G Suite at Universities: Possible Benefits and Risks

Cílem této bakalářské práce je popsat a porovnat informační systémy čtyř českých univerzit, konkrétně Vysokého učení technického v Brně, Masarykovy univerzity, Univerzity Tomáš Bati ve Zlíně a Mendelovy univerzity v Brně. Práce se zaměřuje na celkový vzhled a design popsaných informačních systémů, se zaměřením na organizaci, přehlednost a navigaci mezi moduly a aplikacemi systémů. Navíc se bakalářská práce zaměřuje na konkrétní moduly informačních systémů, zejména na rozvrhy, emaily a zprávy, úložiště souborů a systémy řízení výuky – tyto moduly jsou analyzovány a hodnoceny studenty daných univerzit v praktické části práce. Dále práce analyzuje a popisuje Google Aplikace, jejich bezpečnost a soukromí a praktická část také zjišťuje užívání Google Aplikací v osobní a univerzitním životě. Práce rovněž diskutuje a soustředí se na synchronizaci a konverzi informačních systému s G Suite vyplývající z výsledků kvantitativního výzkumného šetření.

Thesis Media Image of the Government in 2012 is studying how media informed about the political issues within the researched period. Quantitative content analysis through daily newspapers Právo and Lidové noviny in 2012 was used. Theoretical part of the study is focused on the role of media in news reporting, news creation and influences that goes from media organizations and journalist's job. Corresponding theoretical concepts such as news values, accessibility of media, political communication, framing, agenda setting and journalist routines are mentioned. Practical part takes from various foreign research papers that deal with the similar topic. The goal of quantitative content analysis is to gain information on how media portrayed the government in 2012. It also looks at which sources were used and what topics were discussed.

It focuses on the analysis of the media news on the Israeli- Palestinian conflict, mainly during the Second Intifada. For this purpose, reports from newspapers, radio and television are analysed. The political situation and development of the media since the early state of Israel is briefly outlined. The analysis presents the patterns and structures used by the Israeli, Palestinian and international media to report on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Czech Luxembourges in french contemporary historiography

Petra JEDINÁKOVÁ, CZECH LUXEMBOURGES IN FRENCH CONTEMPORARY HISTORIOGRAPHY, Prague, Faculty of Philosophy, Charles University in Prague 2012. The aim of this thesis is to consider the relationship of Czech Luxembourg dynasty towards the French dynasty and the impact of their policies in western Europe. The work also focuses on different ways of perception of the Luxembourgs in both Czech and French environment and reasons for such observations. The Luxembourg dynasty, being originally an earl family of the French from Luxembourg, always had a strong relation towards France and its ruling dynasty which was based on mutual respect, friendship, similar opinions and also family bonds, the successors were educated at the French court. The two countries supported each other in fight andalso by mutual contact, visits and in terms of diplomacy. We have testimonies regarding these events thanks to medieval sources such as chronicles, annals, documents, correspondence and texts of authors from the French environment, who personally met Czech kings from the House of Luxembourg and therefore left us important insights into the situation of that time. Global Terrorism and the Media as the Means of Communication

The master thesis Global terrorism and the media as the means of communication focuses on examining the relationship between terrorist organisations and the news media which play a key role in planning terrorist attacks. The author assumes that a better understanding of the mutual relationship within the communication process requires the engagement of other players into the research as well: the government and the public. Their mutual interdependence is illustrated on the abstract model from which the author, afterwards, deduces the factors which influence relationships between all the players.

Media reflection of the president Václav Klaus' political agenda

Presidents are said to exert their influence mainly through addressing the public and public speaking. Setting the media agenda is considered as one of the presidents' main strategic powers. Although the contemporary Czech president Václav Klaus enjoys substantial media attention, it is not granted that the media report on everything he says and emphasises. This research focuses on the interaction between presidential speeches at important occasions, represented by the 1 January, 28 October, and 17 November address, and the media represented by three nation-wide dailies Mladá fronta DNES, Právo and Blesk. The time span of the research is 2007 to 2011. The analysis seeks to examine how often were the presidential speeches reported by the media, and which particular topics from them generated press coverage. The results show that the media were mostly attracted by the 1 January address, while the 17 November speech received least attention. It has also emerged that the media reporters have been choosing selectively which topics from the speeches to cover. The scope of the space dedicated to each of the topics by the president in his speeches has not been reflected by the journalists. Influence of domestic and foreign economic events on viewership of TV news in Czech republic

This work represents the research of television audience of news programs in Czech Republic during the years 2008 to 2013 in order to capture the possible preference for specific viewers areas of economic events, or information. For the needs of econometric time-series analysis is assembled basic model, which is individually applied to a total of five time series of news programs. Econometric estimates suggest that key events increasing viewership of Czech news programs are riots and demonstrations in the territory of Czech Republic, with a positive effect on the ratings of up to 4.1%, or home catastrophic events that increase viewership up by 4.6%. The world macroeconomic events showed the negative effect of up to 2.4% for viewership of television news.

V tabulkách jsou uvedeny všechny zprávy, které jsou pravidelně Poslaneckou sněmovnou projednávány. Při rozboru toho, jak by bylo možno s těmito zprávami nakládat jinak, než je projednat přímo na plénu Poslanecké sněmovny, je nutno vycházet nejen z formulace příslušného zákona. Je třeba rovněž vycházet z toho, o jaký orgán se jedná a jakým ústavním nebo zákonným způsobem je příslušný orgán „napojen“ svým fungováním na Poslaneckou sněmovnu. K rozboru toho, jak je možno se zprávou naložit, nestačí jen prozkoumat, jestli konkrétní zákon vyžaduje „projednání“ nebo „schválení“ zprávy Poslaneckou sněmovnou, nebo vyžaduje jen její „předložení“ a o výsledku se nezmiňuje. Pokud zvláštní zákon vyžaduje schválení zprávy Poslaneckou sněmovnou, je nutno vždy zprávu projednat v plénu. I když zvláštní zákon nestanoví, jaké důsledky má případné neschválení zprávy (z čehož vyplývá, že neschválení sněmovnou nemá žádné přímé právní důsledky), je třeba povinnost schválení Poslaneckou sněmovnou interpretovat i tak, že k ukončení příslušné zákonné procedury zpracování a projednání zprávy je třeba konečného rozhodnutí Poslanecké sněmovny (hlasování o usnesení, že PS zprávu schvaluje). Z tohoto důvodu je příslušný orgán povinen zprávu podat Poslanecké sněmovně znovu (nebo vypracovat novou), pokud nebyla v bývalé Poslanecké sněmovně procedura schválení dokončena. Této interpretaci odpovídá i dosavadní sněmovní praxe. Pokud zvláštní zákon obsahuje ustanovení o tom, že orgán nebo vláda „předkládá“ zprávu Poslanecké sněmovně, a žádné další ustanovení neupřesňuje, jak s ní má Poslanecká sněmovna naložit nebo že má Poslanecká sněmovna rozhodnout o něčem, co má se zprávou souvislost, bylo by přípustné, aby byly tyto zprávy projednány jen v příslušném výboru nebo jiném orgánu PS. Musí však jít zcela jasně a zřetelně o situaci, kdy je zpráva předkládána Poslanecké sněmovně za účelem pouhého informování Poslanecké sněmovny, nikoliv za účelem jiným.
