Personality development of students by art activities at two-years practical school

This thesis tries to understand and to have a better insight into adolescence and it is interested in options of forming personality of a young person with a mental disability. Based on the qualitative research, it tries to describe the development of personality particular aspects in the group of people in a two-year practical school. Sub themes of personality development are elaborated on the basis of cross-section theme Personality and social education in art lessons, where they are using the benefit of the art work, feeling and reflection as a formative element by creating self-identity in the behavioral-educational process. Thesis describes ways, which simplify the self-knowledge, strengthen the self-concept, operate in the area of psycho-hygiene and help to reveal the hidden potentials, which specify and focus the life course of a young person with a mental disability on the edge of adulthood. The aim of this thesis was to find out whether heritability has an impact on development of allergic diseases and also to identify some environmental factors that can also take part in the development of allergies. This study is also a pilot study by which we were verifying our method of data collecting. Methods: We chose a method of an electronic questionnaire. The questionnaire, divided into four parts, was placed on a website www.alergie-dotaznik.blogspot.cz. Informative letters were sent to chosen schools to mothers of eights graders in which they had a link to the website and filling out information. We sent out 3362 letters and received 192 filled out questionnaires. We included 164 questionnaires in the analysis of data. We analyzed the data in the program Microsoft Excel. Results: From all children that took part in our research 32,9 % were allergic and 38,4 % were non-allergic. The rest (28,66 %) was put in the group "others". Creativity of teachers in the educational process in special elementary school

The diploma thesis "Creativity of teachers in the educational process in special elementary school" focuses on teachers in special elementary schools at this moment. The thesis is divided into four parts. First three chapters sumarizes the facts about creativity gained from the special literature. The first chapter sumarizes generall knowledges about creativity. It describes the notion of creativity and compares the definitions of various authors. In the second chapter it describes creativity from the view of the special pedagogues and describes the creative methods which may be used by them during the educational process. The second chapter also describes the barriers which can appeares on the way to creativity. The third chapter focuses on the meaning of special pedagogues for the special elementary schools. It describes special elemetary schools and how can special pedagogues develop their own creativity and which creative methodes they can use during teaching. The fourth chapter focuses on the use of creative methods. The main target is the analysis of the educational programme for the special elementary schools. Mentoring in a period of professional adaptation of teachers in the secondary schools

The thesis is focused on the process of mentoring and its application in the process of professional adaptation of teachers in secondary schools. The aim of the work is based on a literature review of available literature and the results of the research to describe and analyze the process of mentoring in a period of professional adaptation of secondary school teachers. In the theoretical part are explained the basic concepts related to the topic, are described the process of adaptation of teachers, characteristic of mentoring, role of mentor, mentoring relationship, further characteristic of mentor, forms, strategies, risks and benefits of mentoring. In the empirical part are described the implementation and results of quantitative research by the semistructured interview with the directors of the secondary schools, which focused on the way, how the process of mentoring in a period of professional adaptation of teachers in the secondary schools works and what specific ways of support are in the process of mentoring in a period of professional adaptation of teachers in the secondary school applied. The results of the research are useful for recommendations for the creator of the educational system. ABSTRACT: Both foreign and Czech literature point out that information and communication technologies are becoming more and more integral part of education. This presented diploma thesis provides basic outline of information and communication technologies and possibilities of their use with respect to English language teaching. This thesis tries to outline effective use of ICT in English language teaching and focuses mainly on electronic communication, the Internet calling and features of blogging. The aim of the thesis is to find out pupils'attitudes towards English language teaching at Secondary Vocational School in Hořovice, their previous experience with electronic communication, their preferred and dispreferred activities during English language teaching and finally their opinion on using the Internet calling and e-mail by means of a questionnaire and data analysis. Possibility of using electronic communication and calling via the Internet in English language teaching is realized as a project.
Time management nurse manager in the intensive care

