Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá možnostmi rozvoje kognitivně nadaných žáků na 1. stupni běžných základních škol a je rozdělena na dvě části, část teoretickou a část praktickou. Teoretická část je zaměřena především na vysvětlení pojmů souvisejících s touto problematikou, charakteristiku kognitivně nadaného žáka a vymezení možností rozvoje jeho nadání v rámci 1. stupně základní školy. Praktická část obsahuje kvalitativní výzkum, jehož cílem bylo zjistit, jaký je přístup škol a jejich pedagogů ke vzdělávání kognitivně nadaných žáků a které metody práce a strategie jsou ve vzdělávacím procesu využívány. The Bachelor's thesis deals with possibilities for the development of cognitively gifted children within the primary education. It is divided into two parts, a theoretical one and a practical one. The theoretical part is focused on explaining terms which are related to the topic, characterizing cognitively gifted pupils and defining possibilities for the development of cognitively gifted pupils. The practical part comprises of a qualitative research aimed at finding out schools' and their teachers' attitude towards the education of gifted pupils and discovering what kinds of teaching methods or other strategies are used within the educational process.
