The development of swimming efficiency of applicants for study of physical education and sport with focus on education at Faculty of Education, Charles University

This diploma thesis is engaged in development of swimming efficiency of applicants for study of physical education and sport with focus on education at Faculty of Education, Charles University. It finds out which swimming style is most frequently chosen by the applicants depending on sex and who is more successful during the entrance exam whether males or females. It estimates how do applicants prepare for a swimming part of talent exam and how long. The work processes five-year swimming part report of talent exam at the department of physical education. Method of quantitative research was used for solving and the data are processed by statistical methods. It uses comparing of acquired data. By the performed research we found out that the most frequently chosen swimming style is crawl and breaststroke was more frequently chosen by females. Males prefer the fastest swimming style more often than females. Males were more successful in entrance exam than females and the equal number of males and females did not finished designated distance. The work shows that the number of unsuccessful applicants in the point evaluation increases over the years. The most applicants prepare themselves from available sources. Tracking of graduates of secondary vocational schools

Regular evaluation of graduates' satisfaction with the school and the quality of education provided is one of the important tools of quality management in education. Through regular and targeted tracing of former pupils, it is possible to detect mismatches between education and labour market requirements, but also to identify facts that can improve the quality of school education and provide valuable feedback to school management. The thesis on "Tracking of secondary school leavers" is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part describes the definitions and basic concepts related to this topic. These include, for example, concepts such as pupil and graduate, the education system in the Czech Republic, school climate and the influence of school climate on pupil satisfaction or factors influencing the choice of school. The aim of the thesis is to find out how former pupils are satisfied with the school they graduated from, the quality of education they received, how they evaluate the contribution of the education they received to their further studies and professional career and to translate these findings into recommendations for school management. Communication Mix of a Specific Product

The thesis deals with the communication mix for a specific programme focused on space technology. The thesis specifies the theoretical knowledge in the field of marketing communication in general as well as the specifics of marketing communication for universities. The analytical part focuses on competition within Europe, semi-structured interviews with current students of the programme and then an interview with the manager of the Brno Space Cluster, a group of companies operating within the Brno space industry. Based on the analysis, a communication mix for the programme is proposed and a communication manual for the Space Application programme is placed at the very end of the thesis.

Management of Stakeholder Satisfaction with Service Quality of Higher Education Institutions

This work focuses on the management of university stakeholder satisfaction with the service quality of these institutions. It examines the links between satisfaction, stakeholders, and service quality. This work deals with different approaches and methods of service quality satisfaction measurement and the emphasis is placed especially on tertiary education. The following goals and hypotheses were formulated on the basis of theoretical knowledge obtained from scientific publications. The main aim of this work is to suggest a new model for management of stakeholder satisfaction with the service quality of tertiary institutions. The second main aim is to suggest a new method of analysis of student satisfaction with the service quality of tertiary institutions. There is a close connection between both main targets and students are considered as clients in this dissertation. Hypotheses and sub-goals are also closely related to the main aim. They are formulated in such a way as to help reach the main targets and verify the suggested method in practice. For instance, the identification of stakeholders of tertiary institutions is one of the sub-goals of this work and its accomplishment significantly helped to fulfil the main targets. The sub-goals are also focused on the area of marketing communications. Marketing communication is the integral part of the suggested model for management of stakeholder satisfaction with the service quality of tertiary institutions. Therefore, one sub-goal is to formulate a set of recommendations which will improve marketing communication of tertiary institutions with their stakeholder. The author produced this dissertation on the basis of theoretical knowledge from scientific literature written by Czech and foreign authors and also conducted research. The primary research was done using the following techniques: individual interviews, focus groups and a (questionnaire) survey. The results of the primary research were analysed using the applications Microsoft Office Excel, Statistics and QC. Expert.Microsoft. The data analysed from the primary research was used to define the importance of individual stakeholders within the suggested model of satisfaction management. On the basis of the results provided, the criteria was identified and then used to evaluate their importance for measurement of student satisfaction with service quality. Moreover, the results obtained by primary research enabled the statistical verification or refutation of the hypotheses of the dissertation.
Proposal for System of Cooperation between Students and Companies

The thesis focuses on the possibilities of cooperation between students and companies. In the thesis has been analysed current cooperation in environment of the Brno University of Technology, especially the Faculty of Business and Management. The analysis also includes two surveys. They focus on opinion of both interested parties. The result is the design of cooperation system that takes results from research and offers the opportunity to effectively connect students with a practical sphere.
Completion of the BUT - Faculty of Fine Arts

The object consists of 3 volumes: two 6-storey academic buildings, interconnected with public space. Simple geometry of complex is formed by the existing urban development. Repeating street directions and continuing visual contact with the housing of the Law Faculty, the building in terms of shape represents letter V and forms enclosed courtyards. In the lower part of the building of the Faculty of Fine Arts there are workrooms, library and repository that are loaded from the north facade. The first three floors are connected by a corridor with a recreational area of public space created for a comfortable communicating and solitary classes. On the other floors there are workshops, studios and studio offices of ceramics, sculpture, metal, photography, printing and 3D-graphics, cabinets of deanery and classrooms. On the top floor, that is 6 m height, there are art studios, additionaly lightened by lanterns on the roof. The housing is designed in that way that it has the open airy atrium, which, along with half-transparent facades, provides natural light in most interiors. Facade structure is highlighted with the shell of the vertical and horizontal aluminum fins and shelves, which gives to a compex an interesting and constantly changing pattern. Unified composition is also highlighted with shades of warm and cold colors of the spectrum. Four underground floors are used for car parking, and the ground flloor of them is given for the operation of the university. In the future, the project also envisages planting of greenery of building facades and of the surrounding area.
