Czech - Slav s abstinent association in the period 1908-1915

Tématem mé diplomové práce je existence a působení Českoslovanského abstinentního svazu v letech 1908 - 1915. Na základě získaných pramenných a odborných informací se budu snažit vytvořit obraz jeho reálného působení v české společnosti v době bezprostředně předcházející vypuknutí I. světové války s krátkým časovým přesahem do válečných měsíců. Zaměřím se především na okolnosti a podmínky umožňující založení svazu v roce 1908 a na konkrétní činnost svazového aparátu v letech následujících. Cílem mé práce bude co nej podrobnější zmapování protialkoholního působení hlavních činovníků svazu, organizačních podmínek fungování svazového aparátu a vlivu společensky významných autorit na ideologické směřování svazu. Na konkrétních případech představím spolupráci přidružených uskupení se svazovým ústředím a neopomenu ani vydefinovat způsoby financování svazových aktivit či odraz jejich působení v dobovém tisku. Naopak se nebudu příliš věnovat zdravovědnému a hospodářskému vlivu fenoménu alkoholismu na zdraví a společnost obecně, neboť se jedná o úzce profilová témata spadající do tématicky jinak zaměřené práce. Těžištěm mého zájmu zůstane charakteristika fungování abstinentního svazu jako osvětového celku. Regeneration of brownfields in Czech Republic with focusing on specific practical example

Bachelor thesis deals with the issue of brownfields in the Czech Republic. The first part deals with the issue at a theoretical level, the second part provides detailed analysis of a specific object "Railway Station Prague - Vyšehrad" one of the brownfields in the Czech Republic. The thesis provides a comprehensive summary of the history of the investigated object. By gathering all the available information and information obtained from interviews with representatives of the five interested institutions were proposed three possible options for the future use of the building. The most likely option has been used as an example for illustration of the possible ways of funding the regeneration of the object.

Reconciliation of Work and Family Life - Reflection of the European Law in the Activities of the Czech Government

The problem of reconciliation or work and family life has been of cardinal importance over the past few years not only in the Czech Republic but in most European countries. For most families it is becoming more and more difficult to reconcile the duties connected with the care of children and other dependent persons with the occupation. This situation is caused by many factors such as the growth of women employment, changes in family structure, demographic effects, development of human rights and many others. Social policy must take these aspects into account and carry out such acctivities that will enable families to face the challenges of the present society and won't make them decide either work of family. As a part of theory there are quite many particular methods and ways how to help families to cope with their employment and family duties. Some sources distinguish these strategies among individual and family, employers' strategies and strategies of the welfare state. But the European states differ as to how they view family and social policy as well. In the Czech republic there has been a traditionally high level of women employment rate but the birth of a child has a negative impact on a woman's staying or (re)entry into labour market. Modern society is increasingly paying more attention to the importance of human capital for the organization. Businesses realize how valuable and unique contributions from its employees can be for the company, and therefore are seeking ways to maintain those human resources in the organization, to satisfy their needs and assist to their further development. Each company has its own approach to managing human resources, which is dependent on the team of workers, their values and expectations associated with the profession. This Bachelor's thesis focuses on analyzing the approach of Broker Consulting, a.s. concerning human resources management. The methodological section defines the terms related to personnel work. The practical part provides a basic overview of the specific activities undertaken in the company. Although the company does not have personnel department, the level of personal activities carried out are beyond the level of the legislative requirements, providing abundant working and social conditions for staff.

Specifics in founding and accounting of community organizations in concrete conditions of Junák

This work deals with issue of nonprofit sector. It's concentrated on community organizations- on creation, existence and expiry of these organizations. Further it's concentrated on accounting legislation, especially on differences in accounting of these organizations. Second part is concentrated on community organization Junák - svaz skautů a skautek ČR. It describes its structure and internal regulations. Last part of the work is concentrated on economy analysis of Junák in years 2006-2009.

