Possible bariers related to common education in kindergartens

Tato práce se zabývá tématem společného vzdělávání v předškolním vzdělávání. Hlavním cílem práce je odhalit možné bariéry společného vzdělávání a posoudit, zda jsou mateřské školy schopny přijímat žáky se speciálními potřebami a splnit tak zásady společného vzdělávání. Práce je rozdělena do teoretické a praktické časti. Teoretická část zahrnuje vývoj terminologie společného vzdělávání, ukázku vzdělávacích programů a podpůrných opatření, popisuje dítě se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami a dítě mimořádně nadané, význam předškolního vzdělávání, školní prostředí a profesi pedagoga, dále bariéry společného vzdělávání v mateřských školách a pojem šikany. Praktická část obsahuje dotazníkové šetření mezi řediteli a pedagogy mateřských škol, výsledky dotazníkového šetření, dva příběhy dětí se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami ve třídě z praxe a na závěr návrh na řešení bariér společného vzdělávání v mateřské škole. The diploma thesis deals with the activities of a special educator at a regular elementary school. Thesis is interested in his position and role in the school, his competence or job description and how other pedagogical staff treat his work at the school. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the legislative anchoring of the profession of special educator and the whole system of education. The thesis defines the methods and forms of work that are most suitable in the education of pupils with special educational needs. The thesis also provides an insight into the consulting system and its specifics with an emphasis on the functioning of the school consulting centre. The empirical part of the thesis consists of mixed research. It is based on the evaluation of a questionnaire survey, which examines the opinions of teachers on the work of the school consulting centre and above all opinions on the position of a special teacher at the school. Inclusion in the Pre-school Education System

The rigorosum thesis deals with the inclusive education in nursery schools in the Czech Republic. It is based on specialized literature, an overview of legislative changes in preschool education and longtime experience of its author, a preschool special educator. The thesis consists of three parts. The first, theoretical one, defines basic concepts and cornerstones of school inclusion as well as the role of its main actors from the point of view of both positive and negative impacts the school inclusion may have on them. It also brings a brief outline of the preschool inclusive systems in Great Britain, Sweden, Norway and Finland. The second part gives an overview of the preschool inclusive education in the framework of current Czech education system including some information and experience gained during the author's professional carrier. Personal experience of visits to some nursery schools in Sweden and Finland is also included. The third part of the thesis brings findings of a quantitative survey oriented to expert and lay attitudes to the preschool inclusion. It examines the attitudes and opinions of some inclusion actors, namely professional teachers and parents, in the first years of its implementation providing a perspective on preparedness of the respondents for inclusion. The topic of this thesis is "Pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a Mainstream School - Case Study of a Pupil in Elementary School and Secondary School". The first, theoretical, part of the thesis deals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and diagnostics; it will also address current legislative changes of the educational system in the Czech Republic as well as the counseling system, school counseling centers, and school counseling facilities. The second, practical, part will deal with the process of educating pupils with ASD in mainstream elementary schools and secondary schools. The aim of my research was to determine how pupils with ASD were able to integrate into a standard primary school and secondary. I focused on approaches and methods used in the educational process, especially on structured learning, as well as on the teachers' readiness to integrate pupils with special educational needs. The research was conducted in České Budějovice, at the J. Š. Baar Elementary School and Kindergarten, and at the J. V. Jirsík Gymnasium. The possibilities of music therapy use in the framework of primary education

