Czech ruralism: between literature and ideology

Tématem této práce měl být český ruralizmus, samotné téma se ml nicméně jednak zúžilo, jednak rozšířilo: především jsem se začal soustředit více na osobnost Josefa Knapa jako čelného představitele tohoto "hnutí", ale zároveň člověka, jehož zájmy a rozsah činnosti byl daleko širší: byl významným polemikem, kritikem a komentátorem poválečného dění v mladé české literatuře, zároveň i jejím ne nevýznamným členem. Rozšíření mě pak přivedlo k obecnějším otázkám, které se ukázaly být doprovodem či skrytým předpokladem: toho, co bývá nazýváno avantgardním, "pokrokovým", revolučním a v protikladu k tomu konzervativním, tradicionálním. Takové rozšíření mi vyplynulo přirozeně z četby významných polemik, jež vedl Josef Knap s nejrůznějšími kulturními činiteli té doby, ajeho programových statí a knih, jež jsou protipólem neustálého "programotvorného", manifestačního, demonstračního snažení této generace. Zadání znělo "ruralizmus" - hnutí, které samo sebe vymezuje jako konzervativní, tedy směřující k "uchovávání" a vyznačující se odporem k modernímu, "pokrokovému" a revolučnímu. Na poli literatury to byl Josef Knap, kdo jej reprezentoval a prosazoval, třebaže sám raději říkal (možná trochu pokrytecky) "básníci selství". Czech - Chinese animal phraseology

Čeština a čínština jsou jazyky odlišné nejenom z hlediska typologického, ale i z hlediska genealogického. Frazeologie a idiomatika (IF) je mnohostranná jazyková disciplína zabývající se studiem jazykových jednotek různého typu a více úrovní. Srovnání IF v obou odlišných jazycích by mohlo ukázat jazykové univerzálie a specifičnosti na více úrovních. Cílem této diplomové práce je na pozadí komplexního popisu frazémů a idiomů v dané animální oblasti zjistit charakteristické shody a rozdíly obou srovnávaných jazyků. Vzhledem k tomu, že čeština, přesněji české frazémy a idiomy, je hlavním východiskem našeho zkoumání, při srovnání vycházíme z českých kritérií (forma-funkce-sémantika) dané oblasti, ale zároveň se snažíme nepřehlédnout specifika čínských aspektů. Budeme zaměřovat pozornost na otázky, kterými se dřívější práce zabývat nemohly nebo na problematiky, které nebyly zdůrazněny. Důležitými prostředky budou Český národní korpus a dostupné čínské korpusy.

Research Competence in the Teacher Profession and Teacher Education

The current Czech curriculum reforms facilitate the growing pedagogical autonomy of schools and thus bring about more demanding requirements relating to the professionalism of teachers. Having introduced the Framework Educational Programme for Basic School teachers, together with their school management and indirectly in cooperation with the school council they have become not only creators of the school curriculum (the School Educational Programme) but also its (auto) evaluators. How to define the term evaluation within the context of the teacher profession, still respecting the research domain of educational sciences, at the same time? How to specify the professional research activities of a teacher without downgrading the prestige of researchers-scientists in the area of educational sciences? How to guarantee so that teachers could become bearers of changes and co-creators of knowledge of educational reality, thus participating in the desirable change of the teacher profession status? Greek cosmogony: treatment of cosmogonic motif in Hesiod's Theogony

Záměrem předkládané práce je sledování kosmogonického motivu v řecké tradici, a to na konkrétním příkladu Hésiodovy Theogonie. Theogonie se k tomuto zkoumání nabízí jako nejstarší dochované podání, které integruje kosmogonickou problematiku a zpracovává ji uceleným a systematizujícím způsobem. Representativní postavení Theogonie je v tomto ohledu oprávněné i vzhledem k tomu, že se - nehledě k přítomnosti alternativních prvků v řecké tradici - etabluje jako nejvýraznější a v mnoha ohledech inspirativní verze kosmogonického podání. V první části tohoto úvodu se zamenm na představení Theogonie jako primárního literárního pramene ke sledování dané problematiky, a sice na její představení z hlediska datace, autorství a žánrového zařazení. DISERTAČNÍ PRÁCE ABSTRACT ČESKOSLOVENSKÁ NÁMOŘNÍ PLAVBA, 1948-1989 CZECHOSLOVAK OCEAN SHIPPING, 1948-1989 2016 Lenka Krátká This work is concentrated on the topic of establishment and development of the Czechoslovak ocean shipping in the period 1948-1989. The theme is presented with using a large number of primary archive sources and relevant secondary literature. In addition, the text offers an insight into the topic through the memoirs of former Czechoslovak seafarers collected with the use of oral history method. The primary aim of this work is to capture the history of the Czechoslovak ocean shipping in a broader context of political, economic, and foreign policy development of Czechoslovakia in the given period. A key moment for founding a merchant fleet represented the year 1948, the communist coup d'état respectively, when the country came into the sphere of the Soviet Union's influence and transformed its economy into a centrally planned one with the absence of market principles. These specific circumstances enabled to develop a transport sector which Czechoslovakia did not have either natural conditions, or practical experience with. The Pregnancy of a Visually-Impaired Woman