Subjects: This diploma thesis is dedicated to the topic of time management in nursing - it deals with four generations of time management and with its different techniques. Furthermore it describes functions and roles of a manager. Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to analyse time management issues that concern nurse managers working in intensive care. The main goal of the research is to answer following question: How do nurse managers in intensive care use and organise their working time? Secondary goals are: to name priorities of nurse managers on an ordinary working day, to find out which timekeeping devices do nurse managers use for direct measuring of time consumption, to analyze managerial strategies used by nurse managers for their time management, to sum up the most frequent tasks postponed by nurse managers for a later time and find the reasons of procrastination. Methodology: Data were gained through a combined quantitative and qualitative research design. Quantitative research was done through the use of a time frame of a working day and a working week of nurse managers. Results were presented in boxes and charts to provide a better overview. Impact of CSI activities on practice in primary schools in Prague

The Czech School Inspectorate (CSI) is the only institution responsible for external evaluation of educational system in the Czech Republic. Its main purpose is improving the quality of education provided. The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe different CSI's activities and to find out which of them and how influence practice of primary schools in Prague. The results of the analysis of questionnaires, interviews with some headteachers and Deputy Chief School Inspector's comment show that majority of headteacher respondents act upon school inspection report, take inspectors' advice into consideration and follow them. The CSI also influences schools indirectly:  by setting Criteria for Evaluation of Conditions, Course and Outcomes of Education  by stakeholder pressure  by publishing of numerous outputs  by means of InspIS SET system The research shows that most headteacher respondents consider school inspections to be important for them. Dream Content Analysis in Czech Female Students

The thesis overviews a variety of approaches to understanding of dreams, covering the historical perspectives as well as the perspectives of modern psychologists and psychological schools. It presents information on quantitative analysis of dream content and possibilities of the use of statistical methods in dream research. It introduces the results of the research into the dream content in 100 Czech female psychology students, using the method developed by Hall and Van de Castle. The comparison of these results with a similar group of US female students revealed several differences: The Czech students reported slightly more Aggresion/Friendliness Percent, significantly more unknown environments and moderately more dreams containing aggression and efforts. Compliance with the American sample was shown mainly by percentages regarding the type of characters, negative emotions ratio and the percentage of physical aggression compared to non-physical. Correlation analysis applied to data revealed a moderate relationship between variables suggesting possible explanations of dream content. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Biological and Geological Excursions for second degree of primary school in the Třebíč areas

The aim of the presented master thesis is to prepare, realise and evaluate an efficiency of the alternative method of biology (natural history) teaching at second grade of primary school via excursion into natural areas of the Třebíč region. Four field trips dealing with botanical, zoological, geological and ecological focuses were realised. The theoretical part of the thesis is characterised the Třebíč region focusing on several different natural aspects with an emphasis on an interesting natural sites in this region that are suitable for teaching. Specific teaching methods that are useful for field trips are included in this part of the thesis. The practical part described four field trips including methodical instructions for teachers. Other didactic materials and worksheets are added in the appendices. The empirical part contains questionnaires and didactic tests that are used to monitor specific attitudes of 120 pupils from primary schools to teaching of natural, field trips and worksheets. This diploma thesis focuses on the visual presentation of the Department of Physical Education Faculty of Education of the Charles University. Its aim is to analyse the current situation in the unified visual style of the department and propose improvement through a new graphic manual. The theoretical part contains information about the Department and its functioning, about cooperation with the university sports club and about the presentation of the department at various events. The theoretical part explains the background issues of the corporate identity and corporate image and shows how the selected departments at the Charles University in Prague and other Czech universities visually present themselves. The practical part analyses students, graduates, teachers' and the management's opinion of the work and visual appearance of the Department of Physical Education. And the key points of the presentation of the department in the graphic manual are summed and presented here. The knowledge acquired from this thesis and its output are primarily intended for employees of the department and people who will help with the graphical presentation of the department. Secondly, other departments that are planning to create their own visual style can get inspired by this work's models.
