Specification of the care for climate at the 3th grade of the primary school

TITLE: Specification of the care for climate at the 3th grade of the primary school SUMMARY: The objective of this diploma work was to research whether alternating of three and more teachers might have a negative impact on the classroom climate. The theoretical part provides a definition of personality characteristics of pupils in the third grade of primary school with respect to the management of classroom climate. I analyse the factors influencing the classroom climate such as family influence, pupils' groups and particularly personalities of teachers, their management and organisationof teaching, further their communication style, evaluation and cooperation among teachers. The practical part focuses on the research of the classroom climate using the method My Class Inventory (MCI). Another applied method is interviewing class teachers. The practical part is completed with a questionnaire filled out by pupils. The results of the research confirmed the change of the classroom climate in the third grade where three and more teachers alternate. These changes are manifested especially by more frictions and higher competitiveness. Drama in education as promoting of social climate of class focused on cooperation with pupils

The diploma thesis is focused on development of cooperative skills within one selected class of elementary school, which lead to improved climate class. To meet the objektive of choosing tools drama education, its methods and exercises. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is based on psychological content, it characterized by cooperation, it deals with the cooperative learning and the role of the teacher. It justifies need to develop cooperation between pupils. The drama in education discussed in conjunction with cooperation and describes its methods and exercises. The practical part is used quality research for monitoring, analyzing, implementing and reflecting cooperation in third grade of elementary schools. This thesis seeks to use dramatic methods as tools for the development of cooperative skills of pupils.
Effect of the Adaptation Course and Form Teacher Lessons on the Climate in the Sixth Class in Lower Secondary School

This thesis examines change of classroom climate in lower secondary school. In the theoretical part, issues of classroom climate, experiential pedagogy, adaptation courses and form teacher lessons are described from the perspective of different authors. The thesis introduces basic approaches for diagnosing classroom climate. It also gives instructions for management of form teacher lessons. B-3 questionnaire determines the current classroom climate and subsequent effects of the adaptation course among the respondents. Form teacher lessons are reported in this thesis, whose effect is also measured by the B-3 questionnaire in a longer period of the adaptation course. The results of the questionnaire investigation point to the need for regular form teacher lessons, in which the formation of a friendly climate in the classroom is realized.

The Master thesis depicts a social climate in a classroom in Liberec region. The thesis is divided into two larger topic parts - theoretical part where basic terminology connected to the topic is explained and practical part. Theoretical findings introduce issues of classroom climate which partially originates from a larger superior topic of a school climate. The aim of the first part is to introduce each involved party that influences classroom climate daily and engages in measuring the climate. It answers why is important to watch and measure this phenomenon at school. The second part of the thesis describes practical usage of findings from the theoretical part. It deals with a quality research and comparison of results at selected primary schools in Liberec region. It examines differences which appear in a particular classroom in relation to school culture. Research results serve to realization of classroom climate at each school. The research was led in the sixth grades of each school and standardised questionnaire was used to measure the classroom climate MCI. Classrooms' psychosocial climate in the secondary schools of different focus

Master's thesis "Classrooms' psychosocial chmate in the secondary schools of different focus" is divided into the theoretical part and the practical part. In the theoretical part the main focus is dedicated to an explanation of the basic terms concerning the theme followed by the analysis of its parts. This is mainly an analysis of classroom development, stages, types of class climate and mapping the factors that contribute to create the climate in the class including gender difference. The key attitudes towards the class climate research, the exploratory method which has been used in the practical part also play an important role in the theoretical part. The empirical part focuses on diagnosis of classrooms'climate at selected secondary schools of different focus in the region Klatovy and summarizes the results received by quantitative method through selected standardized questionnaire KLIT. The aim of this part is firstly to compare school climate in the secondary schools of different focus including evaluation of stated hypothesis in the research and secondly interpret the discovered information.
Development of self-assessment skills of pupils in 1st and 2nd year of primary school

This graduation thesis has a theoretical and an exploratory character. The theoretical part is focused on the knowledge in the field of school evaluation and self- assessment of pupils. It defines the basic concepts, types, forms and functions of evaluation and self-assessment. The main aim is to define ways and various strategies to develop self-assessment skills of children in the beginning of primary school. The research questions and methods of investigation are formulated in the theoretical part. It presents results of long-term research about development of self- assessment skills of children from the beginning of 1st grade to the end of the first half of 2nd grade. One of the most significant parts of the research is devoted to specific strategies of the teacher, which positively affect the development of self- assessment skills of pupils, as well as involving parents in this process during a common consultation of teacher, student and parent.
Classroom's climate in alternative and traditional school

The climate of the class in a conventional and in an alternative basic school is the main topic of this master thesis. The master thesis is divided into two parts, the first part is theoretical and the second one practical. It the theoretical part the main focus is dedicated to an explanation of the terms concerning the theme. The thesis deals with the methods of diagnostics in a class climate. The second part, the practical one, consists of the research held in the school classes of the conventional and alternative type. The research is considered to be a quantitative analysis and its research instrument is a questionnaire. The practical part is intended as a comparison between the climate in the both types of schools. The main goal of the master thesis is firstly to compare school climate in the alternative and conventional school. Secondly the master thesis should interpret the discovered information.
Social status of the integrated student with Asperger syndrome in the class

The goal of this diploma thesis is to map the issue of social integration of students with Asperger syndrome into a regular class of elementary school. The theoretical part is based on analysis of publications related to the topic. It deals with the description of the Asperger syndrome diagnosis and its symptoms, the concept of integration, mainly the integration of a student with Asperger syndrome, and the issue of classroom climate and the possibilities of its diagnostics and development. The practical part is based on the theoretical part. In it, the author focuses on the analysis of social status of integrated students with Asperger syndrome. Sociometrical techniques are combined with projective method and both are supplemented with a questionnaire for teachers and qualitative methods, primarily interviews with teachers and observation in class. Psychological aspects of a safe classroom climate

The theme of this bachelor thesis is a safe classroom climate. The first part provides a brief view on the complex issue of classroom climate and the second part focuses on this issue from the perspective of psychological aspects of a safe classroom climate. Psychological aspects are divided into developmental, personality and social-psychological. Part of the thesis is also a research project (a correlation study), which aims to determine the relationship between classroom climate and selected psychological characteristic - self-efficacy.
