The Evaluation of the Geological Educational Program and its Comparison with the Teaching in the Classroom

The thesis is concerned with appraising the educational program of the Geology Teaching Center Říčany, in particular its influence on the pupils' attitudes towards geology. The benefits of field trips and outdoor education have been observed many times; however, mostly pupils' knowledge or skills were taken into consideration while their attitudes have been investigated fairly recently. Moreover, geology is regarded by pupils as 'the more boring part of nature' and hence I was interested in whether (and how) the non-standard form of education can change the pupils' attitudes towards geology. The objectives of the thesis were 1) to investigate what the pupils' attitudes towards geology are, and 2) to decide whether (and how) the specific geology field trip affects these attitudes and to compare this influence with the one of standard class education. The third, last objective consisted in stating whether the field trip in question will help pupils to understand how sundry topographic features were created. Prevention programmes against cyber-bullying in the Czech rep.

The subject of my bachelor work is cyber bullying as one of forms classic bullying and theoretical and practical prevention of this phenomenon. This work focus mainly on a way, in which is this new form of bullying solved and what programmes are existing in the Czech republic specifically to prevent cyberbullying. These programmes are evaluated. The bachelor work contains definition of the term cyberbullying in wider understanding - At first the work focuses on classic bullying, then the role of cyberspace in social interaction. Another basic theory for my work is theory of evaluation. Next part of the work is definition of the term cyberbullying as a social problem. This part includes forms and instruments of cyberbullying. I also pay attention on specific cases of cyberbullying in the Czech republic and abroad. Further there are researches and legislation about this topic in the Czech republic and abroad. The next part focuses on prevention of cyberbullying in our country - advices for stakeholders (children, parents, teachers) dealing with social patological phenomena. Quality Ensuring of Universities in the Czech Republic Through Evaluation of the Educational Activities

This diploma thesis concerns with issues of evaluation and systemic procuring of educational activities of universities in the Czech Republic. It defines status of universities in the framework of educational system, their classification according to the type of providing curriculum and submission of actual overview regarding to the universities which operate in the Czech Republic in the present day. It provides view to the world rankings, their history and position of Czech universities in them. Further, it clarifies the term of evaluation in education and the difference between inner and outer evaluation. At the same time, it introduces the activity of the National Accreditation Bureau for Higher Education and its distinction from antecedent Committee of Accreditation. The empirical research of this diploma thesis is concentrated on revealing the advantages and disadvantages of the setting in the actual system of the quality of educational activities in the Czech universities. Everything mentioned is possible thanks to using the content analysis of inner documents from selected universities dealing with the problems of evaluation and setting the inner systems ensuring the quality of educational activities. It was put together based on a review of the available theoretical sources, research done among the executive staff of elementary schools partaking in the Health Promoting Schools network, and discussions with teachers at Integrál, a private elementary school (Soukromá základní škola Integrál pro žáky se SPU, s.r.o.). The theoretical part provides a brief historical overview of the evaluation of educational processes in the Czech Republic, and of the quantification of results in education in general. It defines added value with a view to both influences attributable to the school and extramural influences, and to both cognitive and non-cognitive educational characteristics. This work deals with a comprehensive evaluation of private nursery schools included in the Register of School Legal Entities. The main research problem is the definition of pre- school facilities accredited by the Ministry of Education based on its comprehensive evaluation. The aim is to completely analyze selected preschool institution accredited by the Ministry and subsequently define the field of education with regard to the research assumptions based on laws, regulations, school government documents and documents selected institutions. The object of this work will be private nursery school accredited by the Ministry and will be subject to evaluation of the operation, ie the evaluation of the organization, control, staffing, content and form of education, educational environment and employee satisfaction school. We will analyze the work and the resources and procedures that must be achieved in order for the organization received accreditation. Evalution and self-evalution function in the management process of the schools

The final thesis is focused on the analysis of the proces of evalution and self evalution in the school management proces. This proces is on of the important activities of the school. If done corectly ,it often leads to effective regulation of school activities developement, it creates quality schools and to the satisfaction of all parties. The theoretical part of the thesis expains the basic concepts of the evalution process. They are besed on knowledge of literature and its legal basic in the context of recent changes. The research includes a metaanalysis of works that deal with the process of evalution and self evalution. Based on these investigation, the researchers have created a general approach to the evalution of school headteachers for the school founders and the main principles of school headteachers have been named which leads to the improvement of their management activites. Educational system from the perspective of inspection reports

The dissertation focuses on the assessment of the content of the inspection reports of the Czech School Inspectorate (CSI) in the context of the main stategical documents concerning the Czech educacional policy since the publication of the National Programme of the Development of Education in the Czech Republic (The White Book) in 2001. The thesis comprises of the historical introduction of the state supervision over schools in Bohemia and the extent of competency of the Czech School Inspectorate, which is currently conducting the schools external evaluation. The CSI provides the feedback to the schools through the inspection reports and the feedback to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports through the annual reports. The dissertation examines the compliance of the contents of the inspection reports and the strategical documents of the Ministry of Education.
Does ISS FSV UK prepare the Students for Actual Needs at the Labor Market?

The rigorous work "Does ISS educate their students in accordance with the needs of the labor market?" deals with the relationship between tertiary education of graduates and their labor market outcomes. In the theoretical part the thesis deals with the importance of education in relation to the employability of graduates. The methodological part approaches this relationship on a case study of the Institute of Sociological Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University. Evaluation as s research method is chosen to solve the diploma thesis. The analytical part gradually reveals the conceptual model of the evaluated program, stakeholders and their interests.
