Group dynamics for a children's choir camp

The topic of my bachelor thesis falls within the field of leisure time pedagogy. It explores not only the relationships between the members of Sušice children's choir but also their development over time. In the theoretical chapters I focus on leisure education, play, summer camps and the Sušice children's choir. In the practical part I deal with the preparation and implementation of a summer camp with emphasis on group dynamics. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to observe and describe the progress of relationships within the members of SDS during the summer camp. Group dynamics will be described with the consideration of newcomers and their inclusion into the existing group. Based on interviews and observations, it is concluded that the choice of activities contributed to the development of group's relationships. Due to the composition of the teams and the choice of activities, the newcomers were successfully integrated into the existing group.

Leisure activities of second degree primary school pupils from socially disadvantaged background

The bachelor's thesis on the topic Leisure activities of children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds focuses on how children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds spend their free time. Thesis objective is finding out what activities the second grade students from this environment choose and if and how often they use the free time activity offerings at school or nearby institutions. Last but not least, find out if the free time aktivity offerings of school and surrounding institutions are sufficient, or what other free time activities the pupils would be interested in. The thesis is divided into two chapters, a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part defines the concepts of free time, it's functions and the importance of leisure time education. It also deals with social disadvantage and identifying pupils from a socially disadvantaged environment, which was key for the practical part and choosing the research respondents. The second chapter describes the research group and the evaluation of acquired research data. The research part contains the results of a questionnaire survey, describing how children from socially disadvantaged environment spend their free time, which institutions these children visit and what leisure activities they prefer. Creation and realization of program at children's summer woodcraft camp

My bachelor's thesis, which is divided into two parts, is focused on the creation and realisatation of the programme at a children's summer woodcraft camp for one groupe of primary school aged children. I chose this topic for my bachelor's thesis because of my many years of experience with the camp environment. In the theoretical part I focus on the topic of leisure pedagogy and the importance of leisure in general, then I examine the history of summer camps, their divison, camp workers and also the organizational matters that are necessary for their running. In the second part, I focus on a detailed description of the preparation and implementation of a prepared programme at a children's summer camp Barrandov. It also includes the preparation and description of a group game, where the girls perform various tasks. The goal is to prepare the girls for successfully passing the woodcraft exam, other tasks are focused at deepening the friendship between the girls. After each realized activity, I will reflect it with the girls and evaluate the progress. In the final part of my thesis I will conduct my self-evaluation, assess the measure of the preparation's mastery and the achievement of the objectives. Portfolio of professional development Andrea Hlobilová

Andrea Hlobilová's professional development portfolio consists of ten mandatory parts arranged according to the required structure. The portfolio includes a professional essay on the topic of Collaborative Artistic Creation between Child and Parent in a Ceramics Course. Additionally, there is a summary of the book "Čáry, klikyháky, paňáci a auta: výtvarný projev a psychický život dítěte" by Jaromír Uždil, a professional profile of a leisure-time educator, a case study of the educational institution "Dům dětí a mládeže," and preparation for a leisure-time ceramics course. The author's professional growth is mapped throughout the entire work. She drew from her experiences and milestones documented here during her studies, practice, and from professional literature. The work is designed to be a useful summary of acquired knowledge and the acquisition of new insights beneficial to her practice.

Traffic education in the school group

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of traffic education in the school club. The theoretical chapters deal with the area of leisure time of the school playgroup and the Children and Youth House. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to characterize the different concepts of traffic education for younger school age children at present. Furthermore, the aim of the bachelor thesis is the didactic design of a traffic education project for school playgroups in the traffic playground of the Children and Youth House. The starting point for the proposal is an analysis of the experiences and expectations of the school nursery teachers. Art Nouveau art in children's free time

The bachelor's thesis focuses on Art Nouveau art in leisure time. In the first, theoretical part, I focus on defining the concepts of free time, the functions of free time, and the introductory characteristics of Art Nouveau, where I mainly deal with decorative elements such as stucco, painting and sculpture decoration, stained glass, metal elements, and lighting. The practical part is devoted to a project that I created for leisure-time educators and art teachers. Based on the created project, I discussed with art teachers and workshop instructors about the project and supplemented my bachelor thesis with their outputs. The project concept is divided into four blocks that are interconnected and intended for second-grade students. In the first block, I focus on searching for Art Nouveau symbols during a walk around the architecture in Prague. The second block is devoted to discovering Art Nouveau jewelry and its creation. The third block focuses on architecture and the creation of a model. The last, fourth block is devoted to the theme of the vernissage and its preparation, as well as an overall reflection on all the blocks.

Leisure time and leisure activities of middle school age pupils in Slaný

This bachelor thesis deals with leisure time and leisure activities of middle school age pupils in Slaný. The thesis consists of two parts - theoretical and research. The theoretical part describes and defines the basic concepts related to the work, such as leisure, leisure education, leisure education facilities and characteristics of secondary school-age children. The last chapter is then devoted to a brief description and characteristics of leisure education in Slaný. The research part elaborates on a questionnaire survey conducted among sixth and seventh grade pupils of primary school in Slaný. The main objectives were to find out how pupils spend their free time, what leisure activities and clubs they prefer in their free time and whether or not there is satisfaction with the offer of leisure activities in Slaný. The results have been processed into tables and graphs and the data from the research reflect the current situation. Pedagogical support for children with underprivileged background

The thesis is focused on the support for socially disadvantaged children in the non-profit sector, namely on the tutoring program which is mediated by Czech non-governmental non-profit human rights organization People in Need. The work covers pedagogics of leisure, school preparation and social work. The aim of theoretical part is to give a description of non-profit sector and to define terms such as pedagogy of leisure, social disadvantage or tutoring. The empirical part is based on qualitative research. Using four case studies, it describes the operation of the tutoring program and tries to present its comprehensive picture. The case studies cover children who are tutored in the program and whose have underpriviledged backgrouds from various causes. The case studies were created from data collected in interviews with tutors and also based on findings from participant observation. The collected information also resulted in a practical output of the work, which are methodological cards for people who might want to join the program as volunteer teachers.
