Progressive impact of creative intonation on the pupil's musical appreciation development

The diploma thesis is divided into two parts. The first part summarizes the theoretical knowledge of musical-psychological categories, which also includes musicality. The next chapter of the theoretical part is also focused on this theme. The last chapter is creativity and its characteristics and specifics in use in primary school. In the practical part was used the method of parallel group technique. Twenty two pupils took part in the experimental teaching and the same number of pupils represented the control group. The respondents were from two 4th grade classes of primary school. Moreover, in the practical part there is an analysis of the results of empirical research, which was realized by collective screening of musicality. Research has shown that pupils developed through creative intonation achieve better musicality than pupils trained in conventional music education. Analisis of physical activities of children at primary school in South Bohemia

This thesis deals with the analysis of physical activities of children at primary school in South Bohemia. It finds out the conditions for teaching physical education, content to teaching, find out if pupils take the acquired knowledge or skill from school and evaluate popularity of pupils to exercise physical activity in their leisure. This finding was done in form three questionnaires for directors of primary school, teachers of physical education and their pupils. The results of this thesis could help to all future and present teachers of physical education.
Teacher Assistant at a primary school

This master thesis deals with the subject of the first-grade primary school teaching assistants. It seeks the answers on following questions: what the social and cultural background of teaching assistants is; what their key motivation for is applying for this role; what their expectations before were entering the profession; what their motivation for continuing the profession is. In this master thesis, I place the emphasis on uncovering the previous job and life experiences of teaching assistants as well as how these past experiences affect their current job position. The answers for these questions are provided by qualitative and quantitative research which is based mostly on semi-structured interviews with teaching assistants from the elementary school in Prague, district 10. From the outcome of these interviews, the questionnaire was made, which was subsequently sent to assistant teachers from various parts of Czech Republic. Questionnaires were used mostly for confirmation and completion of information acquired from semi-structured interviews. This master thesis confirms that assistant teachers get involved in their profession for various reasons and have diverse previous work and life experiences. Methods and Techniques of Drama in Education in the Lessons of Czech Language at the 3rd Grade of Primary School.

The aim of this thesis is to discover the possibilities Drama in Education can bring into the teaching of Czech Language in the third year of Primary Schools. The central hypothesis is whether Drama is a suitable tool for pupil instruction and what is the scale of methods and techniques in Drama in Education in the third year in Primary Schools. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical section. In the theoretical part, both Czech Language and Drama in Education are reflected on in the framework of the curriculum of Primary Schools, including their characteristics and goals and their conformity with the National Curriculum. This section is also dedicated to the methods and the mutual interconnectedness of both disciplines. Further, the specifics of a primary school student are provided. The practical part is divided into parts according to the days of the week. In each day, a description of a specific Czech Language lesson in the third year is provided. In the description, the methods and techniques of Drama in Education are included. Each lesson consists also of the responses of the students as they gave them throughout the teaching bloc. All the lessons are concluded with a final reflection, specifying the highs and the lows of the lesson. Here, the hypothesis is being discussed....
Work out of choosen ethical topics from the book Treasure Under the Snow through the Structured Drama.

In my thesis I am covering the chosen ethical topics from the book Treasures of the Snow using the structured drama. The aim of this thesis was to identify if pupils could find a solution that would prevent the unethical behaviour based on their experience from the book? The paper is divided into theoretical and practical sections, the practical section is based off the conclusion made in theoretical one. The first part of the thesis focuses on the following chosen subjects; Ethics, Drama in Education, Czech language and literature which are covered in the Framework education programme for elementary education and it is also analysing how these subjects fit into the School educational programme within Primary School Kunratice (Commutation - Learning - Cooperation), where the practical research was performed with the children from 5th grade. These subjects merge together in a created auctorial structured drama "About a friendship that overcame various difficulties", which serves as a tool for the research. Ambiguity in teaching historical topics at primary school

The thesis focuses on the ambiguity in teaching historical topics at ISCED 1 level of education, portraying a teaching method aimed at developing pupils' ability to perceive and reflect upon the ambiguity in teaching history. This ambiguity is demonstrated on historical events concerning Jan Hus. The objective is to develop a thematic unit on ambiguity of approach to historical facts, then to reflect upon the implementation and to outline suggestions for further work. In the beginning the thesis shows the importance of studying history, the changes to teaching the subject in elementary schools throughout time, the concept of historical thinking, memory and multiperspectivity. The practical part documents and reflects upon a process, that was implemented with groups of elementary school pupils. Than analyszs and interprets pupils' outputs. The conclusion contains modifications to the unit, suggested in such a way, that they entice the students' capabilities to interpret matter and to form an argument, as well as their historical thinking and their ability to reflect upon the ambiguity of teaching history, as much as possible.
