Pupil's Assesment in Biology

The thesis is focused on formative assessment in biology, specifically it describes its use in biology teaching. The aim of the thesis is to discuss formative assessment, its strategies, methods and processes that can be used in biology classes. The theoretical part defines school assessment. The topic of formative assessment is presented in the context of the types and roles of school assessment and also biology teaching. The empirical part, using the qualitative design of the multi-case study, builds on the data obtained by the in-depth interviews with two teachers. The aim of the research was to describe the way teachers assess students in biology classes and their attitude and knowledge about formative assessment. The two case studies illustrate how teachers perceive formative assessment as one of the possible ways to collect evidence about the knowledge of their students. The author asked about grading and its importance for the teachers. She was also interested in the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on teaching and assessment. The research showed that various strategies and methods of formative assessment are appropriate for biology teaching. Motivation and Remuneration of Employees in the Selected Company

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the motivation and system of remuneration of employees in the selected company. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the issues of motivation, remuneration and employee satisfaction. The analytical part follows, which takes place in the form of semi-structured interviews with the company's employees. After evaluating the results of the interviews, measures are proposed to change the remuneration system and thus increase employee satisfaction in the company.
Attitudes and opinions of the adolescents at the age of 15 - 18 to the sport and movement activities

Title: Attitudes and opinions of the adolescents at the age of 15 - 18 to the sport and movement activities Objectives: The establishment and comparaison of the opinions and attitudes to movement activities and sport in teenagers was the main objective of this thesis. PASA questionnaire focused on15 - 18 years old secondary schools students was applied. Methods: A method of the written interviewing using PASA questionnaire was used. This questionnaire was widespread some 15 years ago, yet we made a pre- testing sample and some questions were modified. By means of the PASA questionnaire we asked about opinions and attitudes of the adolescents concerning the movement acitivities and sport in light of the psycho-social, real movement and sport activities, of the exploitation of the available physical education and sport facilities etc. The research was effected at selected secondary schools in the Czech Republic. Results: The obtained data were statistically processed and the results are presented in the aggregate tables stating the statistically significant differencies between sex, age groups. A part of the thesis is the comparaison of our result with a research carried out in 2000 (Slepička et. al., 2001). Key words: adolescent, physical activity, sports, interviews, secondary school
Reflection of the referendum and change of the constitution in Belarus 2004 in the Czech press

The bachelor thesis deals with the referendum and constitutional change in Belarus in 2004 and the response of these events in the Czech press. The first part is theoretical, trying to define the form of the current political regime of Lukashenka's Belarus. The second part chronologically charts the political development in the country. This chapter covers the period shortly before the collapse of the Soviet Union, the events of the nineties and the turn of the century followed by the discussed referendum and constitutional change. The third part provides an analysis of the Czech press - selected newspapers, socio-political magazines and professional journals - with an emphasis on their response to the referendum and related events.
