The Role of Teaching Practice in Development of Student of the Teachers Training for Primary School

The diploma thesis named Pedagogical practices and their tasks for primary school teachers' development deals with the topic of the pedagogical practices at colleges and universities. The thesis finds out the extent of students' being ready for carrying the practice out. The following task of the thesis is to describe what the students and beginner teachers think about the practice. The theoretical part is aimed at the pedagogical practice process and its connection with the primary teachers' education. Important part of the thesis is to compare the time extent of the practice at different colleges and universities. The practical part works with the qualitative research. The used methods for this part are questionnaire and interview. The pedagogical faculty students describe their experience with the pedagogical practices. The beginner teachers evaluate the level of the practices. Comparison of current undergraduate training future biology teachers in selected countries

In most of the countries all over the world, one can find governmental resorts (ministries) focused on education in the given country. The agenda of these ministries is, among other things, the education of those who are supposed to educate others, in other words, pedagogical workers or teachers. Teachers are the fundamental functional unit in education which is why there ought to be a special emphasis placed upon their education and preparation. Unless the society has sufficiently qualified teachers, it cannot expect any excellent results in education, even though there are some other factors involved as well. The main concern of this bachelor thesis lies on teachers' education, mainly biology teachers: what is the lowest possible education needed and how many years must a future teacher study; what is the required structure of teachers' education in the Czech Republic, Finland, Poland, Ireland and in the USA and what part of the future teachers' study is dedicated to gaining knowledge in biology and what part to obtain pedagogical-psychological knowledge which is considered necessary for working itself in the pedagogy sphere.
Faculty school and its role in teacher training

In the theoretical part of the thesis I am going to focus on the theoretical problems of teaching practice at universities and its role in the preparation of future teachers. In the practical part I will use questionnaires and interviews to seek features of a good faculty school, and try to specify areas that demand more support to faculty schools from the Faculty of Education. Mentoring as a tool to support the professional development of teachers and students of teaching

Work explores the benefits of mentoring for the professional development of teachers and students of teaching. The aim is to contribute to discussions of mentoring in the Czech Republic. The theme of mentoring in our conditions is relatively new, so the work seeks to contribute to the theoretical grasp of the subject too. Research is conducted in qualitative approach using case study design. Case there is interaction between the mentor and mentee, where are defined other criteria for the selection of teachers in the role of mentor to the research sample. Used data collection methods are: questioning by interview via instruction manual, expert interviews and a questionnaire with open questions. Other methods are the video analysis, documents and focus groups. Obtained data were analyzed according to several theoretical frameworks according selected strategy seeking hits/congruence and these initial theoretical concepts were enriched with data from case analysis and compared with each other. The results show that the benefits are perceived more on mentee side and benefits are accentuated and focused on the development in the profession, mentee gain as hints, tips and advice based on experience and the development of their independent thinking within the teaching profession. Adaptation process of beginning nursery teachers as a part of school management

The thesis deals with contemporary issues of beginning nursery teacher support. Especially it deals with their preparation for the profession and the actual process of adaptation to the working environment. The theoretical part is focused on the issue of support for beginning teachers in the Czech Republic from studies and defining the competencies of graduates to entry into the profession and adaptation as part of the school management. The aim is to create a draft of a new teacher's adaptation plan in a nursery based on theoretical knowledge and the results of the investigation into the needs and expectations of nursery directors and trainee teachers themselves. Theoretical basis is followed by empirical part - quantitative research survey consisting of questionnaires and interviews, which aims to determine whether the adaptation of beginning teachers is part of the school management and how experienced teachers are involved into the process, to determine agreement, expectations and requirements during the entry of beginning teachers into practice. Comparison of the results of research studies leads to recommendations for management education. Reality and dream

[Diploma thesis] Prague 2016 - Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Education, Art Education Department, p. 91, (annexes: two pieces of own art work) The subject of this thesis is an individual concept of the main theme - reality and dream. The author sees this theme through her own intensive experience, connecting it with the pedagogical practice and fine art. The thesis is divided into three parts, where the first, theoretical, discusses imaging of themes connected with a woman and motherhood, offering a parallel of the traditional male view and female concept of the present. The didactic part brings a search for the ideal way - dream - in an environment hostile to art education at private vocational school. The practical part presents the author's own art work reflecting her personal experience with motherhood. The teaching of foreign languages and the process of preparation of teachers of foreign languages in the period 1990-2012

This work focuses on changes in teaching foreign languages and on new requirements for education and training of foreign language teachers after 1989, including a brief survey of the history of foreign language teaching and the development of teacher training. It observes changes in the area of learning objectives, changes in the teacher - pupil relationship, changes in work methods. It deals with a new approach to the selection and use of teaching materials and the inclusion of new technologies in teaching. It discusses the implementation of both the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and the European Language Portfolio. The work presents in the form of interviews also personal experience with teaching foreign languages and possible ways to achieve the required qualification.
Language Management of Secondary Education Teachers of Czech and Their Contribution to Forming the Standard Czech

This thesis analysis in social practise the Language Management Theory - it deals with pedagogical activity of Czech language teachers at secondary schools, based on corrections of writen language tests. The goal of this paper was to find out whether the norm of czech standard language which is contained in codices correspond with the norm that is presented by teachers. This thesis uses modern metdological approaches from the sociolinguistic sphere, especially the method of so called 'Follow-Up Interview'. It also uses the concept of the Social Power Field by Ulrich Ammon and the Language Management Theory by J. V. Neustupný as general methodological basis. As the source of information served authentic tests which has been filled by fifty students of a secondary school a and then corrected by eight czech language teachers. Other sources were Follow-Up Interviews with the teachers and questionnaires. On the basis of these sources the Language Management Theory was researched and also the idea of the teachers about the norm of standard language. This idea was compared to the opinions of other three instances of the Social Power Field. In cases there was something unclear the information were completed from the Follow-Up Interviews.