Funding education in Denmark

Education becomes more and more important and the investment in it is quite significant. The aim of this thesis is to bring comprehensive description of the Danish system of funding education at all levels and focus on the support of students in Denmark. The first part deals with describing the structure of the education system in Denmark and the quality assurance. The second part first compares the expenditures on education with other states, according to different levels of education in absolute terms and as a percentage of the total expenditure to GDP and also focuses on the taximeter system, the type of performance funding, which Denmark uses in some levels of education. The thesis also focuses on the description of the funding of different levels of education including PhD studies and also the funding of research and adult education. The last part describes the student support system and its development, which consists of grants and loans. It also deals with the total revenue generated by the student, whether the grants are sufficient, or whether the student uses other incomes additional.

Metodika manažera IT při čerpání finačních zdrojů EU

Ve vyspělých zemích je běžné, že firmy využívají veřejných podpor podnikání. Pomocí politiky finančních podpor se Evropská unie snaží o snižování rozdílů ve vyspělosti regionů. S novým programovacím obdobím se malým a středním podnikům v ČR otevřely větší možnosti čerpání finanční podpory ze strukturálních fondů na financování svých projektů, které by se jinak třeba ani nepodařilo realizovat. Cílem této diplomové práce je přiblížit koncept CRM, problematiku jeho financování ze strukturálních fondů, získání přehledu o programech, a zejména metodický postup jak získat podporu. Práce je rozčleněna do následujících sedmi kapitol. V úvodní kapitole je seznámení s tématem práce, zdůvodnění výběru tématu, definování cílů práce a omezení práce. Ve druhé kapitole je podána charakteristika CRM včetně situace na trhu, trendů a významu pro malé a střední podniky. Třetí kapitola se zabývá možnostmi spolufinancování z fondů EU. Další kapitola se soustředí na metodický postup spolufinancování z fondů EU a to včetně přípravy, záměru, žádostí, pokynů či hodnocení. Pátá kapitola detailně popisuje náležitosti projektu. V následující kapitole se nalézá anketa. Závěrečná kapitola shrnuje a hodnotí výsledky celé práce.

Metaphors and Analogies in Economics and Economic Education

Presented thesis explores the ground at the intersection of three topics: education, relational thinking and economics. Within the sphere of economic education it investigates the use of concepts known from (i) conceptual metaphor theory, (ii) psychological model of analogical reasoning, (iii) model of generative learning from educational psychology and (iv) existing research on use of metaphors and analogies in natural sciences education. Thesis shows the potential of metaphorical origin of economic terminology for teaching economic concepts and educational use of economic media content. At the same time it proposes a notation for visualizing metaphorical mappings between domains. It addresses economic interpretation from the viewpoint of the relationship between theoretical economic models and actual economic situations, as well as from the viewpoint of the relationship between mathematical structure of the model and its economic meaning. In the first case, it shows interpretative skill, being framed within the revised Bloom taxonomy, as a complex cognitive task, in the second case it develops model of economic interpretation of mathematical structures on the basis of psychological model of analogical reasoning. In both cases it formulates highlights students should know about the analogical nature of economic models. On the basis of the model of generative learning it develops a set of visual methaphors applicable in the introductory topics of microeconomics and macroeconomics and examines effects of their use in the classes of economics. By undertaking such research it initiates the exploration of paths leading in the directions suggested by the theoretical analysis.

Specific features of the business environment of California

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá specifiky podnikatelského prostředí Kalifornie. Jejím cílem je zejména zmapovat podmínky, které jsou nezbytné pro úspěšné fungování podnikatelských subjektů. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. První se zaměřuje na popis geografických a demografických rysů oblasti, její administrativní rozdělení, podává základní přehled o politickém a právním systému a zahrnuje i problematiku dopravy a jejího významu pro ekonomiku oblasti. Následuje popis aktuální ekonomické situace, která je nastíněna pomocí makroekonomických ukazatelů. Je zde zmíněna také odvětvová struktura ekonomiky a aktuální hodnoty zahraničního obchodu. Třetí kapitola obsahuje informace, které jsou užitečné pro podnikatelské subjekty, pokud se chystají rozvíjet své aktivity v této oblasti. V závěrečné kapitole je obsažena řada důležitých poznatků, týkajících se příčin úspěchu kalifornských podnikatelských subjektů, za které je považován i vhodný způsob financování podnikatelských aktivit pomocí rizikového kapitálu.
