Assessment of Teacher of Nursing Subjects by Pupils and Students

The dissertation Assessment of a teacher of nursing subjects by pupils and students focuses on finding the opinion of pupils of secondary nursing schools and students of higher nursing schools and universities on teachers of nursing. The subject of the interest was particularly qualities and skills of the nursing teachers which pupils and students consider important and desirable. The theoretical part of the work summarizes conclusions from thematically similar studies. The empirical part of the work describes the applied quantitative research carried on by the indirect inquiry method with 805 respondents (out of this number was 74 men and 731 women) - pupils and students of secondary and higher nursing schools and universities specialised on nursing. The respondents were chosen from fourteen schools, seven towns of a different size and five regions in order to ensure the representativeness of the sample. In terms of the gender structure the studied sample corresponds to the usual quantitative representation of men and women who study nursing at nursing schools. The original questionnaire which was drawn for this purpose was tested by two preliminary studies. Title: How to teach philosophy at secondary schools? A contribution to the didactics of philosophy Author: Mgr. Petra Šebešová Abstract: The thesis presents a first attempt to propose a complete didactic conception of philosophy education at secondary schools in the Czech Republic. The author thus responds to the unsatisfactory correspondence between the key competences and the content of the teaching subject area called Civics and the introduction to social sciences as they are defined in the Czech curricular documents for secondary schools, as well as she responds to the lack of Czech literature concerning the didactics of philosophy. The development of students'philosophical thinking is taken as the main teaching aim of the presented conception. This claim is supported by arguments based on the specific nature of philosophy and on literature on didactics of philosophy from abroad. Philosophical thinking is for teaching purposes divided into the following philosophical competencies: text understanding and interpretation, text writing, discussion, work with concepts, argumentation, problem solving, reflection (including critical examination and evaluation), responsible decision-making and action. The Development and Transformation of the Czech Catholic Lithurgics in the Czech Catholic Literature between (1772) 1852-1962

The thesis presents the portrait of forming, development and forms of Czech liturgics from the standpoint of works written by Czech authors in the Czech lands between 1607-1962. The time range covers the period since writing of the first Czech liturgy handbook through liturgics as an integral part of pastoral theology in the 18th and 19th century, its independence dating to the beginning of the 20th century and further development until the Second Vatican Council. On the basis of (1) bibliography of Czech liturgics, the project introduces (2) developmental tendencies of this discipline. In order to gain a comprehensive portrait of Czech liturgics, (3) educational institutions and the position of liturgics within the curriculum are studied. Liturgics is (4) approached with respect to the wider context of: (a) general ecclesiastic history, (b) Czech ecclesiastical history and (c) an overview of significant translations which gained acceptance in the Czech lands. The "Zeitgedicht" in Erich Fried's poetry

eHern teto prace je analyza tzv. "dobove basne" (nem. "Zeitgedicht,,)l64 v ramci basnickeho dila Ericha Frieda, tj. mezi lety 1944 - 1988. Tato vYrazova fonna je jednim ze zakladnich umeleckych prostredkü, ktere se v jeho dile konstantne objevuji. Jeji vyhodnoceni bylo provedeno nejen ve Friedove dile samotnem, ale i vzhledem ke vzajernnYm vztahüm k autorüm jinYm v literamehistorickem kontextu literatury psane nemecky. Usporadani a struktura teto prace je proto nutne selektivni a zamerena pouze na jeden tematicky celek z Friedova dila - na politickou lyriku a vYvoj jejich forem, konkretne "dobove basne", v chronologickem prehledu. "Dobova basen" je literami formou politicke lyriky vedle foremjinych, jako je napr. pamflet, agitka, moritat, balada ad. Jeji celkovyvYvoj saha od antiky az po pfitomnost a jeji obsahje po sta1eti spjat s realnou politikoujako nastrojem moci. Medium basne je vsakjineje jim jazyk. Maryse Condé and her novels Heremakhonon and Moi, Tituba sorcière... Noire de Salem

The purpose of this paper is to analyze Heremakhonon (1976) and Moi, Tituba sorcière… Noire de Salem (1986), the first novel and the most successful novel, respectively, of Maryse Condé (born 1937), one of the most influential figures of 20th century francophone literature (who is as of yet nearly entirely unknown to Czech contexts and whose work has not been translated into Czech). The underlying formal element connecting these novels, i.e. a narrating protagonist, is presented as both an individual and collective identity quest, during which Maryse Condé, for (im)personal reasons, problematizes certain theoretical paradigms of identity.

