Teacher in tandem teaching

This bachelor's thesis focuses on tandem teaching. Tandem teaching has a number of benefits and strengths, but Czech schools use it to a lesser extent. Tandem teaching also comes with a number of concerns or a lack of funds or personnel. The theoretical part of the thesis is an introduction to the issue of tandem teaching. It defines both the basic terms presented with tandem teaching, its development, as well as the possibilities for directors to introduce tandem teaching, based on the positives and negatives and already implemented research. The research part of the work uses qualitative research methods and includes the analysis of semi-structured interviews. Interviews were used with teachers, pupils and the principal. The aim of the work is to describe how the principal supports professional development in the field of tandem teaching and how teachers at a selected elementary school prepare for tandem teaching and how they cooperate and communicate. yes, tandem teaching is not given enough attention at school, mainly due to a lack of funding. Bullying in schools through the eyes of school principals

The diploma thesis deals with bullying and conflicts in the school environment, specifically in the environment of kindergartens, primary and secondary schools and how the principals of these schools view bullying. Bullying in the school environment is a frequently discussed phenomenon and a problem that needs to be addressed, hence it was chosen as a current topic for this thesis. The theoretical part describes the knowledge about conflicts and bullying - definitions of conflict and bullying, classification, manifestations and causes, methods of solution and prevention, as well as history. The empirical part deals with in depth interviews with school principals, who answer questions about bullying at their school as part of qualitative research. The possible occurrence of bullying and conflicts, the awareness and experience of school principals, as well as their views on bullying and conflicts in education are identified. Furthermore, the methods of prevention and solutions that the school chooses are found out. The work is based on methodological approaches of grounded theory. Conceptualization of the departmental school model

The dissertation deals with the conceptualization of the model of the departmental school as a way of realization of managerial practices of students of the study programme School Management at the Faculty of Education of Charles University. The aim of the dissertation is to propose a concept of transferring specific knowledge and experience of secondary school principals by appropriate methods at management practices implemented in departmental schools to students of the study programme School Management, usable to transform their knowledge acquired in the theoretical part of teaching into skills applicable in practice in the school field. The theoretical part of the dissertation defines the departmental school as a place to transfer knowledge from experienced school principals to students, specifies the possibilities of managing and transferring explicit and tacit knowledge in the organization through a managerial approach, in the case of schools also through a pedagogical approach using experiential learning, and identifies the work activities and competencies of the manager and school principal. For diploma thesis I chose the topic of management of educational institutions. The aim of the thesis is an analysis of managerial activities director nursery school focusing on personnel management. We focused on the issue of the relationship performs headmaster all managerial activities, what time frame they have to pay, how well it is able to fulfill. Individual chapters are based on the general theory of management, managerial functions, personnel, operations and human resources management. The practical part of the evaluation research. Method for obtaining data was used, primarily, time snapshot of all activities director kindergarten and secondarily, identification questionnaire. Based on the research model was created activities director kindergarten with basic timing in the form of a monthly interval. In the end we will find the time spent evaluating director of the kindergarten and recommendations, which should streamline the functioning of the school.
Principal and the economics, maternity school financing and bookkeeping

This bachelor's dissertation is focussing on problems with the excessive strain of numery school principals. It describes all issues including principal responsibilities in sphere of economy, financing and accounting , and at the same time it offers potential solution of a workload reduction. This dissertation is based on a konfidence that should principal of numery school pay attention specialy to the pedagogic process management, there has to be an efficient separation of authorities among principals, school mid-management and external servise suppliers. In the final part of dissertation you will find the brief recommendation regarding principal options for the workload reduction and at the same time the reduction of risk of his economic responsibility in managing the school.
School Board in the management of school

The aim of this thesis was to determine to what extent and in what areas the school board controls affects the work of the school principal. The operational objective was to specify the problematic areas of the relationship from the perspective of the school principal and suggest how their effects mitigated or eliminated. Respondents of empirical research using questionnaires and semi-structured interviews were directors of elementary and secondary schools, established by the Central Bohemia Region. The aim of the research was to obtain the most comprehensive description of the relationship between the school board and school management system. The results of the survey can be used in particular to seek ways and other opportunities for cooperation between the school principal and the school board so that their actions helped to improve the quality of management of the school principal. They can also be used as a basis for more efficient operation of the School Board itself. The survey results can be used and founder of the school as an oportunity to improve the working conditions of school management. In today's mainstream school, which focuses on a common education, the teaching assistant is an indispensable element in the teaching of pupils with special educational needs. This diploma thesis deals with the opinions of primary school principals on the position of teaching assistant at regular primary schools. The theoretical part of the thesis defines common education, which is related to the need for a teaching assistant, further defines the legislative anchoring of this profession, its personal and qualification prerequisites, its scope of work or risks associated with this profession. The last chapter of the theoretical part of the diploma thesis deals with the cooperation of the teaching assistant with individual subjects in the school and outside it. The research part of the work, based on mixed research and using data collection methods "questionnaire survey" and "semi-structured interview" addresses the issue of the role of teaching assistants in mainstream primary schools. Effect of the style of school principal leadership on work performance management and development of teaching staff

The diploma thesis deals with the management styles of directors of educational institutions in the Czech Republic. Its aim is to analyze the influence of the school principal's management style on the teaching staff in a connection with the management of work performance and the development of pedagogical staff. The first part of the thesis deals with and describes the theoretical background. It defines the basic concepts of general management, people management and specifies all for the school environment. It presents knowledge about leadership styles, about work performance, which is specified for work performance management in non-profit organizations. Another presented aspect of the leader's work is the professional development of employees, which in the field of education is represented by the school principal through a compulsory further education of pedagogical staff - in service. The second part of the thesis presents a questionnaire of sociologist Professor Dr Philip Hallinger entitled - The Principal Instructional Management Rating Scale, abbreviated PIMRS, which the author of thesis translated and tested in the environment of Czech schools.
