The relation between the visitors of football matches and the club FK Dukla Praha

Title: The relation between the visitors of football matches and club FK Dukla Praha. Objectives: The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to find out, what influences the relation of the visitors of the football matches FK Dukla Praha to the football club. After that,there will be formulated a recommendatiton in this thesis, what kind of desirable steps should be done by the management of the club to pursuit the expectations of the visitors,watchers and fans, or if it should directly change some of the intentions, that should be related to the historical and social aspects. Methods: There is firstly done a research of the secondary data in this work. Then there are used as well kvantitative and kvalitative methods to gain primary data. To be concrete - those are semistructured interviews and kvantitative research. Results: The results of this work shows that the asked respondents, and mainly the generation Y, mostly don't have a relation to the club. Concurrently, there was found out,that the vision of the club is unclear and the influencing of the visitors is inhomogeneous. The problem of unclear concept is simultaneously found in case of fanclub of FK Dukla Praha. Vedoucí diplomové práce PhDr. Irena Reifová, Ph.D. Abstract This thesis in its theoretical work focuses on the topic parasocial interaction, a specific relationship between fans and celebrities. This fundamental concept is initially set in a broader context. Closer are characterized by celebrities as a publicly-known media figures, and the audience as active recipients of stimulus. There is a concept called. Ordinary stars, as well as focus on issues not only fandom, but also specific terms such as adoration and celebrity stalking celebrities. After outlining the basic theoretical insight is explored basic concept - parasocial relationship. The practical part with respect to the overall theme of the work is carried out using semi-structured interviews with rock stars, fans steady on one side and ordinary fans of the stars on the other. Based on the results and authentic materials are analyzed each category. The work aims to explore how similar concepts related to celebrities, as well as different approaches to media stars.
Czech media coverage of hooligans

The diploma thesis Sport rioting and its media coverage examines the way in which specified Czech media inform about rioting linked to sport events, in this case football mathches. The theoretical part of the thesis maps the history of sport fans, sociological and psychological background of football rioting as well as approaches to dealing with it. Likewise, it features theoretical points on the problematics of reality representation. The chosen cases and analysed media are presented in brief profiles. These are followed by the analytical part of the thesis, which employs qualitative content analysis of the specified media texts. The analysis examines content of the media outputs in the period of one week after the cases occurred. The goal of this thesis is to evaluate which language means the media used, how it framed the events and whether they resorted to tabloidization while reporting on them. Title: Public Relations tools and activities of ice-hockey team HKM Zvolen Goals: The objective is to analyze and appraise Public Relations tools and activities of ice- hockey club HKM Zvolen which are aimed at target group of fans. As a follow-up to the executed analysis and appraisal other possible solutions of effective communication with fans, that would lead to improvement of club's name, increasing its popularity among the public and mainly enlargement of fans basement connected with higher fans attendance of home games, will be suggested. Methods: The determinated objective is achieved by using analysis of documents and texts followed by descriptive analysis which were the base for creating summary of Public Relations tools and activities towards fans basement of ice-hockey club HKM Zvolen. To gain more detail information, which is not accessible to the public, cooperation with club's management in form of interview was very helpful. Results: The result of this paper is elaborated analysis and summary of PR communication of ice-hockey club HKM Zvolen with its fans during the previous season 2013/2014. Behaviour of the football fans-media image and its counterparts

This work deals with the development of football fans under the influence of the media. Approaching, what factors affect the behavior of fans at the stadium and beyond and what are the consequences of their actions. Thesis is based on the methods of investigation of processes and interactions. Basic sources of information in addition to the observation of the author and literature are interviews with personalities from the football society. These include sports journalists, club officials and fans themselves. The work is divided into two parts. The first provides a theoretical basis, which describes the development of football fans after the Velvet Revolution, the non-media effects on behavior and the possible consequences of their interactions. The second part is based primarily on interviews and tries to answer the research question if the media play a crucial role in the development and behavior of football fans. In the final analysis, the author will, based on his knowledge, apart from its answer, offer opportunities for further development, as well as a theory, which factors may contribute to the future behavior of fans. Media image of fans culture in Gambrinus liga stadiums in season 2013/2014

This Bachelor's thesis aims to describe the media image of fans culture in Czech football stadiums in season 2013/2014. Many events happened in this particular season of Gambrinus League that then turned attention of media, the Czech Football Association and the general public to hooliganism. Especially, it was the disturbance during the half-time break of Baník Ostrava vs Sparta Prague match. After the match, the Czech Football Association decided to follow safety standards strictly and told the referees to interrupt matches when vulgar chants or offensive banners appear. However, this attitude of the Czech Football Association made football fans even more angry and tension in the stands escalated. This brought three other significant affairs, which this paper includes - the Prague derby between Sparta and Slavia, Teplice vs Sparta match and the Česká pošta Cup Final. The research is based on the observations from the following media: Mladá fronta DNES, the most read Czech broadsheet, and Sport - the only Czech daily newspaper focused solely on sport.

COMMUNICATION STRATEGY OF THE SOCCER CLUB SK SLAVIA PRAHA AND PROPOSALS OF ITS IMPROVEMENT Objectives: The objective of this research is the establishment of communication strategies of an organization SK Slavia Praha Football Club for the upcoming season. This project will be completed based on the analysis of the club's current communication mix as well as current communication distribution channels with the club's fan base. Methods: For the research various methods were used such as the case study, the analysis of the documents, the interviews and the SWOT analysis. The case study was applied during the research of the current club's communication strategy with its fan base, the analysis of the documents for the evaluation of the club's communication mix, the SWOT analysis for the evaluation of the communication mix and interviews for obtaining the essential information from the individuals involved. Results: A new project of the club's communication strategy was established, which includes the improved communication mix of the club, the communication strategy project with the most important fans' organizations as well as a communication strategy project with the club's youth. Attendance in the Gambrinus League in the years 2008 - 2013

Name: Spectator Attendance of the "Gambrinus" League between 2008 - 2013 Objectives: Thema in objective of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the spectator attendance of the "Gambrinus" League between 2008 - 2013 and to pinpoint and evaluate the factors which influence said attendance. Furthermore, based on the available data, a secondary objective is to propose some measures which would result in an increase in the spectator attendance of the "Gambrinus" League. Methods: In this thesis, the method of statistical analysis has mainly been applied. It was applied to analyse the appeal of the "Gambrinus" League and its spectator attendance depending on selected factors. Results: The spectator attendance of the "Gambrinus" League between 2008 - 2013 has been evaluated and analysed. Important spectator factors have been specified and their influence on the attendance has been evaluated. A strong correlation between the attendance and the appeal of the team has been ascertained. In addition, based on the available data, diverse measures, which would result in an increase in both long and short term attendance, have been proposed.
