Tereza Vondráková Bakalářká práce: Mediální politika Rady Evropy ve vztahu k novým médiím - Abstrakt Bakalářská práce s názvem "Mediální politika Rady Evropy ve vztahu k novým médiím" shrnuje všechny zásadní dokumenty a aktivity, které tato mezinárodní organizace k dané problematice přijala. Rada Evropy je instituce s mnohaletou tradicí a zaměřuje se především na ochranu lidských práv a svobod. Jedním z úkolů Rady Evropy je i sledování médií a jejich vývoje a proměn. Neustálý technologický vývoj s sebou přináší i nové formy komunikace na poli internetu a Rada Evropy se rozhodla zkoumat, zda je možné tyto platformy považovat za média. Pokud by tomu tak bylo, vztahovaly by se na tato média povinnosti a práva, jež Rada Evropy zaručuje tradičním médiím především v Evropské úmluvě o lidských právech. Práce se nejprve zabývá definováním Rady Evropy a jejího postavení na mezinárodním poli. Podstatná část bakalářské práce je věnována vymezení pojmů nová média a sociální sítě, pro které zatím neexistuje žádná ustálená definice. Druhá část práce je věnována popisu mediální politiky Rady Evropy od jejího počátku až do současnosti s důrazem na aktivity, které Rada Evropa konala v oblasti internetu a nových médií. Na tyto oblasti se zaměřuje poslední a nejstěžejnější část bakalářské práce. Zde jsou postupně analyzovány... Tereza Vondráková Bachelor thesis: Media Policy of Council of Europe Focusing on the New Media - Abstract Bachelor thesis "Media Policy of Council of Europe Focusing on the New Media" summarizes all crucial documents concerning new media that have been adopted by Council of Europe. Council of Europe's main concern is protection and promotion of human rights and freedoms. One of its tasks is a surveillance of media and its evolution. Permanent technological development has major influence on media landscape and leads to new communication platforms. Council of Europe decided to examine those platforms to decide whether they can be included among other media. And therefore if they could have the same responsibilities and rights as the traditional media. Bachelor thesis focuses on description of Council of Europe and its status as an international organization. First part of the thesis addresses the explanation of terms new media and social networks. Second part of the thesis describes media policy of Council of Europe from its very beginning and emphasizes interesting historical events concerning new media.
