Democratic erosion in the world

This thesis deals with democratic erosion, mainly in form of executive aggrandizement. Thesis is based on the theory of Nancy Bermeo, who defined and started to scholarly deal with the issue of aggrandizement. Methodologically, this work uses the principles of a case study, with individual case studies being Hungary, Nicaragua, Thailand, Turkey, Mali, and Armenia, in which the subject of research is the phenomenon of executive aggrandizement in each branch of power during the years 2008 to 2018. The research questions are answered thanks to systematic analysis of branches of power within case studies. The result is discovery that across different political systems and regions there are common features in the examined cases. In all cases, except Thailand, there is a unicameral parliament present, and that the institution aggrandized first is usually the one that can threaten the continuity of executive mandate the most. Furthermore, it is possible to generalize the signs of democratic erosion. The bachelor thesis is focused on the design of development plans for selected line managers in the field of leadership. The theoretical part summarizes the findings in relation to the topic of the thesis, the analytical part examines the actual current and expected, or ideal level of selected line managers in the field of leadership and the design part focuses on the design of an individual development plan for each of the selected managers.
Overload of social service managers (Sources of stress overload of social services managers for people with psychiatric diagnoses)

This thesis focuses on managing stress overload in social services of social rehabilition for clients with mental disorders. The goal is to clarify the resources of the overburdened of the social service managers from the view of the managers. This thesis is divided into teoretical and empirical part, in witchteh conducted research and its results are described. Teretical part defines mental disorders and discusses possible characterizations and manifestation of behaviour within people with mentaldiseases. Nongaverment nonprofit organization and their management are disorders. An important part of thesis is chapter dealing with stress overload with focus on social service managers. All chapters of the theoretival part are based on knowledges from literature. The empirical part focuses on the conducted research with discovered sources of overload of social service managers as a focal point. Research design comes from qualitative methods. In-depth interviews were conducted with several social service managers; based on these, the areas of stress in their profession were identified in three main parts, managers in general, specifical for particular social service and overload from concurrend and cumulation of previous domain. Competences of senior academics at the educational organization

The thesis deals with the definition of the term competence and competency model of a senior academic at a university. The term "competence" can be understood as a set of knowledge, skills, abilities, habits, attitudes and values of a given individual that enable him/her to perform "with competence" in some area of his/her activity. It is also possible to describe in this way the ability of a person to act correctly in a certain situation based on the use of their own resources (abilities, skills, knowledge, etc.). The definitions of competencies of staff working in educational institutions are important not only in the curriculum, where the individual in the educational field affects the personal development of individuals or groups, but also in terms of staff hierarchy, including the definition of responsibilities and competences. The thesis defines such terms as executive and university; this type of schools can be further divided into public, state and private universities. Teacher burnout syndrome in the context of helping professions

Pedagogical staff is one of the most burdened professions of stress and burnout syndrome. In order to eliminate the symptoms leading to the burnout syndrome, the correct and timely intervention of the manager, as the director, is necessary. The aim of this thesis is to describe in detail the burnout syndrome in assisting professions focusing on the teacher profession and on the basis of his own in-depth case study to identify the main causes of burnout syndrome in teachers and to propose preventive measures from a managerial point of view. Therefore, the work is the task of the investigation to draw up measures for the director, as the manager to lead them to eliminate this negative phenomenon at his workplace. The theoretical part also deals with stress and depression, which are concepts related to burnout syndrome. The phases of the burnout syndrome are described and analyzed in detail, and the theoretical part deals with the burnout syndrome in detail with the teacher. The bachelor thesis Peer observations in kindergarten as a possible method of implementing changes is focused on mutual sitting in on a class that can be an important tool for improving teacher's professional growth. The aim of this work is to map and describe the current form of observations and mutual sitting in on a class in three kindergartens from the point of view of the headmaster and teachers. This bachelor thesis is of theoretical- empirical character. The theoretical part defines solved problems and used terms. It is important for every observer to know this information. It is the only way for the activity to be performed properly and for the observations to become benefits to the kindergartens. There is also expert publications research and valid legislation at the time of submission of work, i.e. June 2018, mentioned in the work. The empirical part includes preparation, implementation and conclusions of the research survey which consist of nine interviews. Three headmasters and six teachers working at common kindergartens were respondents of the research. Research shows their views, experience, opinions, perception and attitudes to the current form of sitting in on a class and mutual observations. Appointment and recall of an executive of a limited liability company This diploma thesis deals with the appointment and recall of an executive of a limited liability company. The aim of the thesis is to discuss whether the competence of the corporate bodies belongs among status issues and where the limits of the status of legal persons are. This is especially important for establishing the boundaries in which members can autonomously modify the internal conditions to the individual needs of the corporation. The main point is about determining whether the effectivity of the general meeting in the field of appointment and recall of the executive is exclusive or not. And whether it is acceptable to transfer this competence through a possible arrangement of a memorandum of association to another body of the company or to establish another way of setting up the executive in office unpredicted by law, such as anchoring the so-called sending right associated with the share in the company. Development of the teaching staff cooperation at a primary art school

The diploma thesis deals with the problematics of cooperation among pedagogical employees from the point of view of executives of an elementary art school. It is devided into a theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part specifies the concept of cooperation, sets it in the conditions of the elementary art school and describes the possibilities of cooperation control as well as approaches of the executives. Further it deals with concepts which influence the cooperation process, competences of the executives, organization structure and gender of the school director. The empirical part refers to a quantitative research which principle is questionnaire investigation of an accidentally chosen sample of directors of elementary art schools. The results of this investigation are further confirmed by interviews with the school directors and consequently with teachers. The subject of research are two experiments verifying the application of cooperation forms on this type of schools and observation of the cooperation process at the school of researcher's operation. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the activities carried out by executive (Front Office Manager) in a specific company. The thesis first explains the concept of personal work of individual personnel actions and then analyzes the procedures used in the company Prague Spirit Group Ltd., which operates in the hotel industry. Individual personal activities, such as organizing workers, staff selection and adaptation, evaluation, remuneration and training of personnel and labor relations are compared with theoretical recommendations and procedures used in the company, later are mentioned recommendations for improvement and proposed more suitable techniques.
