted young learners. The thesis is divided into two sections, a theoretical part and the empirical one. The theoretical part deals mainly with the explanation of basic terminology related to this issue, characterization, identification and diagnosis of gifted young learner and education opportunities. The theoretical part concludes with a chapter on home preparation. The empirical part comprises of a qualitative research to describe home preparation of gifted young learner, its specifics and check the used school materials and supplies that students use. The empirical part of the strategy of research is a case study and research method of semi-structured interview. Possibilities for the development of cognitively gifted pupils within the primary education

The Bachelor's thesis deals with possibilities for the development of cognitively gifted children within the primary education. It is divided into two parts, a theoretical one and a practical one. The theoretical part is focused on explaining terms which are related to the topic, characterizing cognitively gifted pupils and defining possibilities for the development of cognitively gifted pupils. The practical part comprises of a qualitative research aimed at finding out schools' and their teachers' attitude towards the education of gifted pupils and discovering what kinds of teaching methods or other strategies are used within the educational process.
Gifted student at contemporary school

This work deals with the gifted children and their education possibilities in Czech schools. The work is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part we first look in what talent is, we will explain different terms which are similar in meaning to the word talent and how to differentiate between them, we will introduce models of talent by various authors and also the basic types of talent. Further I mention the characteristics of the gifted children and how to use these characteristics to identify them. Subsequently, we divide the gifted children into different categories depending on the manifestations of their talents. Significant part of this work is the education of the gifted children, which I split into education at school and out of school. I describe concrete forms of education and possibilities of work with the gifted children and I evaluate their pros and cons. By out of school activities I mean family environment and organizations and institutions focused on education of the gifted children. The rest of the theoretical part I provide summary of this of this topic in the Czech Republic and also what is the situation with education of the pedagogues of the gifted children.
