Term: Tips on improving effectivity of women's strenght abilities stimulation through stabilization system exercise Thesis object: Verify the effectiveness of exercises on stability system of women to boost power capacity and compare the differences in the results of tested men and women. Methods: The thesis uses randomized selection method, comparative method and logical analysis. Conclusion: The results indicated a possible way to increase the effectiveness of strength training women. In our experiment, women, which trained with balance aids reached higher improvement compared with the second group in all indicators. This thesis deals with the public procurement and the influence of various economic and political aspects on the achieved efficiency of their competitive contracting in municipalities. The theoretical part of the thesis provides an overview of the classic arguments justifying the existence of public procurement and use of competitive contracting for the provision of public services, nevertheless, it also points to certain drawbacks associated with it. Furthermore, the author attempts to describe the possible link between the concentration of political power in the bodies of municipalities and the effectiveness of competition mechanism in public procurement, which is an issue that is still uncharted in the literature. At the end the main aspects of the legislation on public procurement in the Czech Republic are mentioned. The aim of the empirical part of the thesis was to test hypotheses arising from the theoretical part employing econometric methods on a sample of public contracts awarded in the capital and 23 statutory towns in the Czech Republic during the electoral period 2006-2010. The effect of agri-environmental schemes on biodiversity

The aim of thesis is summary of current results of scientific publications evaluating effectiveness of agri-environmental measures in the relation to biodiversity. This work deals with this issue in Europe, characterizes the situation in selected European countries and evaluate the effectiveness of compensation schemes and individual measures on selected groups of organisms. It also deals with the factors influencing the effectiveness and methodical approaches of evaluation studies. Results of studies suggest a low to medium efficiency of allover measures for plants and invertebrates and low efficiency for birds. Conversely targeted measures had a high efficiency, but their overall significance was very low due to small proportion of land compared to the horizontal measures.The worst situation was in the Netherlands, in other countries the results were relatively similar.

Effectiveness of Cycling Transport Infrastructure Investment in Regional Development. Region Orlicko-Třebovsko Case Study.

This paper evaluates the benefits of investments in cycling infrastructure for regional development. The case study deals with socio-economic impacts of cycling transport infrastructure built for the Orlicko-Třebovsko region. The main thesis does not assume profitability of such investments in socio-economic realm of the region. Overall societal benefit has been assessed through the cost-benefit analysis. Individual elements of the analysis are focused on short-term, long-term, direct and indirect effects for the development of the region. The benefits are to be found in connection with implementation, management and operation of the project as well as transport sector, services sector and recreation. Specific positive effects take mainly the form of business sales, employment and savings for the population. The analysis has taken note of certain positive effect that is nevertheless economically inadequate to the amount of initial investment. Therefore in this case cycling transport infrastructure proved to be ineffective tool of regional development.

Title: Comparison between educational methods and organizational teaching styles of a second language within the scope of the compulsory education and the education in a leisure time Abstract: This diploma thesis deals with the topic of educational methods and organizational teaching styles and their contribution to the effectiveness of second language teaching and learning. It also concerns with other circumstances that influence students in their learning. The theoretical basis for this purpose is provided by the theoretical part that introduces theoretical views on student's motivation, the role represented by teaching organization, applied methods, assessment of students and the personality of a teacher as described in professional literature. The practical part presents conclusions that were reached by questionnaires, discussions and interviews realized with students and teachers. It offers their opinions of factors influencing the effectiveness of teaching that they compared within the scope of the high school education and the education realized by language schools in the form of post- graduate classes. Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Health Care Facilities

The aim of the thesis is to map out the possibilities of measuring the effectiveness of health care facilities and a practical example of the one found methods to use. In the introduction there are explained the terms efficiency and effectiveness. The next section describes the specifics of health care facilities in terms of their performance and the economy. Options of measuring efficiency in health care are identified mainly through literature. Detailed view of a practical part is dedicated to the modern method of measuring the effectiveness the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). In the practical part using the chosen tools is evaluated the effectiveness of a sample of hospitals. The conclusion summarizes the possibilities of measuring the effectiveness and assesses the benefits of using DEA.

Coaching as a method of increasing work efficiency

The goal of thesis is identify coaching and practical experience in the workplace. Base of the thesis is on coaching as a method of increasing work efficiency. Subsequent study focus on the specific workplace where is already practice coaching. Thesis is divided in two parts. The theoretical part defines the terms coaching, coach and team coaching, wich are used in practical part. Practical part is consist of data obtain on basis of survey in specific workplace and transcription of coach interview based on which evaluated the effectiveness of coaching.