Sabina's romantic short story

The thesis deals with the prose work written by KAREL SABINA in the period from 1835 till 1848. The starting point of the thesis is an analysis of Hesperidky (Ervín), a not very well-known story, through which the author shows general features of romantic literature in the Czech as well as in the European context. In the next chapter we can find characteristic of the typical heroes of Sabinas works, in particular it means a tramp, a gravedigger, an executioner and different images of female characters. The last two chapters deal with an analysis of texts that have remained unnoticed by the professional literature so far - unpublished prose Čech and tales Obrazy a květy snů. The work also includes an extensive supplement with a list of Sabinas prose works written before March 1848, and with an edition of the manuscript of Čech and a transcript of the novel Vesničané.

The topic of my master thesis is the valuation of Pixelfield, s.r.o. company. The introduction and the theoretical part present basic and advanced procedure with valuating a company. An emphasis is put on the financial analysis and on the financial plan. In the practical part I apply and analyze findings on a company, which makes business in digital marketing and IT. The primary objective is to apply the theoretical knowledge and valuate the company according to the official proceeding. The secondary objective is to confront the valuation with a real situation - that means the real amount of money that possible investors offer. Further I use other possible solutions how to valuate a company and again to confront it with a real situation.

Accounting and Tax Frauds from Comparative Perspective of Czech and American Law and Practice

This diploma thesis entitled Accounting and Tax Frauds from Comparative Perspective of Czech and American Law and Practice analyses accounting frauds and tax frauds in the Czech Republic with added comparative aspects from the US. The purpose of the thesis divided to 6 chapters is to provide a complex and comprehensive analysis from the perspective of accounting, legal and justice system and police investigation and to propose original policy solutions how to improve combating this sophisticated economic criminal activities. This thesis is grounded in an interdisciplinary context and applies economics, taxes, accounting, law, criminology and forensic science. It also combines theoretical background with practical case study analysis. Stemming from the case study analysis and the comparative perspectives from the US, this thesis proposes practical solutions proposals for the police work. One of the common features of both Czech and the US system is the essential role of experts. The added value of this thesis includes 10 different proposals in the legislative, institutional, informational and practical police area, such as establishing special police unit tasked with accounting and audit frauds, protection of whistleblowers, more severe punishments, uniform tax software and electronic evidence, better coordination between police and the tax authorities, improving the education of policemen in the economic, tax and accounting area, cooperation with academia and police internships of economics students and also enhanced international cooperation. One cross-cutting finding is the absolute necessity of close and long-term cooperation and coordination between police, judiciary, tax authorities and academia, sharing knowledge, information and know-how and critically analysing recent trends and practical issues. That is the only way how to effectively improve the fight against this complex white-collar crime.

Pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic pain treatment in cardio surgery patients

Pharmacologic a non - pharmacologic pain treatment in cardio surgery patients This project is orientated on pain treatment in cardio surgery patients, especially in intensity of pain, character of pain and other close parameters. The theoretical part is about basic physiology of pain as CNS function, complex reaction on pain, types of pain, etc. There are pain-scoring scales mentioned as well. In more detail post surgery pain is analyzed, its treatment and scoring (evaluation) by a nurse. The end of this project is orientated on this topic in cardio surgery. Basic cardio surgery diagnosis, surgery procedures, post surgery care and basic vital signs monitoring are explained too. The clinical part contains results of patient examinations and discussions, which took care about the intensity of pain, the character of pain, the localization of post surgery pain and other close parameters.
