Antidecubital Care as a Nursing Problem
KŘÍŽOVÁ, Monika
This thesis deals with the issue of providing antidecubital care and observes the fulfilment of nursing interventions in the care about non-self sufficient patients. During performing her duties, every nurse encounters the issue of decubitus ulcers formation and with this related antidecubital care. Thus, it can be stated that the occurrence of decubitous ulcers serves also as the indicator of the quality of provided nursing care. A lot of people think that the problem develops particularly in elders, but young people who are bedridden after injuries and accidents are also affected and this complication degrades the quality of their life. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. The theoretical part describes the anatomy of skin and its function, decubitus and classification of decubitus ulcers are defined, their localization with characteristics of predilection sites are specified, outlining complications in decubitus ulcers. The theoretical part pursues antidecubital care with the division into subheads on positioning, antidecubital aids, nursing interventions, and the mission of the European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel is described. The separate chapter includes the risk assessment of decubitus ulcers formations, as is e.g. Norton scale, etc. The last chapter embraces the specification of conservative and surgical treatment of pressure sores. The aim of the research examination was to determine whether the nurses perceived antidecubital care as a nursing problem and to map the opinions of the nurses relating to antidecubital care. Three research questions were set to achieve the objectives: first, what the pitfalls of nursing care were on the part of the nurses, secondly, what areas within antidecubital care were neglected and finally, how antidecubital care at selected inpatient wards was provided. The research was implemented at the chosen inpatient wards in České Budějovice Hospital, PLC, from the period of February to April 2014. The research file consisted of the general nurses and the medical assistants. A hidden participant observation was conducted and then questionnaires with 15 questions that were closed or semi-closed were distributed to the nurses. 45 questionnaires were handed out, 31 handed back and all 31 questionnaires could be processed. Thus, the total return of the questionnaires was 69%. Questions in the questionnaire were based on the observation criteria. The hidden participant observation was processed and plotted on the observation sheet and then classified according to the given criteria. After delivery, the returned questionnaires were checked and evaluated graphically. All results were processed using Misrocoft Office Excel program, were plotted in graphs with keys and descriptions. By processing and comparing the results, we ascertained that in some fields the opinion of the nurses was different from the practice that was really performed. It could be also caused by the fact that antidecubital care is very time-consuming, demanding and comprises a lot of nursing interventions. Sufficient number of aids with which the ward is equipped is relevant as well, be it preventive aids or medical ones. And last but not least the organization of the care. At present, the time spent on completing documentation is increasing and the time that can be used by nurses for contacting a patient and satisfy his/her needs is decreasing. Nevertheless, the patient´s state and his/her contentment reflect and demonstrate our care. After previous arrangement, the results of our research examination will be communicated to the ward sisters at the selected inpatient wards where the research examination was performed.

Pleslová, Anna ; GRYGAR, Štěpán (advisor) ; PORTEL, Robert (referee)
This Bachelor thesis is aimed at reflection of photography's medium from its beginning to the present day. It is wave which is very popular and many authors are concerned with this but there wasn't anything written about yet. I mean in some summarize form and this is what I exactly wanted in my text. Introduction I devote to technical and philosophical questions which authors process the most often. I outline the beginnings of Analytical Photography and Visualism. In maim part of text I pick the most significant photographers who work with reflection of their medium and I research their production in more detail. Some essays about Czech representatives are supplemented by interviews which enable deeper insight to their way of thinking. In the end I generally summarize meaning of this wave. I reach the opinion that evolution of photography to this stage had its reasons and it was was inevitable. At the same time I can see some turning artists into themselfs and some kind of fulfilment of photography in its development.

Pohunek, Michal ; Sládek, Karel (advisor) ; Štica, Petr (referee)
THE CULT OF JESUS THE CHILD AND HIS PRAISE OF A CHILD IN REFLECTION OF SELECTED SOURCES Summary Jesus took a small child as an example of accepting the kingdom of God, since when people in all periods of Christian thinking have tried to have Jesus himself as an ideal of spiritual childhood. This has happened through literature, liturgical celebrations of feasts of the Child Jesus, paintings and popular traditions. This pursuit is the origin of the cult of the Child Jesus. This work takes its form mainly from manifestations of the cult of the Divine Infant in Czech poetry. The main inspiration are poets like Friedrich Bridel, Adam Michna z Otradovic, Jiří Karásek ze Lvovic and Jan Zahradníček. In their works these poets showed the childhood of Jesus and its cult in the most expressive way in the history of Czech literature. The content of this dissertation underlines their works and wants to highlight them. There were various attempts to give form to the childhood of Jesus and naturally they are of differing value. Since the early Christian times we have the gospels of Matthew and Luke which tell us about the childhood of Jesus. Apart from these gospels, there are two apocryphal accounts of the childhood of Jesus: the Proto-Gospel of James and the Infancy Gospel of Thomas. The Proto- Gospel of James deals...

