Intercompany mentoring

The diploma thesis is dedicated to the intercompany mentoring issue, its thorough description and specific practical application in the company. The objectives are to define the intercompany mentoring as a new form of corporate learning, to analyze it in detail and to assess its benefits to the certain company. Its strengths / weaknesses and the possible opportunities and threats are found in the theoretical part via SWOT analysis. The assessment of intercompany mentoring is based on the interviews with mentors, mentees and last but not least with mentees' superiors. These semi-structured interviews are focused on finding of the strengths / weaknesses and the opportunities or threats. It means that the SWOT analysis is used also in the practical part of the thesis. The output of the thesis is the final resume and my personal improvement proposals. The results of the thesis can help those companies that are looking for new ways to develop their employees or which are hesitating to participate in the intercompany mentoring. Analysis of the Means of the Implementation of the Teachers' In-service Education from the Management Perspective

In-service education of teachers represents one of the key parts of strategic development of the Czech system of education. The work focuses on the problem from the perspective of the school`s management and analyses the part it plays in implementation of in-service education. The aim of the work is to interpret the ways how in-service education is approached and the means of its implementation in primary and secondary schools. The work itself is divided into two main parts. The characteristics of in-service education and the state of the art are described in the first part. The approach of the management of schools to the problems of in- service education is analyzed through the questionnaire in the second part. At the end of the work, the conclusions resulting from this inquiry are described in detail. A comparison of possibilities of using methods of internal corporate education - coaching and mentoring

This thesis examines the application of two educational methods - coaching and mentoring - in an internal corporate education system. Attention is first drawn to the concept of corporate education, while terms such as education effectiveness and procedures of actual implementation are clarified. Thereafter, both examined methods are defined and goals to achieve through these methods are presented. Both methods are then compared, with the emphasis on their similarities and differences. The thesis also examines the specific situations in which it is appropriate to use either coaching or mentoring as part of company staff development. In the empirical part of the thesis, a cross-company survey is presented, researching an own approach to use of examined methods. Cooperation between the volunteer, the client and o. s. Lata - Programy pro ohroženou mládež Abstract: The thesis deals with issues of a voluntary work on field of programmes focused on working with threatened children, adolescents and young adults by form one to one. It's focused on a mentors project running by the citizens' association LATA - Programmes for Threatened Adolescents. It pays attention especially to factors, which can influence the relationship between a volunteer, a client and an organization. It follows up mainly involved volunteers, it puts an aim to description of ways, how the volunteers percieve their work with clients and their organization. Research part of the thesis is focused on analysis of volunteers' statements and has an ambition to catch and reveal important factors, which affect their activities in the organization. This thesis conducts a survey, what motivation and aim the volunteers have, how they percieve their relationships with clients, what helps them to maintain a mentoring role and how they percieve at all the organization they work in
Teacher the beginner

My Diploma Thesis "Newly qualified teachers" is devoted to new teachers with less than 3 years of teaching experience after they graduated from accredited college and received a degree as a teacher. My focus is on the teachers in elementary schools. The goal of the theoretical part of my thesis is to collect technical information, opinions, ideas and knowledge from experts in the teaching profession in general, to characterize the new teacher's personality. In the few chapters I ponder possible fears, concerns, weaknesses and needs of the new teachers, and I also mention problematic field of the evaluation and self assessment of a new teacher. The content of the practical part of my thesis is exploratory inquiry using a method of survey. The goal of the questions and answers is to find out if the orientation of new teachers in elementary schools is functioning well with prepared orientation plan, and to identify and map out the problem areas that the new, inexperienced teachers feel in the beginning of their teaching carrier, and subsequently to detect and identify the new teachers' needs. Work adaptation of graduates in the field General Nurse

Bachelor thesis "Work adaptation of graduates in the field General Nurse" deals with the entry of graduates into employment. The adaptation process at the workplace is a very important period in life of every graduate. This process helps us to transition smoothly into our professions. The work place is a check of our theoretical and practical knowledge and it helps us to attain a new wealth of knowledge. During this adaptation process, nurses should acclimatise themselves to new working conditions. Also it is important that they should be able to work along with their new colleagues. A good adaptation process at the work place is a prerequisite for professional growth in other areas too. The aim of my bachelor thesis is to find and describe factors affecting the adaptation of nursing graduates at the workplace. I would like to research the motivation level of the graduates, contentment level at work and the satisfaction level with their supervisors. I plan to accomplish this with the aid of questionnaires. Finally, I would like to perform primary data analysis and compare my results with similar research .
Identifikation of charakteristics mentoring relation ship in doctoral education

The thesis "Identification of characteristics mentoring relationship in doctoral education" is divided into several main areas. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic concepts and theories for solving the problems defined dissertation and also deals with the issue of doctoral studies at universities. Based on theoretical assumptions, the research questions, which focused on the evaluation of doctoral studies. Rating is based on the student doctoral program because, as indicated resources are an important component of innovative ideas and have to some degree a significant impact on the level doktorskéhého efficiency program in the Czech Republic. The aim of this study was to identify the characteristics of the mentoring relationship and consider how they appear from the perspective of the student's doctoral program in a relationship with his trainer, focusing on arts fields of study. In the empirical part was gathered by interviewing primary data, personal interviews and electronic questionnaires. The data were processed using multivariate methods (correspondence analysis, factor analysis), multinomial regression and multiple regression. Based on the above statistical methods were found to have significant dependence between the observed variables and also were overall evaluated factors that are sensitive to the needs of the student's doctoral program depending on the set of predictors. The results of the dissertation was based on a synthesis of knowledge embedded in the context of previous research with potential for further expansion in theoretical and practical.

ABSTRACT Kratochvílová, V. Bc. "Coaching as a way of keeping people in a selected company". Diploma thesis. Brno, 2015. The diploma thesis is focused on using coaching as a method of (management style) in the chosen company. The aim is to determine how often and in what form is used coaching as a participatory method of management in selected company. The first part in the form of a literature review deals with the definition of management styles, their characteristics, defining governance levels represented by management and currently represents the main aspects of coaching. It defines basic concepts connected with this issue, defines coaching to other management styles, describes the role of coach or manager in the role of coach, types of coaching and typical situations when it is appropriate to use coaching. The practical part is developed mixed design research, which is focused on the use of management styles by managers and subordinates in the company. Selected methods for data analysis was a questionnaire survey and interviews, whose results are interpreted, discussed and correspond to the selected research questions.
