Annotation: This thesis deals with dependency behaviour and internet addiction among youth between the age of 11 to 15. It is very comnon to use internet as source of information as much as source of fun among this popullation. But the modern problem with internet abuse is definitely recent uprise of numerous social networks. They became an essential part of common teenager's life where everyone can be anyone. The communication has no rules, it is easier and smiley faces are better to express emotions than do it in person. All these things are tempting for young people and make them to sign up to these networks and share thein private lives with almost the whole world. Not that having a profile like this is something wrong, but does it really have to be the main part how to communicate with friends and make new ones? This thesis is supposed to show whether it is really so common for teenagers to use social networks or not. Networks of Actors of Regional Development in Local Action Group Pošumaví

The thesis deals with actors'network problems of regional development in the Local Action Group Pošumaví (LAG). The aim is to assess the functioning of networks within the Local Action Group Pošumaví focusing on the existence of networks, their activity and permeability and the way and intensity of involvement of the regional development actors in those networks. In the context of the institutional framework conditions of the local action groups a questionnaire survey together with guided interviews with actors LAG were analyzed. The results show that in the current programming period, the Local Action Group Pošumaví formed the network, but the cooperation is not very intensive. On the other hand, part of the actors of the regional development want to be more involved in LAG in the future, which can lead to extending and deepening of the existing cooperation.
Utilization of Facebook in studio Arven's marketing

Title: Utilization of Facebook in studio Arven's marketing Objectives: The aim of this work is to create a facebook fan page for Power Plate studio Arven in Čelákovice. The facebook fan page was created on the basis of survey. Then the effectiveness of the page was evaluated. Methods: In this work have been taken both quantitative and qualitative methods. The quantitative method was applied in survey among existing clients of studio Arven and facebook fans of fitness clubs. Qualitative method was used during structured interviews. The facebook page was monitored. Results: It was found that the facebook page serves as a presentation for companies. However, fans of the facebook pages do not follow the pages very often. The use of new media in terms of ritual focusing on social networks

The aim of the thesis "The use of new media in terms of ritual focusing on social networks" is to show how elements of ritual communication are reflected in behavior of users of social networks. The text is divided into five chapters which include more specific focused subchapters. After the short introduction the chapter devoted attention to the issue of new media, to their nature, to their popularity and to the circumstances of their onset follows. The second chapter deals with a ritual and its various meanings and with ritual communication. Theme of the third chapter are social networks that are typical representatives of communication lines in new media. The work is more closely focused on three major social networks, whose popularity is currently the largest, namely Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Spolužáci.cz. The fourth chapter consists mainly of a summary of results of the qualitative research which was realized for the purpose of this work and which should demonstrate whether and how ritualization occurs in communication of users of described social networks. Photography and new media - changes in visual narrative approach.

The work deals with the changes that brought the photos to new media. In summary provides insight into history of first attempts in this field to the invention and development of digital camera. It also deals with the presentation of photographs at the time of new media. It especially pays attention to the Internet, which greatly contributed to the mass dissemination of images of both professional photographers and the amateur. It points out that availability of digital cameras and the Internet are the main cause of changes in both taking and presentation. It analyzes different ways of online presentations from older like personal websites and blogs, to the latest - social networks. The social networks are in middle of interest, as they spread through photographs recorded a large increase and the largest deviation from professional presentations, such as galleries. The last part deals with examples of journalistic practice. Weekly Respekt serves as an example of media that the most brief form, ie black and white newspaper, developed to color magazine and websites. Tereza Vondráková Bachelor thesis: Media Policy of Council of Europe Focusing on the New Media - Abstract Bachelor thesis "Media Policy of Council of Europe Focusing on the New Media" summarizes all crucial documents concerning new media that have been adopted by Council of Europe. Council of Europe's main concern is protection and promotion of human rights and freedoms. One of its tasks is a surveillance of media and its evolution. Permanent technological development has major influence on media landscape and leads to new communication platforms. Council of Europe decided to examine those platforms to decide whether they can be included among other media. And therefore if they could have the same responsibilities and rights as the traditional media. Citizen photojournalism - amateurs as photoreporters

The bachelor thesis Citizen Photojournalism - Amateurs as Photoreporters deals with increasing citizen participation in creating visual media content which has seen big growth over the last decade thanks to development of communications and information technology. The thesis is divided into three separate parts. The first part focuses on theoretical definition of citizen journalism and photojournalism phenomena. It shows how big impact the new technologies have on journalism amateurisation and also remarks on relationship between amateurs interfering with media and professionals. Second part of the bachelor thesis describes social networks and internet services that contributed to expansion of visual journalism by enabling photo sharing and publishing. Some examples of these include Flickr, Twitter or photography agency Demotix. Third part looks into concrete examples of amateur photos making their way into media as a full-fledged news material - for example London 2005 terrorist attacks or Arab Spring in 2011. Diploma thesis Social networks and election to Chamber of Deputies in year 2010 covers activities of political parties on internet social networks such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. The thesis also covers some civic engagements, which intervened electoral campaign and later influenced people decision in election to the Parliament of Czech republic. The first part describes how political parties, which has entered the Chamber of Deputies, used potential of social networks in campaign and how their activities differed from party to party and also by social networks. The thesis discovers how political parties saw campaign on social networks and which forms of promotion they used. Second part is about activities of civic engagements on social networks and about their influence on results of the election. Diploma thesis discovers if their success depended on social networks. In the last part of the thesis, a research was made on a group of users of social networks. It analysed the influence of political parties' campaigns on social networks and also civic engagements on the results of this parliamentary election.

The project is focused on the campaign of Barack Obama, it is to describe and analyse the utilization of websites, online social networks and other subjects. A part of this bachelor thesis is to compare methods of Czech and American campaigns with the elections to the House of Represantatives in May of 2010.

Diploma thesis "Social Network Facebook in News: Comparison of Space Dedicated to Social Network Facebook and its Content in Czech Media in the Years 2009 and 2011", is dedicated to the way of use and citation of social network Facebook in the selected news media. The paper summarizes the establishment and strengthening of online media, particularly the phenomenon of social networks on the example of social network Facebook, and their influence on the transformation of the media sector, news values and new resources. In analyzing the texts containing the word Facebook in selected periods of 2009 and 2011 the thesis compares the frequency of posts mentioning the term Facebook in the dailies Blesk, Hospodářské noviny and MF Dnes and on the news sites Aktuálně.cz and iDNES.cz. According to the results of the analysis thesis describes the work and changes of work with social network Facebook in the Czech media, including its use as a news source, it evaluates the change of Facebook's status in society Facebook and it mentions the relationship between the posts containing reference to the Facebook and news values. Survey conducted by agency My.cz focused on Czech journalists' approach to social networks including practical use of social networks as news sources is part of the diploma thesis.
