Risk perception and attitudes towards risk of young scouts from European countries

Title: Risk perception and attitudes towards risk of young scouts from European countries. Objectives: The aim of the study was to find out differences of risk perception and attitudes towards risk between young scouts from European countries. Methods: The questionnaire was filled by 126 young scouts from 18 European countries. Asked scouts were in Rover and Rangers categories, aged 16 to 25. The research sample consisted of 66 men and 60 women. Questionnaires Risk orientation questionnaire were analysed by basic statistic methods like median and mean. Specific comparison was made by Pearson coefficient and factor analysis. The aim of their using was to compare parts of the questionnaire (sex, countries, similarity of answers). For some comparison were chosen only countries with more respondents (≥ 9). Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, and Denmark were joined up to one category Scandinavia. Results: There are no significant results shown by mean and median for countries with respondents (≥ 9). Small variances were qualified only for the Czech Republic, Germany and Portugal. Freestyle BMX and olympic games

Tittle: Freestyle BMX and Summer Olympic Games Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is the analysis process of Freestyle BMX acceptance to the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics with evalution. In addition, this thesis defines the historical movement of the Freestyle BMX candacy and evaluate the conditions (criteria) setted by the International Olympic Committee for the adoption of new sports into the Olympic Games program. Methods: This thesis is a theoretical work that has a descriptive and analytical character so the main method is an analysis and study of documents, literature and web sources. The information was analyzed and comprehensively processed. Results: Results indicate that Freestyle BMX didn't satisfy all the criteria for acceptance of a new sport into the Olympic Games program. Freestyle BMX should not be accepted according to the criteria set into the Olympic Games program. Freestyle BMX was accepted on the basis of other facts according to this information. Title: Spa Jeseník as an opportunity for exercise activities for all generations Objectives: The objective of the study analyzes physical activities for all age category in the Spa Jeseník, identify visitors' goals and point to the potential of Jeseník Spa and the surrounding countryside Methods: There were used the methods of - evaluation of recreational tourism potential, questionnaire designed for visitors of the Jeseník Spa and SWOT analysis. Results: Evaluating the tourism potential in Spa Jeseník, ranks Jeseník area among the top localizations with high tourism potential, making the area an appropriate place for recreation. The conducted survey was taken by 110 participants. The survey showed that the spa is generally visited by older generations, and thus we can assume, that Spa Jeseník's main purpose is to treat its visitors' health issues. Younger generation, form only a small portion of visitors, which led to the creation of weekly programs, that could lead to an increase in traffic from younger generations. Title: Personality and motivation of outdoor activities instructor Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to find out the personality and motivation of outdoor activities instructor. We are discovering main motives for work as an instructor. Another aim is to characterize the personality of instructor and find the differences between men and women. Methods: In this thesis, we use a questionnaire method, the method of analysis and synthesis and the method of deduction. Questionnaire method is used in data acquisition. Analysis is used in background research and rest is used for the interpretation of results. Results: We found out that personality of instructor has above-average extroversion, average emotional stability, high level of agreeableness, above-average conscientiousness and very high level of intellect and imagination. In the field of motivation, we found out average level of achievement motivation, aspiration, work endurance, time orientation for future, resistibility against alacrity lost in critical situations and rising performance under light stress. Main motivators are social relationships in work, responsibility, sensation seeking and possibility of personal development within favorite activities. Title: The Impact of Nature on Human Health and Development Objectives: The main aim of this bachelor thesis was to do a detail research of foreign scientific articles concerning effects of nature on human health and development of individual. Methods: To do the desk research of academic literature, the databases of foreign scientific articles such as PubMed, Medline, Scopus have been used. Results: There are studies which focus on influence of environment on people and examine this influence on three levels: physiological, psychological and cognitive. Results show a potential effect of natural environment on people on all researched levels. Studies describe this effect of environment as restorative and is commonly explained by two major theories: 1) Attention Restoration Theory explains this restorative effect by regeneration of directed attention capacity. 2) Stress Recovery Theory explains the restorative effect like a positive influence on emotional state of an individual. This has a positive consequence in lowering stress levels of the individual and it also induces desired physiological processes which lead to relaxation, regeneration and release. Title: Rescue options in rope coures park Objectives: The goals of these bachelor essay are to describe the procedures and equipment used for rescue in rope parks. To create and test 5 rescue systems that are used to rescue by launching. Assessing these systems in terms of complexity of use, cost, severity of rescuer strength and rescue speed when using the system. Methods: The methods used during the creation of our work were the first to collect data from Czech and world literature and the experience of experts from areas that are concerned with rescue from a height. Competitions in orienteering sports v Czech Republic in 2014-2016

Name of the thesis: CompetitionsinOrienteeringSports in the Czech Republic in 2014-2016 Objective: The aim of this work is to provide complete information about sport in the field of orienteering, its forms, extent and number of competitors in the Czech Republic between 2014 and 2016. Methods: This work is processed through a literature research. The statistics include only races with more than 50 participants. In the framework of the research, races in these forms of orienteering were sought out: orienteering, mountain bike orienteering, trail orienteering, ski orienteering, rogaining, mountain orienteering, amateur radio direction finding, dogtrekking, adventure race, car orienteering and underwater orienteering. Results: The data found in this work reveal that between the years 2014 and 2016, orienteering sports show rising tendency in the Czech Republic. Analysis of climbing movments

Title: Climbing movement analysis Objecives: Determine the ratio between the static and the dynamic phase of climbing artifitial wall by video recordings analysis. Find out if climbier clipping each quickdraw is faster and more dynamic than clipping every second. Determine if the static phase is getting longer during climbing period. Methods: Research is made by video recordings analysis. Examined group is formed by 9 women. To obtain the static and the dynamic phases, time periods of hands holding and not holding wall grips are measured. Name: Flyboarding - methodology of teaching begininners Goals: The aim of this work is to compare ways of teaching a first flyboard lesson (American, Vietnam, Czech). The other objective is to create a picture diagram that will help instructors in teaching the teoretical part of the lesson. Methodology: In our thesis we used a methodology of analysis and used quantitative research. We apllied the methodology of analysis in parsing each teaching method on 150 beginners. In the period under consideration of the performance stage we evaluate the results accoarding to the Zapata teaching manual [40] and the criteria (1. the lenght of the theoretical and practical part of the lesson, 2. the effectiveness of teaching, 3. the use of aids in the theoretical part of the lesson, 4. the quality of teaching history, safety, how flyboarding works, take-off, 5. the begginer feedback after the lesson) Results: We found out that the most effective teaching methodology is the American lesson. Instructional video effectively prepared beginners for the practical part of the lesson. They were able to fly in less than five minutes. The Czech methodology provedto be standart. Climbing walls on Basic and Secondary school in South Bohemia

TITLE: Climbing walls on Basic and Secondary school in South Bohemia. OBJECTIVES: The aim of this thesis was to determine the number of elementary and secondary schools in South Bohemia, they're using wall climbing in physical education lesson. How many schools owns a climbing wall and what's they're material equipment. METHODS: This thesis is made up as a research with survey and questionnaire methods. First of all it was made the survey to determine, which schools are using wall climbing in physical education lesson. Then to this schools was sent the questionnaire with fourteen questions about the wall, lessons and material equipment. The data were processed in statistical program Excel and presented with the help of created graphs. RESULTS: This work shows actual state of using wall climbing in elementary and secondary schools. In South Bohemia makes this 16 schools of the total number of 378, witch represents a little bit more than 4%. Further it was investigated the method of inlusion this activity straight in to the physical education lessons and material equipment that each of this school owns.