THE ABSTRACT This diploma thesis aims to analyse the use of music therapy techniques as means to reduce the manifestations of attention deficit disorders. Furthermore, it deals with the application of said supportive measures in the framework of bullying prevention and its pathological effects. It also focuses on ways music therapy can be instrumental in a pupil's personal and social growth. In the theoretical part, the Framework Educational Programme for Elementary Education is introduced as one of the key changes in primary education in the framework of curricular reform. The chapter also addresses the topic of inclusive education, supportive measures and key competencies. Later on, music therapy is the subject of interest. Its methods, specializations and possibilities of use are listed. The chapter Specific learning and behavioural disorders introduces specific disorders, concentrating in detail on dyslexia, mutism, ADHD and ADD. The Master's thesis deals with the issue of cooperation between a teacher and a teaching assistant. In the introduction to the theoretical part, the thesis deals with the concept of integration, inclusion and inclusive education. Furthermore, it also includes the current legislation establishing the function of a teaching assistant, qualification and personality requirements of the teaching assistant and the resulting risks of the teaching assistant's function at primary schools. All this information related to the topic of teaching assistants at lower primary schools is the basis for the research part of the paper, which is done through a qualitative research. The research is carried out at one selected primary school in Prague. The empirical part of the thesis maps examples of good practice, forms of co-operation between the teacher and the teaching assistant, a system of support at the selected school using materials provided by the school, and also focuses on mapping out the difficulties resulting from the co-operation of the teaching assistant and the teacher. This diploma thesis "Education of Pupils at Jedlička Institute and Schools" contains information about physically disabled pupils. The aim of the diploma thesis was to discover the needs and methods of physically disabled pupils' education. The research was focused on what teaching methods, didactic tools, compensation aids and other means and access to pupils are used by teachers at primary school. The diploma thesis includes an analysis of an asset of Jedlička Institute and Schools. The research uses the following methods: structured interviews with teachers and participant observation at primary school. The Diploma Thesis represents teachers' approach to the inclusion, and the inclusive education in a common primary school. The theoretical part provides information about the basic legislation in the field of inclusion, and explains terms such as integration, inclusion, inclusive education. It focuses on the supportive arrangements for pupils with special educational needs, and analyses specifics of inclusive settings in the concrete school. The practical part describes the research. The aim of the research was to point out the teachers' attitude towards the inclusion and to evaluate their experience with the inclusive settings at the concrete school. The research reveals positive as well as negative opinions. It also summarises difficulties regarding the inclusive education. The research points out that there is slightly more of a negative attitude among the teachers towards the inclusion, however more than half of the teachers feel the importance of inclusion regarding pupils with specific educational needs. For further development of inclusion, the teachers would appreciate a reduction of students in their working groups, as well as an increase number of teacher assistants. Integration of ADHD children in preschool age

ADHD Syndrome represents an attention disorder linked to hyperactivity taking shape since early childhood. The main aim is a description of the ADHD syndrome in children at pre-school age, and identification of whether it is or is not beneficial. One main research question is posed: Is integration of children with ADHD at pre-school age beneficial? Further, three other partial questions are posed: Is integration with the suport of a teaching assistant beneficial to the student? Is integration of children with ADHD beneficial to their classmates? Are teachers working with children informed enough about ADHD? The practical part of this bachelor thesis is processed using qualitative research method together with a group of teaching assistants having experience educating children with ADHD syndrome, implemented via the technique of a semi-structured interview. The first part of interviews is focused on the general data about informants. The second part is focused on the benefits of integrating children with ADHD at pre-school age. Questions in the third part are related to the benefits of integration of children with ADHD with the support of a teaching assistant. The fourth part of the interview is oriented toward the benefits of ADHD child integration for other students, and the last part is focused on teachers´ awareness about ADHD syndrome. Interviews are analysed and synthesised. The thesis reaches the following finding: the benefits of integrating children with ADHD cannot be unequivocally evaluated, while the benefits of integration with teaching assistant support can be evaluated as unequivocally positive. Integration benefits for classmates cannot be unequivocally evaluated. Further, the thesis finds out that teachers are not informed enough about ADHD syndrome.

Its aim is to find out how the support of pupils with visual impairment is provided at the elementary school established according to §16 Act no. 561/2004 Sb. - the education law, describes the conditions for providing optimal support for these pupils and suggests improving measures and procedures. The thesis is composed of the theoretical part and the research parts.
