The bachelor thesis is devoted to the characteristics of a school-age child, it focuses on children with special educational needs, especially students with specific behavioral and learning disorders. The output of the bachelor's thesis is a structure of city camp, which has a meaningful program, offers activities, games and activities that are suitable, motivating and feasible for these children. The theoretical part characterizes school age, defines a pupil with special educational needs, focuses on specific learning and behavior disorders within the framework of special pedagogy. Explores free time and education in it. Last but not least, it defines a city camp, focuses on play and motivation and how structure is important for children with behavioral disorders. Paliative care for people with learning disabities - history and direction, posibities in the Czech Republic

The bachelor thesis Palliative care for people with mental disabilities / History and direction, possibilities in the Czech Republic deals with the situation of people with mental disabilities in the terminal stage of their lives, especially in residential social services. Emphasis is placed on meeting the need for communication in non-traditional ways, supported decision-making at the end of life, including passing on and receiving bad news, and meeting spiritual needs. The theoretical part defines the issue of people with mental disabilities at the end of life from a historical point of view, followed by a part devoted to the current direction in Europe. Another of the chapters discusses the research currently being conducted on the topic of communicating bad news and the current possibilities in the Czech Republic. The practical part is based on qualitative research. It brings the results of a questionnaire survey examining the situation of palliative care in social care institutions (hereinafter DOZP) and the results of interviews with representatives of mobile and stone hospices. Methodological Specifics of Beginner Piano Teaching of Students of Different Ages

The thesis is concerned with methodological specifics of beginner piano teaching of students at different age levels. It attempts to give a complex view of its various aspects. The thesis is subdivided into several chapters, drawing on available psychological and methodological literature, piano course books and a questionnaire survey. The first chapter focuses on a beginner piano learner as an individual undergoing a particular stage of psychological development. It explores learners' general as well as music- specific characteristics and links these characteristics to piano playing. In addition, it describes motivational tendencies prevailing at different development stages, and other factors which can substantially influence the learning process, but have not hitherto been discussed with respect to piano teaching in greater detail although a pedagogue can more easily deal with potential problems that may arise at beginner levels when thoroughly informed. Continuing Beginner Learners in Adult EFL Classes

This thesis deals with the issue of teaching continuing beginners in adult EFL classes. It focuses on the description of factors that may influence the learning stagnation among these learners, and it attempts to ascertain the extent to which these factors take effect. Consequently, the thesis aims to characterize Czech continuing beginners as an independent group of learners and to provide scientific evidence which could clarify the assumptions, underlying the continuing-beginner concept. Lastly, but importantly, the thesis also intends to instigate further research in the field. The subject was investigated from the perspective of available pedagogical, andragogcial and psychological literature. Accordingly, four major factors, which may be at the root of continuing-beginner phenomenon, were identified: a mismatch between learning and teaching styles, insufficient study motivation, hindrances to learning and learning disabilities. These four areas were further focused on in a questionnaire survey, using rating scales to determine the importance of the individual areas. The study worked with three hypotheses. Self-concept of students with specific learning disabilities in secondary school

The dissertation is focused on the self-concept of students and adults who have learning disabilities. The general charakcteristic of learning disorders and their symptoms is in the theoretical part. The diagnostics and principles of reeducation are clarified. The secondary symptoms and the impact of child failure on his future professional career are described in the next chapter. The difficulties of pupils suffering from lerning disabilities is highlighted. The practical part deals with the self-concept of students and adults who have to deal with the problems associated with learning. There are records from their teachers and classmates too. I examined seven pupils on secondary school and five adults in my dissertation.
Students of teaching with learning disabilities

in English The thesis focuses on trainee teachers with specific learning disabilities. Its aim is to map their university study and teaching practice. The research part is supplemented with a short survey showing public opinion on teachers with learning disabilities. The thesis is based on empirical research of qualitative nature with quantitative information. Data were obtained from semi structured interviews with students of teaching with specific learning disabilities and from the questionnaire conducted which the public. Another analysis (qualitative and quantitative) and an interpretation of the data followed. All the findings were then compared with the data fixed in literature. The written work consists of three major parts. The theoretical part is predominantly based on abroad scientific sources of information about people with dyslexia studying at a university and employed. The second part of the thesis describes the methodology of the research and the analysis of the data. The two most important results of the research are represented by a number of features which describe a trainee teacher with specific learning disabilities, and the public opinion on such a person. Tales of double exceptionality - a qualitative study of gifted students with learning disabilities

At present, there is a growing interest in the theme of giftedness and gifted students. However, newer and less familiar theme is the theme of gifted children and students with disabilities called "double exceptionality". The theoretical part focuses on describing the theme of giftedness, some theories and models of giftedness, highly specific field and problems of gifted children and students with learning disabilities, eventually with other handicaps too. In the empirical part of this thesis the aim is to present specific expressions, the link with development and influences of educational approach to children and students through casuistries. This data should be a practical replenishment of mapped psychological problems of gifted children and students with handicap that the theoretical part of the thesis deal with.