In this thesis, I want to explore present (y. 2012/2013) modern trends in Business Intelligence and focus specifically on the rapidly evolving and, in my (and not only) opinion, a very perspective area of analysis and use of Big Data in large enterprises. The first, introductory part contains general information and the formal conditions as aims of the work, on whom the work is oriented and where it could be used. Then there are described inputs and outputs, structure, methods to achieve the objectives, potential benefits and limitations in this part. Because at the same time I work as a data analyst in the largest bank Czech Republic, Czech Savings Bank, I focused on the using of Big Data in the banking, because I think, that it is possible to achieve great benefits from collecting and analyzing Big Data in this area. The thesis itself is divided into 3 parts (chapters 2, 3-4, 5). In the second chapter you will learn, how developed the area of BI, how it evolved historically, what is BI today and what future is predicted to the BI by the experts like the world famous and respected analyst firm Gartner. Tacit Knowledge Dynamics in Organization
Rajnošek, Ráma ; Kovář, František (advisor) ; Pirožek, Petr (referee) ; Mládková, Ludmila (referee) ; Bureš, Vladimír (referee)
If companies want to create competition advantage, they must operate with knowledge. Knowledge can be divided to tacit and explicit dimension. Tacit knowledge is not easy to express, it is in heads of workers. It is hard to transfer tacit knowledge to others and organizations have limited possibilities to operate with it. But 90% of all knowledge is tacit. Knowledge can grow, keeps its degree or decrease during the life cycle. Tacit knowledge can be built by learning or by creative thinking. Knowledge can be acquired by combinations from current knowledge, information and other ingredients. Knowledge is conserved in organization through telling stories, sharing in communities or by apprenticeship. Mentoring and coaching are very important for handling knowledge over persons in organization. Knowledge is liable to influences which decrease their value. These influences are biological (person leaves the organization) or comparative. Although the value of knowledge in organization is still on the same level, when competition build their knowledge, the level of organization relatively decrease. There are several instruments to scale up knowledge, care for it or not to lose its value for each phase of knowledge life cycle. The empiric research was focused on working with tacit knowledge in organizations in the Czech Republic. According to analysis of current theory and outputs from the research there is proposed the model how to work with tacit knowledge from its dynamic perspective.

The Reformative Contribution of Valéry Giscard D'estaing's
Jurčíková, Barbara ; Perottino, Michel (advisor) ; Tomalová, Eliška (referee)
The present thesis seeks to confirm that Valéry Giscard d'Estaing wanted to be, tried to be and was a reformist politician. Roots of Giscard's reform of thinking can be found in the 1960's, i.e. in the period preceding the elections in 1974, when he was politically active. His base was the former Club Perspectives et Réalités and the National Federation of Independent Republicans, which brought together liberal-minded politicians and which accompanied him during his political career, even though they did not follow his ascent. Which reforms were crucial for Giscard himself and which were crucial for the society? Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

New Akropolis and its relation to Czech Civil asociation
Bartošová, Šárka ; Moree, Dana (advisor) ; Šloufová, Romana (referee)
My research question in my dissertation was: "What is the relationship of civil association New Acropolis to the Czech civil society?" New Acropolis is the international organization which presents itself as a "philosophical school in the classic way" but it is not only about the Philosophy but also about the Religion and the "Higher cognition"(whatever it is). New Acropolis has been in the Czech republic registrated in 1990 as a civil association. Since then, New Acropolis constantly grows and expands its activities. Also in the Czech republic is presented as a "philosophical school in the classic way". Its main agency is organizing philosophical lectures and lot of courses. Members also hold some exhibitons, music concerts and others cultural actions. The czech branch profess the same doctrine like the foreign branches - with secred elements. So there is a question - is it all right that an organization with religious items is registrated as a civil association? Also this problem I am thinking out. Dissertation is bringing a summary view of one of the many civil associations operating in the Czech Republic - called New Acropolis. I am describing what are its specifics, activities and what are the objectives which members in the Czech republic wanted to achieve. However, there is also a practical overlap...
