Prognosis of Schools Attendance in the Town Šternberk Using Time Series

This bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of both demographic data and the analysis of the nursery and primary schools in the town of Šternberk. The main purpose of the text is determination of prognosis of children in these school facilities depending on the number of births. This prognosis is compared to the current situation in kindergartens and schools. Statistical methods of time series are used to achieve these objectives.

The use of fairy tales in the prevention of bullying in kindergartens

The aim of this thesis is to propose, implement and reflect a thematic unit based on a fairy tale and focused on bullying prevention in preschool age. The theoretical part defines the term bullying, its types and possibilities of prevention with the emphasis on preschool age. It further describes the importance of fairy tales in preschool education, their types and options on how to work with a story. The practical part proposes, implements and reflects a thematic unit focused on bullying prevention and development of empathy in preschool-aged children. It uses design-based research with semi-structured observation as the main research method using an observation sheet and discussions with children and teachers. Literary text as a tool of environmental education in Leisure Education

The thesis deals with literary text as a tool for environmental education in leasure education. The theoretical part describes an approach to environmental education in Framework Education Programme for Preschool Education. The theoretical part is also focused on the function of environmental education in development of personality of preschool children, defines forest kindergartens and their pedagogical approach. The theoretical part also deals with literary text as a tool to develop abilities through environmental education and offers a list and descriptions of selected educational methods useful when working with literary text in kindergartens. The content of practical part concentrates on creation of set of worskheeets and methodical sheets and their verification in a forest kindergarten.
Satisfying of children's needs in preschool facilities

This diploma thesis deals with the problem of satisfying needs of preschool age children in preschool facilities. The theoretical part of this work provides an insight into the curricular reform in the Czech Republic and a view of perception of children needs by the society. Furthermore there is has been research into the contemporary trend of coordinating a family life with an employment. This was one of the reasons for founding of business kindergartners. A summarization of current legal conditions of establishing of business kindergartners is included as well. Furthermore, the theoretical part includes a relation of curricula documents and satisfying children needs in the kindergarten. Important sections of this work are summaries of various models of needs and list of means of satisfying the needs in the kindergarten. The aim of the practical part of this thesis is to do a qualitative survey in differences between business and state kindergartens in satisfying needs of children. The result of the survey show that are differences in surroundings created in order to satisfy children needs while approaches for the satisfying of children needs were similar.
Work satisfaction of nursery school teachers

The work focuses on the selection and further study of factors concerning work satisfaction of kindergarten teachers. The theoretical part of the final bachelor's thesis presents findings from literature review concerning definitions, signs, determinants and theories of work satisfaction and related subjects. Consequently the work concentrates on the analysis of real life assets related to kindergarten teachers' work performance. A questionnaire survey in the practical part of this work identifies the most explanatory factors of work satisfaction. Another focus is on the importance of other variables influencing the general work satisfaction of kindergarten teachers. Levels of current work satisfaction of kindergarten teachers are then compared among the three regions within the Czech republic. The survey results together with theoretical findings may provide more detailed point of view under the given conditions as well as serve to managers with topics for consideration and resposible approach to this subject. Primary prevention of threats of children in kindergarten

The diploma thesis deals with the definition and explanation of the terms primary prevention, endangered child, social exclusion and the context of social exclusion or endangerment of a child by social exclusion with primary prevention. Component part of the work is a detection tool that can help kindergarten teachers in evaluating the child and his situation, so that any problems can be detected in time. Areas that the detection tool deals with and how it has been evolved are described here. It also suggests possible procedures for solving problems based on the cooperation of the kindergarten teacher with a special pedagogue. It points out the shortcomings of the current system and suggests possible changes to the system with regard to streamlining the primary prevention of endangering children (in kindergartens). Component part of the diploma thesis is research based on qualitative and quantitative methods, especially interviews and questionnaire surveys, the aim of which was, among other things, to map the primary prevention of threats to children in kindergartens and to map compulsory preschool attendance. The diploma thesis entitled The Strategy of Human Resource Management in Kindergartens and Primary Schools has the main goal of comparing the differences in the strategic management of human resources in kindergartens and primary schools. The thesis defines human resources management as a modern form of personnel work, emphasizes the importance of strategic management and analyzes standard forms and methods of human resources management. It deals with the strategic management of human resources in education and in this context shows the specifics of human resource management in kindergartens and primary schools. It also defines human resource management in education, what are the prerequisites for successful management and strategy development. Two research methods were selected for empirical research: questioning and semi-structured interviews. The method of the questionnaire was supplemented by the method of a semi-structured interview due to more precise and detailed information on the issue of strategic human resources management in kindergartens and primary schools.
