Drama in Education as the Way to Understanding Crurial Social Topics.

Diploma work is intented on multicultural edication, mainly on integrating a pupil with a different first language to the environment of a primary school, using the methods and techniques of Drama in Education. The technical part deals with Drama in education and structured drama. Next it deals with multicultural upbringing and its enforcing in the educational system, a pupil with a different mother tongue and his accepting and integrating in his new class. In the practical part I try to approach the complexity of a newly moved in pupil who has a different language to a new class using structured drama. Methods and Techniques of Drama in Education in the Lessons of Czech Language at the 3rd Grade of Primary School.

The aim of this thesis is to discover the possibilities Drama in Education can bring into the teaching of Czech Language in the third year of Primary Schools. The central hypothesis is whether Drama is a suitable tool for pupil instruction and what is the scale of methods and techniques in Drama in Education in the third year in Primary Schools. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical section. In the theoretical part, both Czech Language and Drama in Education are reflected on in the framework of the curriculum of Primary Schools, including their characteristics and goals and their conformity with the National Curriculum. This section is also dedicated to the methods and the mutual interconnectedness of both disciplines. Further, the specifics of a primary school student are provided. The practical part is divided into parts according to the days of the week. In each day, a description of a specific Czech Language lesson in the third year is provided. In the description, the methods and techniques of Drama in Education are included. Each lesson consists also of the responses of the students as they gave them throughout the teaching bloc. All the lessons are concluded with a final reflection, specifying the highs and the lows of the lesson. Here, the hypothesis is being discussed....
The elements of Drama in Education in the lessons World of Human

In this diploma thesis is focus on Drama in Education, which is used mainly in the lessons of the World of Human with overlap into other education. The topic of the diploma thesis was to improve the relations between pupils and thus to influence the climate in the classroom. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part focus on the content and specific objectives of Drama in Education. It describes in more details the methods and techniques of Drama in Education. In the practical part, is presented a methodical proposal of lessons for students of the 2nd grade of primary school. Each lesson consists of three parts - planning of a lesson, implementation of topic and subsequent reflection. The first topic relates to friendship, the second one relates to class climate, the third is about hurting and the fourth is about bragging. In the lessons plans are used and tried several drama education methods and techniques, which could give the answer to research question. In the empirical part are present two questionnaires. The first questionnaire was given to pupils before the drama lessons and the second questionnaire after the completion of all four lessons. Work out of choosen ethical topics from the book Treasure Under the Snow through the Structured Drama.

In my thesis I am covering the chosen ethical topics from the book Treasures of the Snow using the structured drama. The aim of this thesis was to identify if pupils could find a solution that would prevent the unethical behaviour based on their experience from the book? The paper is divided into theoretical and practical sections, the practical section is based off the conclusion made in theoretical one. The first part of the thesis focuses on the following chosen subjects; Ethics, Drama in Education, Czech language and literature which are covered in the Framework education programme for elementary education and it is also analysing how these subjects fit into the School educational programme within Primary School Kunratice (Commutation - Learning - Cooperation), where the practical research was performed with the children from 5th grade. These subjects merge together in a created auctorial structured drama "About a friendship that overcame various difficulties", which serves as a tool for the research. Create the methodic of correct posture and evaluating it during the drama lessons within the school educational plan.

The diploma thesis "Development of the methodology of correct posture and its verification in drama lessons within the school educational program" connects the correct posture with the teaching of dramatic education. In the area of posture, however, it is not as a theoretical discourse of what is known to every teacher, as is proved by this quote dating back over four decades: "The positive influence of proper body posture on healthy growth and development of all organs and the development of their functions is stated by medical literature and confirmed by everyday experience." The aim of the thesis is to examine the problems through practice, in particular by connecting with the already established subject and also the way of teaching in other subjects - dramatic education. The theoretical part is divided into two areas: correct posture and dramatic education. Both of them are first defined and put into context, then I deal with selected aspects that are relevant to this work. In the practical part I define the circumstances and conditions of creation and verification of the methodology of correct posture verified in drama lessons. Drama education in primary prevention programs

The thesis deals with the preventive programs that would possibly include some methods used in drama education. Its goal is to survey the possibilities that come out of such interconnection. The main task of the thesis is weather these methods are suitable to be implemented in such type of educational work with children. The theoretical part of the thesis maps both forms of education and their interaction. The practical part is divided into different lessons that discuss certain issues. The issues are: Bullying, Attitude to old age and The virtual world. All the issues are, in the introduction, based on the theoretical part. The following are authorial lessons of drama education aimed at particular issues and evaluation of the main study in certain groups: Is drama education able to form socially valuable stances and values? In conclusion, there are answered all the explorative questions: Are the proposed blocs functional and feasible? Are the drama- educational activities used in lessons for students demanding? Is this form of educational programs gripping for pupils of 4th to 5th class? During the research was used not only exploration based on questionnaires, but also the study of certain groups. Irena Hanyš Holemá, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: This diploma thesis deals with the use of drama education in classes of literary education in the 2nd grade of elementary school. It compares two second classes at elementary school to understanding the main idea in fairy tales through dramatic education and the method of reading with questions. The theoretical part is focused on drama education, its methods, techniques, preparátory games and exercises, Framework Educational Program and literary education. The basis of the practical part was the realization of 5 lessons in dramatic education and 5 lessons of literary education in two second classes on 5 fairy tales with lessons. After 14 days, a test was conducted to determine whether dramatic education contributed in literary classes to improving and understanding the substance.
