Further education of secondary school pedagogic workers in the Central Bohemia region

The present thesis focuses on further education of pedagogical personnel at high schools in Central Bohemia Region. The aim of this thesis is to explore, whether the teaching staff continue with their education. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is split into two chapters which offer definitions of key words and explain the basic terms closely related to further education of pedagogical personnel. The following chapter describes the implementation of further education of pedagogical personnel, educational methods and tools. The theoretical part also deals with gaining financial sources for further education. The practical part of the thesis is split into two chapters employing the method of questionnaire survey which was sent to the teaching staff in the Central Bohemia Region. This method was used to explore the motivation of pedagogical personnel to continue their education, and to monitor the conditions for their education. In the conclusion, the thesis adverts to several recommendations arising from the questionnaire survey.
Implementation of Didactic Game in Teaching of Basics of Civics and Social Sciences in the area Citizens in a State

This diploma thesis focuses on didactic games and their use during the lessons of social sciences at grammar schools. It mainly deals with the area of political science. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part looks into a didactic game itself, its significance for people, its role in education and the philosophical approach to didactic games. Not only a game from the didactic point of view, but also project teaching, which is closely related to this topic, are covered. The practical part is based on monitoring of selected schools. This part focuses on preparation of particular teaching topics and their subsequent analysis from the teachers' point of view. The aim of my dissertation Autism and a financial literacy is comparing the differences between the education of autistic pupils at special elementary schools or at elementary school in inclusion….. Next monitoring the summary of financial literacy of autistics. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part contains the information about autism, the list of autistic disorders, methods and possibilities of training of autistic pupils and describes possible causes of its formation. In the practical part I describe the differences between the education of autistic pupils at special elementary school and in inclusion at elementary school ….The research is concerned with the summary and the comparison of financial literacy knowledge of an autistic pupil at primary school with his healthy schoolmates.

And then describe educational methods and adopting of knowledge and skills for students with learning disabilities. I also aimed on role and attitude of teachers in education of pupils with learning disabilities. Through questionnaire inquiry I was investigating readiness and forms of education by teachers of foreign languages in this problematics, with evaluation of collected data and final summarization of this problematics. Work should serve not only for academical purposes, but also for informing teachers of foreign languages and choosing of their future work in educational process of pupils with specific learning disabilities. Activating function of a didactic game in the foreign language education at primary school

The thesis focuses on using the activating function of a didactic game as a method in the English lessons at primary school. It looks for the arguments supporting using the game at school, the obstacles causing problems using it and suggests possible solutions. The research part seeks different usage of didactic games in real environment, different favour of particular types of games and their relationship to the educational aim. There are found connections between children's age and their positive feelings towards different kinds of games and their ability to reach the educational aim.
Competences and their development in the new scout educational program

The thesis deals with the development of key competences through Scout training. It focuses on the transformation of educational program in the Junák - Association of Scouts and Guides of the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The first part describes the history, the mission and ideals of Scouting. It deals with the development of Scouting in Czechoslovakia (or the Czech Republic) after 1990 and also explains how Junák is perceived by the public. It was found out by studies that were done in 2003. This thesis compares the historical and current educative documents that are used to support the development of children and young people's personalities. The thesis describes the initial impulses that led to the program's modification. Also the system of competences, which is essential for the new program, is developed in the thesis. The practical part contains instructions and suggestions for effective development of skills and deals with the further education for scout leaders. The work is accompanied by attachments that contain examples of previous and modern materials and a table summarizing the development of competences.

Title: Comparison between educational methods and organizational teaching styles of a second language within the scope of the compulsory education and the education in a leisure time Abstract: This diploma thesis deals with the topic of educational methods and organizational teaching styles and their contribution to the effectiveness of second language teaching and learning. It also concerns with other circumstances that influence students in their learning. The theoretical basis for this purpose is provided by the theoretical part that introduces theoretical views on student's motivation, the role represented by teaching organization, applied methods, assessment of students and the personality of a teacher as described in professional literature. The practical part presents conclusions that were reached by questionnaires, discussions and interviews realized with students and teachers. It offers their opinions of factors influencing the effectiveness of teaching that they compared within the scope of the high school education and the education realized by language schools in the form of post- graduate classes.
