Gender and communication at the school

and key words Gender and communication at school The diploma thesis deals with gender issues in the school environment in relation to communication. The thesis analyses gender assumptions, projects gender in educational practice and maps gender stereotypes in relation to the communication at school. It presents the principles of gender-sensitive education and points out the positive aspects of gender equality education. The second part of the thesis is reserved for the empirical aspect containing the research probe. Students opinions on the gender communication were get by using the questionnaire. Burnout military nurses versus civil nurses

This bachelor thesis deals with burnout syndrome. Theoretical part of this work brings the introduction to the problems and examples of persons threatened by this syndrome, description of the symptomes and the course of burnout syndrome. Further, the work brings information on potential diagnostics, prevention and interventions. Practical part maps, which group of the addressed nurses is exposed to higher risk of burnout syndrome inception, whether military or civil nurses and if the total practice time spent in health service influences the burnout syndrome inception. Analysis and evaluation follows of the burnout syndrome manifestations ascertained at the above mentioned groups, comparison and statement which group of the addressed nurses faces higher risk of burnout syndrome.

Development of interactive education objects in authoring environment

This thesis elaborates on the domain of authoring tools and the development of interactive educational objects. The focus lies in finding of suitable authoring tools for interactive objects composition and designing original objects with interactive board support. The first part concerns the relationship between ICT and current education, maps available authoring tools and elaborates on the domain of interactive application development, as a base for definition of theoretical basis for the actual object design. Next part describes the design of structures and functions of these objects and their pilot deployment or validating of their proper features. Gained feedback and experiences from pilot deployment is fundamental for debugging, tuning and extending these applications. Vratislav Effenberger's poetry and its ideologic context

This study contains an analysis of the poetry of Vratislav Effenberger and the context of its ideas. The first two sections are devoted to the ideology of Czech surrealism, with which Effenberger is indelibly linked as a leading theoretician and which determined his direction for several long decades. The Introduction carries basic information about the history of Czech surrealism, the general problems of its theory and creative practice and the personality of the author in question. The following part examines in detail one aspect of the fundamental shift that occurred in Czech surrealism during its post-war developments: the shift from attempts at achieving a general disruption of the spirit (European rationalist thought), bringing about a total "crisis of consciousness," to mapping this crisis as a depressing problem of the contemporary world. This change is related to the different position of Czech surrealists regarding psychoanalysis: In this context, the author of this study refers to the two-member development scheme of Jean Michel Rabaté, according to which it is possible to distinguish between "hysterical" and "paranoid" discourse within surrealism, and proposes that it be supplemented by a third member - "analytical" discourse. Possibilities and limits of the Pesso Boyden psychomotor therapy in working with traumatized clients

Pesso Boyden psychomotor therapy (PBSP) belongs to a body-oriented psychoterapies that in their thought basis point to the importance of linking physical, emotional and cognitive components of each of us. The subject of the dissertation is: Possibilities and limits of the Pesso Boyden Psychomotor Therapy in working with traumatized clients and is focused on the psychological characteristics of the psychotherapeutic movement, which is processed by the available literature only to a limited extent. PBSP is presented in the context of working with traumatized clients. The theoretical part consists of two basic topics-introduction of practical and theoretical framework of PBSP and lead-in into issues of trauma. The theory of Pesso Boyden Psychomotor Therapy is expressed primarily through general psychological topics and developmental perspective on individual personality, PBSP practice is reflected in the detailed description of the psychotherapeutic process and approached by fictitious case report of PBSP. Analysis of television program for children Kouzelná školka in year 2010

This work examines an entertainment programme for preschool children Kouzelná školka. It uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative content analysis. Selection of focused attributes is based on the wide range of theoretical literature and empirical researches. For example it analyses themes of education, moral values, fear, adventures, violence, interactivity, storytelling or gender differences. Quantification of focused contents is just first step of this work. It aims not only on the question WHAT we can find in this programme, but rather WHY we can find it and HOW it can affect children audience. Analytic part consists of two main chapters: Summary content analysis and Cast of moderators. In these chapters it brings results of summarising analysis for whole examined materials and partial analysis for each moderator's broadcast. Outputs are discussed with theoretical background of this work and to join it with current practice it also focuses on the motivation of the program creators. The main aim of this work is to map and evaluate (based on established criterion) the state of medial, concretely television, environment and products for preschool children.

Relationships between ADHD syndrom and neurotic symptoms in children of younger school age

The goal of this diploma thesis is to map out possible connections between symptoms of neurotic disorders and ADHD syndrom in children of younger school age (that is, roughly, children between six and twelve years of age). In order to create the necessary framework, the theoretical part first describes the specifics of the developmental period of younger school age, after which follows a discussion of neurotic disorders and their symptoms with concentration mostly on child's age, and also follows a presentation of characteristics of ADHD syndrome (here meaning the Hyperkinetic disorder according to ICD, 10 th edition). The last chapter of the theoretical part of the thesis intends to connect the two problem areas - to search for similarities and to find differences between the examined disorders in childhood age; this part attempts to differentiate more sensitively between symptoms of these disorders. It also discusses circumstances and preventive methods against development of other problems in children with ADHD syndrome, as well as therapeutic methods for children suffering from both ADHD syndrome and neurotic disorders. The aim of this work is to map the sphere of community portals, to determine what are the characteristics of users and how they behave. Subsequently, this knowledge confront with the current state. In the sphere of semantic web technologies are still solved the problem of their introduction into practice. The work aims to describe these technologies and find out how it can be in the field of social networks applied and where can they find the application. For those, who want to start their own small community portal is designed solution in the form of simple application, based on free available technologies. Here is the aim to provide warp and inspiration to set up a similar project. Taken into account is the economics, which is intended to outline the sphere of financing community portal in its infancy. At the end we specify problems and difficulties faced by entrepreneurs of existing sites. The main contribution consists of an analysis of studies on users of community portals and deduction the knowledge about behavior and characteristics of these participants. You can apply this information for marketing or any other work in the field of social networks. The contribution of the practical part of the work lies in exploring the applicability of semantic technologies in social networks and the subsequent implementation of any proposal. For those interested in establishing the portal is a useful proposal for their own applications, including economic aspects.

The final thesis is focused on a process management in praxes. The theoretical part of thesis concludes different techniques of mapping and analysing of a process. Preparation for Retirement Age from the Perspective of a Social Worker

Growing old is a natural and irreversible process which is part of everybody?s life. Human being is practically getting old from the birth and this process continuous the entire life. The stage of life where growing old is heading to, is called The Old Age. All stages of life are very important but the stage of the old age is the completion of life and also the last stage of life. Man changes through out their life from both biological and psychological aspects. Their social status and needs changes too. They start to appreciate different value system. It is important to notice all the changes through life and prepare appropriately for the old age. Not to underestimate it, if we want to live high-quality life. Man should be preparing for the old age alone all their life. In some aspects a social worker can even help thanks to their work experience in practical parts. The topic of the thesis is the preparation for the old age from a social worker?s the point of view. The aim of the thesis is to map social workers opinions about preparation for the old age. The strategy of a quantitative research which was used a questionnaire method by a technique of a half standard interview. The main question for this research focused on which factors are emphasized by social workers in preparation for the old age. The questionnaire of the research was made into three main parts and focused on a question when social workers think is the perfect timing for preparation for the old age. Also to find out what social workers think preparation for the old age in biological, psychological level means and which of these two they prefer. All information obtained in this research about preparation for the old age will be published in a magazine Náš Domov in a Senior Home in Máj. It is available for staff, clients but also for public.
