Parents' expectations from the personalities of the contemporary teacher of primary school

The aim of this thesis is a theoretical level summary of the formal and other requirements that are placed on the contemporary teacher of primary school. It covers concepts such as teacher competence, teaching role, various pedagogical knowledge and skills and teacher job requirements. Description of the legislative regulation of the teaching profession is also included. Part of the theoretical work is concerned with other components of teaching such as professional ethics, professional standards, pedagogical tact and personal qualities of the teacher. At the practical level the work deals with real requirements on teachers imposed by parents based on assessed questionnaires to parents of pupils. In the comments on the individual items of the questionnaire, the author relies on the experience of her own teaching practice. The result of both parts of the thesis is a summary of the knowledge, skills and character qualities, which is the teacher supposed have today. .
The Teacher of Practical Training

(in English): This work focus on the topic of the educational staff in Vocational education schools with vocational training field. This type of secondary schools prepare pupils mainly for handicraft and this process should be led by qualified teachers. The Act of Educational staff from 2005 describes teachers at schools facilities, sets the qualification prerequisities for their activities, their in-service training and partially career system. The training of teachers of practical education and teachers of practical trainig may consist of 4 years of study at a secondary school, followed 3 years of study tertiary profesional education or 3 to 5 years at a university. Pedagogical training follows these studies, for graduates from non-pedagogical fields of studies usually represents a futher 3 years of bachelorś studies or 2 years of studies on a life-long learning study programme at the university. Teachers of practical education and teachers practical training get their vocational qualification at universities, tertiary schools and secondary schools in the field of study which correspond to the nature of the practical education. Analysis of a beginning teacher and his common problems in an educational process

Thesis "Beginning teacher - analysis of his personality, work and the most common problems in his work" deals with the personality of a beginning teacher, mentions the most common problems in his work and tries to find ideas for improving the situation. As the same times in analyses the selected components of his personality, which usually participates the lack of attention, especially in preparing future teachers, and which usually not mentioned in proper context. It focuses primary on the professional competence of teachers in relation to the student's core competencies as well as in other contexts. It also discusses the role of novice teachers in the context of the transformation of the Czech education system and also in the context of the Lisbon process. Analyses of key documents are included too. Great attention is paid to think about the different problematic areas concerning the work of novices teachers. In this context, the author focuses on the matter of authority and educational styles. It is based not only on the special literature but also on the sound, which took the form of numerous interview, surveys, questionnaires and observation. The View of Older School Age Student to Teacher's Personality

The older school age is very considerable in terms of developmental psychology. The pupil's characteristics require an adequate reaction, a specific attitude and a psychological knowledge of the teacher. Pupils have some ideas of the teacher's personality, which may not correspond with the requirements imposed by experts. The presented work defines the factors, that are likely to affect the perspective of the learner of older school age to the personality of the teacher. There are recommendations, how to deal with the undesirable factors and generate or enhance the positive factors as well, so that it would indemnify the necessary positive relationship of the older school age pupil with the teacher.

The Role of Primary School Teachers in Moral Education

This theoretical bachelor's thesis focuses on the role of an primary-school teacher in moral education of a child. It defines important moral conceptions related to these problems. This thesis explains the mechanisms of the socialization and social learning processes which are a precondition of moral education. The text also describes theories of moral judgment development of an individual and points out opportunities of their implementation into the work of a teacher. Specific aspects of teacher's role in moral education of a child form an individual chapter. Attention is paid here especially to the teacher being as an important educational model, his fundamental personal characteristics and authority. The following part of this chapter defines the terms discipline and education of students' character. The last chapter concentrates on the teacher and possibilities of moral education in the context of Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education.
Teacher's Citizenship Competence and Conception of Teaching

The thesis follows up citizenship competence of a teacher and its influence on the conception of teaching. It shows components of the citizenship competence and presents it in the personality of the teacher, in educational and other documents, in education generally and in teacher's active approach in school and in life. Qualitative research looks into the influence of citizenship competence of the teacher on his approach to teaching. It introduces the personalities of teachers of civic and social sciences, their views on citizenship competence and its parts, which they observe on themselves. The research results also present an overall approach to developing this competence in pupils and students and ways of promoting good citizenship in school. The topic of an apolitical school also mentioned in the thesis. Interviews with teachers and observations of teaching are used as research methods.
Influence of school climate to the teacher and pupils at primary school

The thesis in the theoretical part with factors and phenomena that affect the school climate, the climate in the staff and classroom in relation to the teacher's personality, professional competences, motivation and self - esteem in a profession. I tis interested in teacher's satisfaction and its impact on teacher's interact with students and colleagues. The approaches to studying climate are collected at the end of the theoretical part. The practical part presents research based on observation describes the atmosphere of the school, which is an important indicator of school climate. The factors are analyzed here that affect the educational and pedagogical work of teachers and their satisfaction in working life.
