Beginning teacher from the point of view of daeling with professional qualities

The thesis "Beginning teacher from the point of view of dealing with professional qualities" reacts to the actual theme of seeking professional competencies of teachers and of suitable evaluation methods. It focuses on the work of beginning teachers and their professional quality and on further incentives for their professional growth. At the same time identifies what helps novice teachers during the first years of teaching activities. In the theoretical part knowledge and opinions of specialists are summarized and organized into three chapters. The experts were selected according to themes: teacher quality, professional competence, teaching profession, training of teachers and their support in practice. The practical part presents qualitative research which through the research methods (questionnaire, interview, data analysis, case study) describes the reality of beginning teachers work in primary school. The research try to answer the question: How teachers in the early years of practice manage its activities to evaluate their professional quality, what are dealing with and what helps them to be a good teacher. My Diploma Thesis "Newly qualified teachers" is devoted to new teachers with less than 3 years of teaching experience after they graduated from accredited college and received a degree as a teacher. My focus is on the teachers in elementary schools. The goal of the theoretical part of my thesis is to collect technical information, opinions, ideas and knowledge from experts in the teaching profession in general, to characterize the new teacher's personality. In the few chapters I ponder possible fears, concerns, weaknesses and needs of the new teachers, and I also mention problematic field of the evaluation and self assessment of a new teacher. The content of the practical part of my thesis is exploratory inquiry using a method of survey. The goal of the questions and answers is to find out if the orientation of new teachers in elementary schools is functioning well with prepared orientation plan, and to identify and map out the problem areas that the new, inexperienced teachers feel in the beginning of their teaching carrier, and subsequently to detect and identify the new teachers' needs. Professional morale of teachers of kindergartens

This thesis is devoted to professional ethics teachers in kindergarten. It focuses on ethics and associated teaching profession. The theoretical part includes clarification of the theoretical concepts, such as ethics and morality. Describes the changes in history in the education of childcare, in the approach to the theory of education and the educator requirements. The practical part includes the research investigation, which focuses on the views of teachers and the general public on the professional morality associated with the creation of a code of ethics for teachers. Part of the research part is a description of the methods that were used to meet objectives. Also includes the interpretation of the data, and finally, evaluate the position of the public and of teachers to professional ethics educator with views on the content of the proposal for a code of ethics. The conclusion of the thesis assesses the evidence and circumstances, which have been identified in the course of the investigation.
Teachers: burnout syndrom versus engagement and professional enthusiasm

The thesis is dealing with the problematics of burnout syndrome and engagement in teaching profession in different types of schools and grades. Its objective is to detect the degree of burnout in a selected sample of teachers and map the main determinants of contentment related to engaged teachers. The theoretical part defines the concept of burnout syndrome, its development, progress, signs, causes and diagnostics. It clarifies the development of burnout in teaching profession. Furthermore, it describes the key characteristics of engagement, the diagnostic methods and the relationship between teaching and engagement. The empiric part has two goals: to find out the degree of burnout in teachers and depict the essential factors which contribute to their engagement. The research was based on questionnaires and interviews and answered the research questions. The results are presented in tables and graphs. In conclusion, there are some suggestions how to lower the risk of genesis and growth of burnout syndrome. Professional identity of the teachers under the current curricular reform

This master thesis deals with changes in teacher's professional commitment after the Czech curriculum reform. This thesis works with official papers about reform, the papers about profession of teacher and articles connected with the professional commitment and with commitment changes. The empirical research focused on seven interviews with teachers from comprehensive schools.

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of the teaching profession in the period of totalitarianism on a particular territory of the Czech Republic. It deals with the period of 1948-1989 from the point of view of teachers and the school system. The theoretical part will give insight into the school structure, legislation, management and the position of primary school teachers in the given period, in the context of Sedlčany. The research part is based on the testimonies of teachers-witnesses of the time. Data acquisition methods are based on characteristic oral history tools. Problems of the beginning teachers of the health education

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of beginning teachers of health education. It focuses on the most common problems they have to face during the first 5 years in the teaching profession. The main goal of the thesis will be to identify the most common problems that beginning teachers of health education have to deal with. Furthermore, their adaptation in the school environment and inclusion in the teaching staff. But also coping with the problems during the first years of the teaching profession. Another goal will be to find out how they solve problems and how they deal with them. Whether they have been assigned an introductory teacher and whether they work with him. The theoretical part of the work clarifies the issues associated with the performance of the teaching profession, characterizes the preparation of the future teacher for the performance of the profession, further clarifies the term beginning teacher and introducing teacher. Stravovací návyky učitelů středních odborných škol

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the eating habits of some teachers at selected secondary schools in the Zlín Region, Czech Republic. The thesis describes nutritional components that are vital for the functioning of the human body in adulthood. It makes specific recommendations for teachers, on nutrition as well as fluid intake, which is important for prevention of vocal difficulties. The thesis also identifies factors that influence a teacher’s choice of food. The end of the theoretical part is devoted to the teaching profession, the stress of which influences nutrition, and it deals with diseases, which are associated with this issue. It makes use of analysis, comparison and a synthesis of information gathered from contemporary specialized publications on nutrition and nutritional habits as methods for the theoretical part. The practical part describes and evaluates a questionnaire focused on the eating habits of teachers at selected secondary school in the Zlín Region. The questionnaire also looks into the alimentation regularity and fluid intake of teachers during their working hours, including in school canteen. The results of the questionnaire are described and presented in charts and graphs.
