This final bachelor thesis, A Beginning Teacher at Elementary Art School, is focused on admitting, introducing and integrating teachers into a work process at elementary art school. The aim of the thesis is to find out a way that new, beginning teachers are admitted and integrated into a process at the elementary art school and how they are satisfied with school management's approach in this field. Specifically, the thesis provides answers to where teachers learn about vacant positions. What caused them the most problems and what they lacked in entering into employment. How they get a feedback on their work. Whether they are willing to work beyond their duties. And also what they appreciate about the school director. This bachelor thesis is intended to serve as a feedback and a tool for elementary art school directors when working with beginning teachers. It offers an overview and mapping of the current situation at elementary art schools in stated fields.

TITLE: The first two years of the beginning teacher AUTHOR: Iveta Fukalová DEPARTMENT: School Management Center SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Jan Voda, PhD. ABSTRACT: This final thesis focuses on introducing the teachers-beginners to the teaching practice in the kindergartens. It is based on the requirements on a teacher-beginner, an introductory teacher and the headmaster of the school, their common goals and the ways of co-operation. It describes competences of the roles of both the teachers, conditions for the adjustment to the new environment, the way of communication and a social role in the working team of the kindergarten. It concentrates on a various level of care devoted to the beginners, often inadequate and demotivating, on a positive attitude of the headmaster and selecting the convenient introductory teacher. In the practical part of the thesis, results of a survey are introduced. The survey focuses on the ideas of teachers-beginners, the feedback of experienced teachers and the views of headmasters on the given problem. Beginning teacher from the point of view of daeling with professional qualities

The thesis "Beginning teacher from the point of view of dealing with professional qualities" reacts to the actual theme of seeking professional competencies of teachers and of suitable evaluation methods. It focuses on the work of beginning teachers and their professional quality and on further incentives for their professional growth. At the same time identifies what helps novice teachers during the first years of teaching activities. In the theoretical part knowledge and opinions of specialists are summarized and organized into three chapters. The experts were selected according to themes: teacher quality, professional competence, teaching profession, training of teachers and their support in practice. The practical part presents qualitative research which through the research methods (questionnaire, interview, data analysis, case study) describes the reality of beginning teachers work in primary school. The research try to answer the question: How teachers in the early years of practice manage its activities to evaluate their professional quality, what are dealing with and what helps them to be a good teacher. The readiness of beginning teachers in primary school to solve disciplinary problems in the class.

The thesis is focused on exploration of beginning teacher in primary school, and in terms of its readiness for a meeting with pupils' discipline problems. The aim of the thesis is to determine the level of readiness of beginning teachers in primary schools to solve disciplinary problems in the class. The other goal is to consult the undergraduate training of beginning teachers, and answer the question to what extent they are prepared for disciplinary problems in practice by the college. Another goal is to determine the real readiness of beginning teachers to solve problematic behavior of pupils, and in terms of real and outlined cases.
Social skills of teachers and possibilities of their development orientated on beginning teachers

This thesis "Social skills of teachers and possibilities of their development, orientated on beginning teachers" looks into posibility of utilization of videotraining of interactions method (VTI) for development of social skills in teachers-beginners. Theoretical part focuses on analysis of current state in pre- and postgraduated education, its oriented on their personality and social skills, mainly on communication skills. Practical part deals with presence of development of social skills in beginning teachers. Effect of VTI of the development is tested. This method is prepared for this goal. Collected data comes from observation of 14 teachers and this data are analyzed by programm V.I.P. The outcome is a fact that VTI method has significant influence on global development of teacher's social skills. VTI has positive influence in field "activation of students" (mainly affirmative attachement and paraphrasing students" statements).

This diploma thesis deals with novice primary teachers' interaction with pupils. The aim of the thesis is to find out which strategies prevent lack of discipline and to compare methods of novice teachers with experienced teachers. It also deals with classroom management and teachers' ethics.

Diploma thesis addresses the issue of initial training of beginning teachers of primary school in Czech schools. Defines the requirements for successful integration of new employees, as well as suggesting possible standard procedures, methods and assesses the possibility of their use in the school environment. It describes the role of supervising teacher and the meaning of its existence. The task of the practical part is to find out with which kinds of educational activities beginning teachers have problems. In interviews with experienced teachers, we tried to clarify whether at the time of their beginnings had the same problems as current teachers and we wonder on what skills and knowledge should be students of faculties of education trained better. Teacher the beginner

My Diploma Thesis "Newly qualified teachers" is devoted to new teachers with less than 3 years of teaching experience after they graduated from accredited college and received a degree as a teacher. My focus is on the teachers in elementary schools. The goal of the theoretical part of my thesis is to collect technical information, opinions, ideas and knowledge from experts in the teaching profession in general, to characterize the new teacher's personality. In the few chapters I ponder possible fears, concerns, weaknesses and needs of the new teachers, and I also mention problematic field of the evaluation and self assessment of a new teacher. The content of the practical part of my thesis is exploratory inquiry using a method of survey. The goal of the questions and answers is to find out if the orientation of new teachers in elementary schools is functioning well with prepared orientation plan, and to identify and map out the problem areas that the new, inexperienced teachers feel in the beginning of their teaching carrier, and subsequently to detect and identify the new teachers' needs.
