Motivation and Satisfaction of Managers in the Selected Company

This master's thesis deals with the satisfaction of managers and the correct grasp of the motivational style by management and society. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and empirical. In the theoretical part, basic concepts are defined: manager, management, leader, leadership. Next, the types of leadership styles of managers are defined and compared. Subsequently, the concept of need, motive, motivation is explained here and the most basic tools for motivation are presented. The empirical part contains a qualitative research study carried out through semi-structured interviews, the aim of which was to answer the main research questions. At the same time, it was investigated what influences this phenomenon and what type of cooperation or help the respondents would welcome to improve their work performance. The goal of this work is to make a concrete proposal that will lead to an increase in work performance.
Proposal for Development and Training Plan for Business Representants in a Selected Company

This diploma thesis focuses on a proposal of a development concept and a training plan for business representants in a selected company. The theoretical part of the thesis defines basic concepts related to the issue and are important for the practical part of the diploma thesis. In the analytical part, an evaluation of the current state of the company is presented, qualitative research will be conducted in the form of individual interviews as well as the analysis of managerial competencies and assumptions of business representatns. Based on the information found, a development concept proposal and a training plan will be recommended, including appropriate methods for their professional growth and personal development, which can be considered as the greatest asset of every business representants and consequently of the whole organization.

The thesis focuses on the system of remuneration and motivation of employees in the selected company. The whole thesis is divided into three chapters, namely theoretical, analytical and design. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts and theoretical background related to the topic. The analytical part describes the current situation of the selected company in the field of employee remuneration and motivation, based on the data obtained and the research conducted. Following the analytical part, recommendations for improving the company's situation in the studied area are mentioned in the proposal chapter.

The theoretical part of the thesis introduces individual concepts that are necessary for understanding other contexts. The analytical part focuses on research concerning employee satisfaction with the benefits offered in the form of a questionnaire survey and interviews. In the final part of the thesis, proposals and recommendations for changes to the current benefits system are drawn up based on the results found.

Cílem této práce je navrhnutí personální strategie soukromého podniku plánujícího nábor zaměstnanců. Tohoto bude dosaženo analýzou vybraného podniku, jejich aktivit a interních procesů k bližšímu porozumění fungování podniku a analýzou trhu práce která pomůže zúžit výběr potenciálních zaměstnanců podle požadovaných kritérií. První část je teoretická a obsahuje definici personální strategie, řízení zaměstnanců, popisuje personální praktiky a jak je implementovat. Jako druhá je část metodologická, kde je popsán postup sběru potřebných dat jak z interního, tak externího prostředí. Poté následuje část analytická, kde jsou vypsány výsledky výzkumných strategií popsaných v předchozí části. Jako poslední je část návrhová, kde je pomocí výsledků výzkumu popsán návrh personální strategie daného podniku.
