Seidlová, Markéta ; Drbohlav, Dušan (advisor) ; Uherek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Rozumek, Martin (referee)
The thesis analyzes immigration and integration policy of France at the three different levels (supranational, national and local), while the choice of France was inspired by the fact that this country has among the European ones the longest tradition of receiving immigrants. The work is based on theoretical and conceptual approaches to international migration as well as on immigration and integration policies. In case of theoretical and conceptual approaches, it was mostly inspired by the concept of Heckmann' four dimensions of the process of social integration (Heckmann and Schnapper, 2003; Bosswick and Heckmann, 2006), by the Entzinger' and Biezeveld' (2003) assessment of integration as the resulting state and especially by Alexander's (2007) classification of policies implemented by local authorities, which allows as one of rare concepts to compare policy-making at the national and local level. From the methodological point of view, two regions which best suited the preliminary requirements on different share of immigrants in population on each territory and the difference between "city in rural area - metropolis" were chosen: Paris (or more precisely its 14 districts) and seven cities in the region of Basse-Normandie (Caen, Hérouville-Saint-Clair, Cherbourg-Octeville, Flers, Alençon, Argentan...

Kořínková, Markéta ; Růžička, Květoslav (advisor) ; Dobiáš, Petr (referee)
RESUMÉ Title of the thesis: "Dispute resolution with an international element within the area of sports law". The aim of the thesis is to outline the systém of the dispute resolution reflecting sport specifics, especially the autonomy of sport bodies. The autonomy allows sport federations to establish decision-making bodies deciding upon the rights and duties of their members. In the first chapter of the thesis I discuss the proceedings before the decision-making bodies of the international sport federations. These bodies decide especially on disciplinary matters. As appeal bodies they deal with challenged decisions of the lower organizational level authorities. They also exercise jurisdiction in all matters entrusted according to the statute or other regulations while applying especially regulations of the relevant sport federation. I discuss the compliance of the principle of the fair proceedings and the issue of the binding force of a decision. The decision of sport bodies can be challenged only after the exhaustion of the remedies within the relevant sport federation in the proceedings before an ordinary court or arbitral tribunal if an arbitral agreement have been concluded. The judicial review is examined in the second chapter of my thesis. I deal with the admissibility of the judicial review of the...

The Placenta and Antiphospholipid Antibodies in Etiology of Recurrent Abortions
Martincová, Petra ; Andělová, Kateřina (advisor)
Antiphospholipid syndrome is characterized by arterial and venous thrombosis, recurrent pregnancy loss, and intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR). It is associated with antiphospholipid antibodies, which are subdivided to anti-cardiolipin antibodies, lupus anticoagulant antibodies, and antibodies against proteins. Anti-2GPI is the best known antibody against proteins. 2GPI binds to negatively charged phospholipids, like cardiolipin, phosphatidylserine, and phosphatidylinositol. Antiphospholipid antibodies influence several processes, such as hemostasis and cell and complement activation. Complement is the main mediator of tissue injury in the placenta. Initially, the classical pathway of complement activation is induced via C1, then, at the level of C3, the alternative pathway joins and amplifies the damage. It has been shown that interactions between complement anaphylatoxin C5a and its receptors play a key role in causing injury. The murine model has shown that by inhibition of the complement pathway at this level, pregnancies can be rescued. The etiology of placental injury involves three important molecules; these molecules first initiate a proinflammatory state which then allows subsequent induction of the prothrombotic state. The prothrombotic state is the best known complication of antiphospholipid...

Autoemisní katody pro elektronové mikroskopy
Delong, Armin ; Kolařík, V.
Field emission emitters have significantly improved the coherence of electron guns in electron microscopes and allowed to reach atomic-scale resolution in the case of crystal imaging. Even now, thirty years after the first application of field emission emitters, one can hardly say that the development of electron emitters has been finalized

Cooperation of Political Parties in the European Level and its Developtment
Šimák, Vladislav ; Novák, Miroslav (advisor) ; Sokol, Petr (referee)
The European political parties and cooperation of national parties in the parliamentary groups in the European Parliament are very important aspect of the European Union. Here is list of them: One of the most successful organizations is the European People's Party. This party has long tradition of collaboration between conservative, liberal and Christian democratic parties. She is the only the only one party, which allows individual membership. Thought they have inner disputes about the finalité of the EU, they keep their enthusiasm towards the united Europe. The Party of European Socialist is the second biggest in the European Parliament. They are slightly less cohesive about the future of the EU, but since approval of their basic program in the year of 1992 they are more capable of acting due to remove of the national veto. They have organized "Network Europe", organization of party activists, which helps to bring the PES closer to citizens. The European Liberal Democratic and Reform Party is also party with long tradition. This party has included both parts of liberal scene - social as well as free market liberals. They have joint parliamentary group with the European Democratic Party. Another party in the EP is the European green party. They are little special due to their origin. They want more direct...
