Use of adventurously oriented games in the teaching of physical education in the gym at the second grade of elementary school

This diploma thesis deals with the use of adventurously oriented games in teaching of physical education in the gym at the second grade of elementary school. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is devoted to the child's personality in middle school age in terms of physical, motoric, mental and psychomotor. It also describes psychomotorics, psychomotor game, adventure education, adventurously oriented games, tools and utensils and motivation. In the practical part I examined the use of adventurously oriented games in physical education through the questionnaire and my own practice. The results have been recorded into graphs and tables. Each question was analyzed in the discussions, evaluated and I suggested possible solutions to identified problems. I replied at predetermined hypothesis and stated the results in the conclusion (see Chapter 3 of 5).

Title: Student formative class evaluation Objectives: The master's thesis puts into concept a formative evaluation of students' teaching. It deals with its use in physical education, analyzes the contents of selected research papers from this area. Methods: The methods of analysis, comparison, induction, deduction and synthesis of collected knowledge are used. From a methodological point of view the master's thesis can be described as the survey work containing the elements of comparison. Results: There is still a strong emphasis on summative evaluation rather than on formative evaluation. However, among experts, there is a consensus that formative evaluation is more important. Usable methods of formative evaluation have been found, sorted, compared and described with particular attention paid to the applications in physical education. Conclusions: Formative evaluation of students' teaching is a valuable innovation of the educational process. The research of possibilities of this type of students' participation is only at the beginning. Handball in Physical Education for students of the 2nd grate of primary school

SUMMARY: This thesis deals with teaching handball at secondary schools. Geographically it focuses on districts of Prague and Central Bohemia. The research methods used in the thesis are questionnaire, experimentation and observation. The paper monitors inclusion of handball in physical education classes at secondary schools. It inquires the popularity of handball between teachers and pupils compared with other sport games. It studies what material and space conditions schools have at their disposal for physical education classes and whether these conditions are sufficient for handball practice. The paper also includes the information about practice methods of the basic player skills and a conception of teaching handball in ten lessons.

Title: Relationships between physical education, sport and pupils at the elementary schools Aims: The master thesis deals with social survey at elementary school. The aims are to find out what relation have children to the physical education at elementary school in Prague 9 and how are they aware of the sport in general. Methods: In the master thesis was applied method of written questionnaire a method of colloquy The data were obtained from the written questionnaires and the data were verify by personal colloquy . The data were processed by statistical methods then and the results were made by graphs and by frequency distribution tables. Results: Results of a written questionnaire showed that the sport over twenty years has changed, but football has traditionally remained in the first place. Outdoor Activities at secondary schools in Mladá Boleslav from the view of students

Title: Outdoor activities in selected secondary schools in Mladá Boleslav Aim: The aim was to create a comprehensive summary of sport courses organized by secondary schools as a part of compulsory education and to find out students' true opinion of these courses, using the feedback based on executed activities. Method: The datas were collected using interviews and checklists which contained opened,closed and scaled questions. These datas were interpreted considering graphs and led into conclusions. Results: Sport courses'structure is mostly concieved in way that educatiors don't care about preparation properly, they don't take advantage of natural environment but students showed appreciation to running of courses, though. Students' experience with outdoor activities in selected secondary schools in Most district

Title: Students' experience with outdoor activities in selected secondary schools in Most district. Aim: The aim of my master thesis was to survey and discover students' experience with outdoor acitivities and their possible interest in these acitivities at selected high schools in Most district. Method: All needed data were collected by questionnaires. Questionnaires were delivered to selected high schools in the Most district. From the questionnaires we were able to determine if students had experience with outdoor activities and which activities they want to try. Obtained data were statistically processed in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word and interpreted in graphical and word form. Results: We have found that students generally have a high interest in outdoor activities. The activity which students are most interested in is paintball. Students at school recieve experience with outdoor activities especially in courses, especially in traditional activities, such as various types of turistika, skiing and camping. After previous experience students want to repeat cycling, camping and downhill skiing. Without previous experience most students want to try zorbing (aquazorbing), paintball and driving four-wheelers (ATV). A positive finding was the fact that students want to devote their free time...

Title: Monitoring of influence of individual segments of a teaching unit of physical education on fitness of girls from seventh grade of elementary school. Aim: The aim of the empirical part is to monitor the proportional representation of the motoric activities during the time given in the lessons of physical education of the seventh grade girls, and along with the chosen methods of testing of these individuals, to prove or disprove possible influence of the composition of the P.E. lessons on the chosen segments of their fitness. Methods: Various methods were used for testing the considered sample. These were the standardized motoric tests (intense forward bend when sitting, place-jump with legs together, endurance in a pull-up, hand grip) which investigate the chosen segments of the fitness. Another method used was the bioimpedance which measures the parameters of body composition. The data were recollected quantitatively and the results were also processed quantitatively by means of statistic parameters, such as arithmetic mean, variation span and determinative deviation. Title: Analysis of high school students' interests in physical education Objectives: Purpose of my bachelor thesis is to establish degree of high school students' interest in physical education specially in including gymnastics in its program. Used methods: In my bachelor thesis I will use questioning method and statistical evaluation of the questionnaire.