The destination of my thesis is to present the information about the abilities visual handicapped women to become mothers. Even they are handicapped they can solve individually normal and complicated life situations. This work is focused on the questions of the pregnancy, the labour and passing parentage. The methods that 1 will use in my thesis will be: x Common tract on the pregnancy, the preparing to birth the baby, the labour. Also about the yearn for the independent way of life of people with the visual handicap, x The case reports, the interviews with the visual handicapped mothers and analyse theirs speeches, x The study references, Internet, consultations with the specialists and the institutions for the visual handicapped people. My work will aim for current situations of the visual handicapped mothers in Czech republic and if our society and the institutions are prepared for them.

Adolf Liebscher 1857-1919

Adolf Liebscher belongs among the artists known as the "National Theatre Generation." Like ist foremost representatiwes, F. Ženíšek, M. Aleš and V. Hynais, Liebscher also produced an oeuvre of great diversity - he created decorative paintings and historical compositions, was interested in folklore painting, his drawings were published by the major journals of that time as Zlatá Praha or Světozor and rus illustrations appeared in many albums, books of poems and novels. Liebscher was bom on March 11, 1857, into a family of a Provincial Committee engineer Josef Liebscher. His older brother Karel (1851 - 1906) later became an appreciated landscape painter, with whom Adolf often cooperated. In 1875 - 1878, Adolf Liebscher studied at the School of Applied Arts in Vienna, in the three-year course for hand-drawing teachers under F. Laufberger. After obtaining a diploma, he entered the studio of E. A. Donadini for half-a-year, where he prepared his proposals for the competition for the National Theatre. In 1879, he was awarded in the competition and was commissioned to carry out some of his proposals in the passage of the theatre. Here he created eight lunette allegories of Dramatic arts.

The Training Plan for military Climbing Instructors Aimed at the Climbing Performance

Title The condition preparations for military climb instructors for climbing performance. Aim ofdiploma thesis The aim ofthis thesis is to suggest a mostly optimized training plan for milítary limb instructors with a view to the progressive rise ofthen efficiency on the basis of approachable literature study and interview with limb instructors. Method This diploma thesis is a pilot study using inquiry. It arose in conjunctions with milítary instructors and limb trainers. Military limb instructors, military limb head instructors (person granting instructors license) and air rescuers, both from Army ofthe Czech Republic and Fire Rescue Brigade ofthe Czech Republic, and also head limb instructors from Fire Rescue Brigade ofthe Czech Republic were required to participate. Institutional-historical analysis of early development of sickness insurance in the Czech lands at the turn of the 19th to the 20th century

This text aims to identify the main features of development of sickness insurance in the Czech lands. In the second half of the 19th century new mutual benefit societies started to emerge -- similarly like in Great Britain and the United States, and in the same time in 1888 the compulsory workers sick insurance was introduced. In the first part, this work offers analytical framework for analysis of this development, especially the approach of the public choice school, the concept of cognitive hazard and of social capital. In second part, the author gives historical overview of the era, brief overview of the development of so-called Friendly societies in Great Britain and the United States and an analysis of compulsory workers sick insurance and voluntary societies in Bohemia. The analysis shows the role of interest groups (workers movement, employers, physicians etc.) that shaped the compulsory insurance in similar way as captured in the Anglo-Saxon experience. The push-through of the compulsory insurance strengthens their positions. The application of social capital and cognitive hazard concept reveals that the compulsory insurance could bring unintended cost in the long run by lowering a voluntary cooperation.

Title: Management of sporting event - 6 Nations Objectives: Target of the thesis is brought and defines problems with organization sport action 6 Nations. Whole organization will be describe and next will be analyzed the problems, with which the organizers had the opportunity to meet. With help of selected theoretic method will be on the conception of the project the next year show, how prevent and eliminate the arising situation so as the negative repercussion was least. The most important chapter is propagation of the action and options, that this part was the best result. Methods: With help of descriptive case study and date analysis of case study will be description organization of whole action that will be analyzed. On a questionnaire and discussion will be shown problems with propagation and will be devise the methods of propagation so as the propagations was the most intensive and reach target groups. In conclusion is done generalization the obtained results and setting assumptions to successful organization of sport enterprise. Results: Have been identified deficiencies in quality of propagation that wasn't focused on ideal target groups and thus not be met, which was set before the event.
