The master thesis Management of personal development deals not only with a theoretical picture about the issue of management of personal development in general perspective but also with a practical insight into the investigated company CNC KOVO s.r.o. focusing on workers, production masters and last but not least the company's executives. The theoretical part features some of the basic concepts of the monitored areas, especially time management, stress management and personality analysis of manager. Acquired knowledge is further applied to the practical part of the thesis, and results in recommendations for enhancing the personal development of employees as well as the company's entire business.
Personality Development of the Company Manager

The bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis and evaluation of the management of personal development of managers of the business company OMAP Financial Group. The thesis combines the theoretical part, where the basic concepts of management are explained and topics such as personality types, motivation, stress management, time management and personal development are discussed, with the practical part, which includes the analysis of all these areas in selected managers. Based on this analysis, recommendations and suggestions are offered to increase their effectiveness and the overall success of the company.
Competences and their development in the new scout educational program

The thesis deals with the development of key competences through Scout training. It focuses on the transformation of educational program in the Junák - Association of Scouts and Guides of the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The first part describes the history, the mission and ideals of Scouting. It deals with the development of Scouting in Czechoslovakia (or the Czech Republic) after 1990 and also explains how Junák is perceived by the public. It was found out by studies that were done in 2003. This thesis compares the historical and current educative documents that are used to support the development of children and young people's personalities. The thesis describes the initial impulses that led to the program's modification. Also the system of competences, which is essential for the new program, is developed in the thesis. The practical part contains instructions and suggestions for effective development of skills and deals with the further education for scout leaders. The work is accompanied by attachments that contain examples of previous and modern materials and a table summarizing the development of competences.
Analysis of the content of work performance of pedagogical workers in pre-primary education

The aim of the thesis is to analyse the governance of educational staff output in the nursery environment. The thesis highlights the need for governance based on the control of human resources agreed between the nursery director and the educational staff regarding the future work output. The theoretical part is concerned with the interactions between governance and personal work effort. The key terms of personal work effort, governance and the content of work output are defined in accordance with expert literature. The practical part deals with research investigations within the nursery environment with the aim of analysing the governance of educational staff. It will provide information as to whether nursery directors have formal governance contract in place with their staff with respect to the expected work output and whether the educational staff have a plan of personal development. It will additionaly analyse how both nursery directors and educational staff use the assessment of their future work and whether the staff are provided with feedback. A questionnaire will be used to enable the research. Based on the questionnaire results a semi-structured interview with the nursery director and analysis of nursery documents will be conducted.
Learning through experience, its potential, mechanisms and connected phenomena

This thesis aims to illuminate the potential for personal growth in learning through experience. The paper also tries to describe the principles of learning and connected phenomena and the mechanisms, through which its acteurs gain the option to achieve personal growth. To support its theoretical claims, an observation has been conducted in the duration of circa four months among three after-school activity groups. The observed phenomena have then been interpreted in terms of theoretical concepts of learning, experiencing, the dynamics of small groups and personal growth provided earlier in the paper. Based on the observation, a system of "learning situations" has been constructed and its characteristics and mechanism, through which its acteurs can achieve personal growth, explained. Design and Realisation of the Competency Approach for Children of Younger School Age in the Junák - Czech Scouting Organisation

The aim of this thesis is to create and implement a competency-based approach in the organization Junák - Czech Scouting for children of younger school age. Further, it analyses the possibilities and limits of such an approach. The theoretical part deals with the development of key competencies through scout education. Special attention is paid to the transformation of the educational programme in the children's organization Junák - Czech Scout at the beginning of the 21st century. Furthermore, the terms of competence and key competence are discussed. The practical part was carried out as action research in the 3rd Scout Unit Holubov. Using a questionnaire survey, the research first focuses on the reflection of Scout Paths, which represent the current scout tool for applying the competency-based approach. The next part of the research concentrates on creating a new competency-based model that verifies and reflects in practice. In the final part, the possibilities and limits of this new model are analyzed and suggestions for further implementations are proposed. Extending the Motivation System of a Selected Company

The diploma thesis deals with the proposal of extending the motivation system of Bosch Diesel company. The theoretical part summarizes the findings concerning employee motivation. Subsequently, an analytical part is created using internal sources of the company and a questionnaire survey.
