The effect of physical activity and seating correction on postural stability in first graders: a non-randomized intervention study
Momutová, Viktorie ; Bartlová, Petra (advisor) ; Baranová, Eva (referee)
This thesis examines the influence of school and school environment on children's posture. Given the increasing number of children with musculoskeletal problems, poor posture and increased time spent sitting, the aim of this thesis was to find out whether giving children a few extra minutes of daily physical activity and correcting their sitting would improve their posture or at least prevent the progression of poor posture. The descriptive part of the thesis focuses on school environmental factors such as the height of school furniture and the weight of school bags. The observation took place at the Elementary School in Zvole, involving first-grade pupils. A total of 33 children participated. It was found that 91% of the children carry bags that are too heavy relative to their body weight. The optimal desk height setting according to the ČSN EN 1729-1:2007 standard was appropriate in 52 % of cases. Results from the assessment of proper sitting posture show that none of the pupils in the first class maintained an ideal sitting posture during lessons, with the biggest issue being the correct positioning of the lower body. The intervention part of the study investigated the impact of sitting posture correction and physical activities on children's posture. A total of 10 children from two first-grade...

The research part is based on data collection using online questionnaires distributed through websites for pregnant and postpartum women. A descriptive analysis of the collected data was first performed, then we assessed the level of physical activity, its preferred types, the importance that women attach to physical activity during pregnancy, the acceptability of individual activities, the influence of age and residence on the choice and amount of activity performed, the approach to weight regulation increase and its influence on the amount of activity performed....

Prerequisites of feedback mechanisms in telerehabilitation
Halková, Andrea ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Vláčilová, Ivana (referee)
Title : Preconditions of feedback mechanism in telerehabilitation Objectives: The aim of this master thesis was to determine whether and under what conditions it is possible to objectively assess the exercise execution, according to predefined parameters of given exercise remotely, based on vide-recording only. Methods: 40 probands, a healthy adult population, were included in the evaluation, for which video recordings of the exercises were made. These exercises were then judged by 75 raters-more or less experienced specialists in the field-according to preset conditions. They were evaluated for their agreement with each other, their agreement with themselves when the same video was repeated, and the difference between the ratings according to their length of practice. Parameter analysis was performed according to the agreement in their ratings, or the differences between the rating parameters in terms of their specificity. The measured values were statistically and graphically processed.. Results : It has been shown that the correctness of the exercise execution can be remotely evaluated, especially if specific parameters are selected, mostly those for which it is easy to determine the truth value. A higher degree of objectivity and therefore inter-rater agreement is achieved by raters with longer...

Stará, Nicol ; Hájková, Jana (advisor) ; Jandová, Soňa (referee)
This thesis focuses on the foot arch condition in female sports and fitness aerobics competitors at different competition levels. The work consists of two parts. The theoretical part deals with the description of sports and fitness aerobics by its definition and rules, then it describes the anatomy of the leg, the deformities of the plantar arch and last but not least the methods of plantogram evaluation. The practical part of the thesis deals with the analysis of the foot arch structure in selected female athletes at different performance levels. Specifically, in female athletes of the first performance class, where the number of probands measured totalled 44, and in female athletes of the second performance class, where 46 probands were measured. Subsequently, the total population (N=90) was compared to the general sporting population. The practical part of the study included additional questions for the athletes in the form of a questionnaire regarding the duration of participation in sports aerobics and fitness, performance class, frequency of training blocks, special exercises for the foot arch and the use of...
