Employment of former fighters on the labor market

Title: Employment of former fighters on the labor market Objectives: The aim of the diploma thesis is to research the employment of former professional fighters instance disciplines onthe labor market and to create recommendations for their employment on the labor market after the end of their sports career. Methods: Primary data collection was needed to fulfill the main objective of the thesis. The research used a quantitative method, specifically a questionnaire survey. An electronic questionnaire, which was distributed among former professional fighters, then provided the obtained data necessary for the subsequent interpretation of the results. In addition, the obtainedresults were enrichedwith a qualitative method,inthe framework of which structured interviews were also conducted with former professional fighters. Results: Employees from the ranks of former fighters are a specific group of employees who often enter the labor market with insufficient experience. The obtained results show that ex-wrestlers are competitive on the labor market compared to other employees due to the distinctive and specific personality traits and competencies acquired within the sports career. Study on satisfaction of employees with XXX service

Title: Study on satisfaction of employees with XXX service Aims: The objective of this thesis is to verify the satisfaction of employees of an unnamed company with a program from XXX company. Based on the opinions and comments, a recommendation will be proposed as to whether this service should continue to be offered to the mentioned employees in its current content, in a modified form or not to be provided to them at all in the future. Methodology: Methodology: In this phesis, I applied quantitative research via collecting on- line forms and qualitative research based on a thorough interview. The form filled in by employees of the payroll departement was based on the SERVPERF method. In order to understand the activites of XXX company, the interview was held with a person from the company's close management. Results: The results of the employee survey are captured in a clear graphical form and along with the help of charts. The data analysis revealed that the employees are extremely satisfied with the programme from XXX. On the other hand, several shortcomings emerged which led later to recommendations for modification of the service and extension of the cooperation between the two entities. Awareness and Attitudes of UK FTVS Students to Discgolf

Title: Knowledge and attitudes of UK FTVS students to disc golf. Aim: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to find out what attitudes students of Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of Charles University have to disc golf and what awareness they have of the sport. Methods: The electronic survey method was used in this work. Through surveying FTVS UK students, data about their awareness of disc golf and their attitudes towards this sport were collected. Results: The research found that most students have a basic knowledge of disc golf. More detailed knowledge of this sport is less common. Students' attitudes are most often positive or neutral. Athletes' dual career in the Czech environment

Title: Athlete's Dual Career in Czech republic Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to suggest an appropriate arrangement for program of the Czech Olympic Committee "Dual Career" and for the development of dual career issues in the Czech Republic. Methods: There was used secondary and primary sources in this thesis. The secondary sources stem from publicly available sources such as official website, annual reports, or previous research. As a primary source was used qualitative method of in-depth interviews with Czech athletes Lucie Charvátová, Ondřej Synek and program' manager Kateřina Neumannová. There was also used SPLISS research to characterize the current situation. Results: It was founded out the Dual Career has a great potential. However, there are currently insufficient financial and human resources for reaching the bigger part of the focus group. There was suggested the arrangements for improving the issue of dual career in this thesis. Czech society needs the implementation of changes at the legislative level. Also, there was recommended to establish cooperation with more universities and organizations offering employment to athletes. Title: Possibilities of improving the service of a selected company Marketing research of customer satisfaction Objectives: The purpose of this diploma thesis is to create a proposal to improve the Surf Camp in Portugal in the upcoming season. The evaluation of current customers satisfaction was achieved through both the standpoint of its customers as well as its management. Methods: Both qualitative and quantitative methods were used to evaluate the customers satisfaction. The main research methods used were questionnaire surveys, an interview using the instruction with the company's owner and employ and internal data analysis. Results: The results of this diploma thesis are shown in graphs, tables and classification crosses. The data obtained helped to identify opportunities for improvement, and based on them, suggestions and recommendations were made to improve Surf Camp in Portugal. Comparison of Marketing Conceptions of Czech Davis Cup Team and Czech Fed Cup Team

Název: Komparace marketingových koncepcí českého Davis cupového a Fed cupového týmu Cíle: Hlavním cílem je porovnání dvou téměř stejných marketingových celků jako jsou akce českého Davis cupového a Fed cupového týmu, které mají podobnou marketingovou koncepci, avšak v některých bodech, především kvůli působení vnějších vlivů, se liší. Práce bude zaměřena hlavně na porovnání marketingových koncepcí, především marketingových mixů, s ohledem na cílové skupiny konečných zákazníků. Na základě porovnání obou marketingových koncepcí a vypracování SWOT analýzy budou zjištěny slabé a silné stránky, příležitosti a hrozby obou týmů, které budou srovnány ve SWOT maticích. V závěru budou navrženy možné kroky ke zlepšení stávající situace. Výsledky: Po důkladné popisné analýze, komparaci a vypracované SWOT analýze a díky vhodnosti použitých metod, budou navrženy konkrétní úpravy jednotlivých složek marketingového mixu i celkové koncepce vedoucí ke zlepšení hospodářských výsledků týmu i celé akce. Výsledkem nebudou pouze kroky ke zlepšení situace, ale i pomocí SWOT matice vyjádřené hlavní rozdíly mezi oběma týmy, které pomohou čtenářovi lépe proniknout do současné situace obou týmů. The first section coveres the literature findings which desribes brand, brand knowledge and brand image. Furthermore, a process of a marketing research is defined as a base to my own research. The second section analyzes Umbro brand, realization and evaluation of my own research of image Umbro brand. Title: Physical activity in students live in Prague and Tartu . Goals: The aim of the theses Physical activity in the live of students in Prague and Tartu is to learn about the sports conditions for students and comparison of possibilities in localities - student city Prague, Czech Republic and Tartu, Estonia. Furthermore will be analyzed the requirements of the students for their physical activity and for the local conditions for sports. The theses will be also aimed at the question of provided information by the university to the students (of non sport fields of studies) in the topic of the offer of optional study courses focused on physical activity. Methods: Observation, interviews and e-mail questionnaire survey, the presentation of results of a questionnaire survey on the basis percentage evaluation, view in the charts. Results: All data obtained from a questionnaire survey are presented in the chapter presentation and discussion of the results. Development of media coverage biathlon in Czech television at 2010-2014

Title: Development of media coverage biathlon in Czech television at 2010-2014 Objectives: The main objective of this work is a detailed analysis of the evolution of media coverage of biathlon on Czech Television, concretely on the ČT sport channel between 2010 and 2014. Another objective is to analyze the viewership of biathlon programs broadcasted on Czech Television. Methods: A quantitative content analysis will be used in this study, through which it will determine how much time was devoted to various biathlon programs in different years and months. An electronic TV program of Czech Television will be analyzed. Results: The analysis shows that the space devoted to biathlon on Czech Television increases during this period of time. The largest increase of broadcast time was noted between 2011 and 2013. The most influential events in this broadcast time were major events such as World Championships and Olympics.
