Development strategy of the selected school

The diploma thesis focuses on the area of strategic management of a selected educational organization, which is a vocational school. In the theoretical part of the diploma thesis, attention is paid to the theoretical basis, that is the field of education, management in a broader context and strategic management with specifics in education. The diploma thesis also focuses on the selected educational organization and its characteristics, and the general specifics of special schools. The research part analyzes the current state of management of the organization and using interviews and a questionnaire survey information is obtained to meet the goal of the thesis, to compile a development strategy for a selected organization. The aim of the thesis is to develop a draft strategy for the development of the selected school, based on an analysis of the current state of school management using the results of a questionnaire survey and interviews and in connection with the strategic documents of the educational policy of the Czech Republic, including the use of the results of projects developed at the national level for the issue under investigation. Health Education Teaching Means for Two-Year Practical Schools

The diploma thesis focuses on health education teaching materials used in two-year practical schools. The aim of the work was to design worksheets in three levels of difficulty that could be used in teaching. Qualitative research was used in the work. The presentation and worksheets were designed after analyzing the Framework Educational Program of two-year practical schools. The partial aim of the work was to use interviews with teachers to map the health education teaching materials they use for their teaching, and to find out how they evaluate the presented worksheets and whether they are useful for them in pedagogical practice. The result of the work is a proposal for five lessons on the topic of Healthy lifestyle with a presentation and worksheets in three levels of difficulty. The worksheets are modified according to the evaluation of the teachers to whom the worksheets were submitted. Both the worksheets and the presentations were evaluated positively, but they still needed to be partially modified to meet the teachers' expectations. In the appendix, modified worksheets are presented, which can be used in the practice of practical two-year schools.
The Use of Art Therapy Techniques in Special Education

This thesis is coming from the special pedagogy field transformation anticipated by its specialists; with this closely comes an expansion of the tool and competence range of a special pedagogue. The aim and major topic of this thesis is to describe and introduce the techniques and processes of art therapy, which can be used especially by special pedagogues. To this purpose serves humastically oriented direction of art therapy; herein used for the techniques description. The possible art theraypy methods impact is divided in three areas; activation and refreshment, relaxation, social interaction and communication. This division is completed with individual exercises examples and description of their usage within various groups. The text of this thesis also contains a special pedagogic evolution overview and description of its contemporary trends, a chapter dedicated to art, a brief overview of other expressive therapies and an individual chapter of art therapy.
Eating disorder

This thesis summarizes the multifactorial causes of eating disorders in the context of current socio-cultural determinants, with a special focus on children and adolescents. The theoretical background for this thesis, as specified in the introduction, is a general overview of the possible causes, occurrence, course, prognosis, and diagnostic criteria of eating disorders, with an emphasis on younger school age and adolescent age. The central topic of my Bachelor's thesis is a questionnaire-based survey of the knowledge, recognition abilities, interventions, general attitudes towards the issue, and the implementation of primary prevention of eating disorders among members of the teaching staff in the sixth to ninth grades of normal elementary schools. The secondary objective of the thesis is to provide statistical data for the last five years due to the increase in the number and hospitalization rate of paediatric and adolescent patients with eating disorders at the Clinic of Paediatric Psychiatry and the incidence of these disorders in combination with a dual diagnosis. The comparative method and a questionnaire were used in this thesis.
Reflections of ideas to support children with disabilities in the thesis of František Čáda and Its overlap with the current special education

Anotation The aim of thesis is to measure the contribution of prominent professor František Čáda for the formation of Czech special education in the context of 20th century to the present overlap. The effort is based on archival materials processed to show František Čáda personal life, his public activity and importance for the development of Czech special education. The basis of the work consists of materials arising from the activities of František Čáda, correspondence, memoir literature, history and current knowledge of the published literature from the field pedopsychologie. Finally, the thesis uses the memories of a son František Čáda.
Role individual education plans in education process in elementary school pupils with defect learning

The bachelor work is aimed at the essence of individually educational plans in pupils with specific defects in learning. The first chapter of the theoretical part is aimed at the specification and the division of specific defects in learning. In the second chapter I occupy with the possibilities of the support and education of the pupils suffering specific defects in learning as well as the creation and contents of individually educational plans. The last chapter of the theoretical part is aimed at the legislative framework of the education of pupils with above-mentioned defects. In the practical part of my bachelor work I take heed of a pupil in a primary school who suffers from this specific defect. This part contains casuistic of a pupil, his family and personal anamnesis and individually educational plan. The pupil's activities in the range of ten months are described here. At the end I assess his progress in the above-mentioned areas. The objective of my bachelor work is to find out to what extend can individually educational plans enforce within the educational process and how can a pupil develop within the selected areas under the regular activities according to the individually educational plan.
Special educational support of clients of Home for Visually Impaired People Palata

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is comprehensive description and characteristics of special educational activities used at Home For Visually Impaired People Palata. Thesis consists of several chapters which initially deal with senior age issue, then the issue of elderly with vision impairment, and then the matter of spare time in context of quality of life of senior citizens. In the last section we find the characteristic of special educational activities at Palata, their specifics for seniors with vision impairment, and description of the process. The purpose of this thesis is to give a summary of special educational activities at Home For Visually Impaired People Palata, and thanks to analyses of these activities, observation and analysis of professional literature, to demonstrate the importance and need for these activities in facilities for the elderly. Taring advantages of drama therapy in individuals

The first part of the bachelor's thesis deals with the mental retardation, determination, classification and etiology. It is emphasising importance of the education of the child with light mental disability, which is possible to be used in form of the therapeutic-formative intervention. The second part of the bachelor's thesis deals with the area of drama therapy that describes the therapeutic-formative approach. It refers to possibilities of application of the drama therapeutic techniques and exercises in area of treatment of the children with mild mental disablement. The third part of the bachelor's thesis focuses on the proposal of the drama therapeutic programme, which main contribution is development of the verbal and nonverbal communication abilities. There is a presentation of ten lessons of the drama therapy programme with focus on the prevention of problems in the communication.
