Tabakismus pupils at sixth classes in selected primary schools in Litvinov ABSTRACT: The aim of this work is focused on the tobacco problems at pupils in 6th grade in primary schools in Litvinov. I'll try to find out if the number of this pupils who use tobacco products is alarming or if it is only in some cases. I focused on this age group because the puberty starts and also they come from first level to second level in primary schools. This work will be focused on how can these teenagers reach cigarettes, if there is an influence from Litvinov, where they live and meet their freinds, school, which they visit or from parents. The research will be conducted by the surveys. The researches on children and adolescents from a sphere of tabakism precede this survey, also a psychosomatic development and a prevention of this socially pathological behavior in primary schools. Personal Sport Equipment of FTVS UK Students

Title: Personal sport equipment of FTVS UK students Objectives: Main objective of this diploma thesis to find out personal sports equipment of studentes by survey method. The goal is to analyze students sport equipment for their personal use and ownership, how much financial resorces students invests into sport and at the same time use analysis to determine which sports are prefered by students and which sport brands are the most popuplar. Methods: Main tool for obtaining necessary datas, which are used in our diploma thesis, is the questionare in online form. To evaluate obtaine datas from our respondents we have used statistical methods. In the introduction we have checked and classified, determined in the next step of research process (analysis of answers). This allowed us to research mutual relations between indvidual categories. Another methods that we used were for example: analysis and synthetis, scientific abstract, comparation method, mathematical and statistical methods. Results: From our research it is obvious that the students invest significant amont of their financial resorces into sports equipment. Principles of nutrition for leisure physical activity

Title Principles of nutrition for leisure physical activities Objectives: The aim of this study was to determine how the students of Charles University compliance diet and whether they comply with the principles of good nutrition for leisure activities. The operational objective was also to their assess knowledge in a knowledge test, which was part of the research. Methods: In this work, a quantitative method was used. Obtain the necessary information has been compiled questionnaire was divided into four parts and focused on principles of good nutrition. The group of respondents consisted of 215 students from Charles University, which was established premise that deal with leisure activities. Collected data were processed and interpreted using the statistic characteristics and for better clarity were graphically depicted. Results: It was found that students under the age of 35 years, which took part in the research, have a good theoretical knowledge of the principles of healthy nutrition. Title: Knowledge of rowing between students of Czech University of Life Sciences Prague and Charles University, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport. Objectives: The main objective of this work is to compare the knowledge breadth of the students of the sports-oriented faculty with faculty (university) which is not focused on sport fields. Another objective is to explore students' general knowledge of the sport of rowing. Methods: The quantitative research was used to determine the necessary information, using personal interviews with questionnaires. The questionnaire on the given subject was created before the interview, which was then completed by the 152 respondents from the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague and Charles University, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport. Results: Based on the obtained data, we can say that the surveyed students of the sports Faculty of Physical Education and Sport have a wider knowledge of rowing than respondents of the Czech University of Life Sciences. In summary, all the respondents have an only basic knowledge of rowing. The name of the Czech rowing representative said only 51% of all respondents. Title: The interest in outdoor activities of students from selected primary schools in Kladno district, by gender and residence Objectives: To find out which outdoor activities students from selected primary schools in Kladno district are interested in, specifically which outdoor activities they do and which they would like to learn. Furthermore, to find out what experience with outdoor activities students have and to compare results by gender and place of residence. Method: The research has been performed by quantitative method. To support gathering and collecting necessary inputs specific questionnaire was compiled for students of the 9th grade of primary schools. The research sample consisted of 204 respondents. Gathered inputs have been graphically processed and evaluated. Results: Primary schools offer to teach their students outdoor activities more during sports courses, school in nature and school trips than in physical education classes. Most of these students have experience with outdoor activities from school events, mainly with hiking, alpine skiing and motion games in the natural environment. More students have experiences with outdoor activities from outside the school than from the school. This bachelor thesis inquires into the reflection of "The Battle of the Symbols of the University" on the pages of Přítomnost. It charts editor's offices stances to nationalism is the Czechoslovak society in the first half of 1930's. The thesis insists on the representative choice of articles of Přítomnost and on archive materials to describe the event. The objective of the work is to bring the sum of stances of magazine to the students, nationalism, relation between Czech and Germen people an "The Battle of the Symbols of the University" in the first half of 1930's. The work charts the stances of the Czechoslovak society, which is represented by the magazine Přítomnost.

Miroslav Eisenhammer Forced use of secondary school students during the occupation Supervisor: PhDr. Jan Gebhart, CSc., DSc. Abstract This dissertation deals with yet completely unprocessed issue of forced labor deployment of secondary and vocational school pupils in the Czech lands during the occupation by Nazi Germany. After the initial characteristics of the development of the German and the Protectorate economy and the Nazi attitude to use workforce of its own population and of occupied countries, the other chapter is devoted to the situation in the Czech education in 1939-1945. The Nazis considered the Czech intelligence as the enemy, so after the closure of Czech universities they deliberately restricted Czech secondary education. These restrictions did not have only national political, but also economic significance. From 1939 workers from the Czech lands were sent to work in the Reich. This trend increased significantly from 1942, when Germany intensified the expansion of war production and at the same time they started extensive program of forced labor of foreign workers in German industry. One of the labor sources were secondary school pupils, who the new legislation from February 1943 allowed to acknowledge de facto incomplete education based on the confirmed certificate in forced labor...
The Arab Students in Prague in 1950s and 1960s

The thesis focuses on the phenomenon of students from the so-called less developed countries in communist Czechoslovakia, specifically Arab students in the 50s and 60s of the twentieth century. In the first part the issue is put into a broader context of political and cultural connections. Apart from the situation inside the Arab region after the Second World War, the work offers insight into the mutual Czechoslovak-Arab contacts followed by a recap of Czechoslovak tertiary education after the year 1948. The text also presents the general situation of international students in the Czech environment in the observed era. Because it was the first wave of Arab scholarship holders supported by the Czechoslovak government to arrive at the end of the 50s, it is crucial to describe the shape of negotiation between the Czechoslovak and Arab sides. At the beginning of the second thematic part dealing with Arab students in Prague the attention is shifted towards cultural agreements and forms of studies in Czechoslovakia. The Czechoslovak school system in Great Britain (1940-1945)

Summary: The work deals with the educational system of the Czechoslovak Government-in-exile during the Second World War. The need for Czechoslovak youth education was in this time connected with political education and also with the publicity of Czechoslovak exile among British Allies. Therefore the work classifies the provided education and it also deals with future plans for the students. Educational department of Ministry of Interior had the leading role in the education, and therefore its history and organization is also defined. Czechoslovak education took place in a foreign country, so a cooperation was required. The influence of British authorities on Czechoslovak schools, that followed Czech laws valid before autumn 1938, is described. The cooperation between both states in the post-war situation is also studied, as well as the impact of the exile education on its students after their return to the homeland.
Learning Styles of Students of Secondary Schools

This thesis is focused on learning styles of students of secondary schools, particularly of secondary vocational schools. It is divided in two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the definitions of basic terms as learning, learner and meaningful learning. It also analysis the term learning style and other related terms, such as cognitive style. Final section of the theoretical part is dedicated to mesurement and influencing od leraning styles as a preparation for practical part. Practical part consists of quantitative research of learning style at secondary schools, with a focus on finding the prevailing learning style at secondary schools, comparing different types of schools in terms of learning style and proposing potential work with negative learning style, specifically on recommendations to change learning style towards meaningful learning.
