Which way to language: to the theme of language with Martin Heidegger

This thesis deals with the issue of language in order to reach at least halfway through - to the word as word and the crucial role of reading. Therefore I deliberately begin with seemingly unrelated topics such as science, art and technology. This should clear the way to the tongue to be showed at the end that the language is not only in the actual speaking, but primarily lie in such call, which is reading.
Development of Greek mosaics in the Hellenistic period

This Master thesis deals with the development, mainly the technological development of the Greek mosaics in the Hellenistic period. Mosaics of the late Classical period are also included in this work as the early Hellenistic mosaic pavements continued to use and improve the late Classical technique. With respect to the technological aspect it is important to describe the production process, sources of which also exist in the ancient literature. The working environment and the organization of the mosaicists or other craftsmen involved can be to some extent reconstructed based on the archaeological finds. The next part of the thesis is concerned with the architectural context, the function and the meaning of the Greek mosaics. Certain hierarchy of the mosaic importance and the meaning can be identified on the basis of their motifs, the technique of the performance and their location inside the building. Furthermore, it is examined, how spaces of private houses changed with mosaics from the late Classical to the late Hellenistic times. Reality and dream

Žemlová, M.: Reality and dream. [Diploma thesis] Prague 2016 - Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Education, Art Education Department, p. 91, (annexes: two pieces of own art work) The subject of this thesis is an individual concept of the main theme - reality and dream. The author sees this theme through her own intensive experience, connecting it with the pedagogical practice and fine art. The thesis is divided into three parts, where the first, theoretical, discusses imaging of themes connected with a woman and motherhood, offering a parallel of the traditional male view and female concept of the present. The didactic part brings a search for the ideal way - dream - in an environment hostile to art education at private vocational school. The practical part presents the author's own art work reflecting her personal experience with motherhood. Paraphrase classical artwork - a didactic transformation and application of topics in art education

IN ENGLISH This thesis has the character of theoretical studies on the topic paraphrase a classic work of art and its subsequent didactic applications for that grade school. It solves the problems of paraphrasing in the visual arts. It characterizes the aspects related to the topic, such as analysis and structure of a work of art. It focuses on the theory of shape as the basic building blocks of artwork and associated topics, which are: quotes, interpretation, image transformations and alterations. Art work is a continuation of a previous bachelor thesis, which dealt with the issue of land. It deals with the transformation of the original image resulting from the help of manipulation of individual shapes in the image, replacing the existing design to a new one. They are created in the form of the photographs from the area of pre-defined landscape Didactic section applies subject paraphrase the selected school and verifies and theoretical knowledge in practice. It depicts the topic paraphrase as a whole. The objective is to try and understand the basic principles that apply to paraphrase.
Gallery and museum education of differently abled pupils

The work deals with finding the position of the gallery / museum education in art education for children with special educational needs. The first part is devoted to the theoretical background of the topic, explains the basic terms (visual literacy, gallery / museum education). A substantial part is devoted to research in the field of the gallery / museum education in art education for children with special educational needs. The survey has a qualitative charakter and trying to describe possibilities and limits of children with disabilities in the gallery programs. At the same time provides essential findings on the form of art education in concrete school achieved through an analysis of the relevant curriculum documents and interviews with teachers. For the processing of the acquired data are used qualitative research methods. The work aims to identify a design of concrete the relevant curriculum document. Art of the work takes the form of educational materials.
The Anthropology of Art: Studies in Etnoaesthetics

The term "primitive art" was used to denote the tribal "art" of those people in Africa, Americas, Asia, Australia and Oceania who were the objects of ethnological or anthro- pological study. As such, it corresponds to the area of so called art that has has often (and unsatisfactory) been called tribal, primitive, aboriginal, native, indigenous or traditional etc. This thesis provides general introduction to some anthropological perspectives on art, and offers variety of approaches to the uneasy concept of art as is defined in our culture. Three case studies show ethnoaesthetic topics (paleolithic rockart, african hairstyles and also tattooing of human bodies in traditional Polynesian cultures).
Art spaces in geographical contexts: the case of Karlovy Vary

This bachelor thesis is devoted to art spaces in Karlovy Vary and geographical contexts related to them. By using interviews with representatives of these spaces is obtained the image of culture of Karlovy Vary from a spaces players' perspective. Geographical context was understood by various levels of the scale, from the close environs to the influence of international events. Next research question was devoted to political and economic influences on the cultural life of the city and eventually it was turned attention to the net of mutual relations between culture players in Karlovy Vary. The thesis pointed to the contradictoriness of contemporary cultural situation of the city, which is the expression of the imbalance between the free activity of art spaces and the pressure to the economic profit. Visual Culture and Religion

(in English): This thesis wants to introduce the visual culture as an interesting method for religious studies to research religious aspects of images, their relation to the society and the ways of using them. The text summarizes previous discussion about visual culture and the relation between visual culture and art history. It also briefly introduces the relation between art and religion and describes the relation between art history and religious images. Then it presents chosen topics from visual culture, which are interesting for religious studies, in particular the theory of the gaze, importance of the context of images and the ways in which images can invoke a spontaneous response in the viewer.
Creativity in visual arts

Motivation seems to be one of the important variables which might have an effect on creativity. It can have a positive but also a negative impact on creativity. In this thesis motivations of fine artists are examined and the extent to which art might effect personality profile of fine artists is considered. In theoretical part, firstly, art, forms of art and the psychology of art are defined. Further artwork as a product of artistic process, structure of personality and specifically the personality of fine artists are described. A complexity of creativity as a phenomenon is presented. Finally motivation from the social psychology of creativity point of view is explained. The aim of this master thesis is to examine certain psychosocial personality traits of fine artists by the Achievement Motivation Inventory LMI and discovered whether there are significant differences in personality traits of fine artists and control group of "non-artists" interested in economy and business (n=63). Our results support the foreign studies results and indicate that artists score significantly higher in Flow, Pride in Productivity and Independence. This bachelor thesis consists of the Czech translation of a part of the first chapter (Judaism: The Journey of the Soul) from a book edited by Steven Rosen Ultimate Journey: Death and Dying in the World's Major Religions and a commentary on the translation. The commentary comprises an analysis of the source text (using an adapted form of Ch. Nord's pattern), a concept of translation method, a detailed description of translation problems and their solutions and a typology of translation shifts.
