Action of school special education teacher in inclusion support of pupils with specific learning disabilities in primary school

The diploma thesis deals with the activities od a school special pedagogue at a primary school focused od the re-educational support od pupils with specific leasing disabilities. The theoretical part focuses on the definitiv od the profession of a school special pedagogue, its legislative definition and qualifications. The activities of the school special pedagogue, legislative definition and qualifications. The activities of the school special pedagogue in the framework of inklusive education, inklusive education and procedures for its implementation in elementary schools are described. The individual activities of a school special pedagogue falling within the copetences resulting from profession are defined with a focus on re-education procedures for pupils with specific learning disorders with a focus on pupils with dyslexia. The practical part in the form of empirical research dealt with the creation of a re- education procedure inspired by the methods used for the development of cognitive functions of persons with disabilities especially for persons with hearing a visual impairments. Analysis of the working position of the school special educator at primary school schools in the Ceske Budejovice district

This diploma thesis deals with the work´s position of the school special educator at primary school schools in the Ceske Budejovice district. The theoretical part is dividend into five chapters, which contains theoretical basis associated with the processed issues. The part describes the education of pupils with special educational needs and support measures. Other chapters deal for example with the school counseling system and with the work´s position of the special school pedagogue. The practical part deals with quantitative research, using a survey research was found basic identification data, concerning desribed position of pedagogue worker. Other research is bassed on qualitative method, using semi-structured conversation to get answers to research questions. The diploma thesis points to work´s position of the special school pedagogue. It describes it´s real workload in primary school. Other described the role of the school special pedagogues themselves and which is their idea of further work direction. The questionnaire survey showed that in the district of Ceské Budejovice there are 15 school special pedagogues in mainstream primary schools, where only women hold this position. This is a more experienced school special pedagogue. It was also found that the position of school special pedagogue will be increasingly in demand, according to respondents.
The role of special educationalist at the grammar school

The presented bachelor thesis is devoted to the topic of special pedagogue at school directly from the point of view of special pedagogues working at primary schools. The main goal of the work was to describe the role of a special pedagogue at a primary schools, to analyze its scope of work and to describe the position of a special pedagogue in a pedagogical team at a primary school. Qualitative research, method of questioning and technique of semi-controlled interview were used to achieve the goal of this work. I decided to set three research questions. All of these questions were focused on the activities performed by a special pedagogue; on the target group special pedagogue works with and on the position that special pedagogue occupies in the pedagogical team. The research samples were determined to be special pedagogues working at primary schools in Prague and in Pilsen. There were seven respondents in the interview. The obtained information pieces of information were evaluated using open coding and presented in the form of data categorization. The results of the research show that the role of school special pedagogues in primary schools is perceived by members of the pedagogical team as beneficial, even as indispensable. The information obtained from respondents is largely lined up with the literature and legislation concerning special pedagogues and educators. Interviews with respondents helped to gain a deeper insight into the activities that special pedagogues perform at primary schools and what problems they might be facing during their work. The results of this work can bring vital information about this position to students who would like to become special pedagogues at school. Furthermore, this work can be not only useful for the public, who will learn more about the role of the special pedagogue, but also gain insight into pedagogue's activities and can outline the possibilities that arise for them, if this position is established in their primary school.
Support for pupils with specific learning disabilities at the 2nd level of a selected primary school

The thesis focuses on the identification of support for pupils with specific learning disabilities at a selected elementary school. The theoretical chapters are focused on defining the terms of specific learning disabilities, their aetiology, defining individual types of learning disabilities, their diagnoses and the possibilities of their re-education and intervention. It also deals with the system of education and legislation in the Czech Republic, basic education with the framework educational programme for basic education, the counselling system in schools and school counselling facilities. It focuses on the personality of a pupil with SLD, their education and types of learning preferences. The thesis presents a research investigation focused on the implementation of support for pupils with SLD, which was carried out at an elementary school for pupils with specific learning disabilities using semi-structured interviews, observations and a questionnaire survey. At the end of the thesis, partial research questions concerning the support and motivation of pupils with SLD at a selected elementary school are answered. School counselling centre and its role at the first and second grade of the elementary shool

v anglickém jazyce: The Bachelor thesis is dealing with the functioning of the school counselling centre on the first and second grade of the elementary school. The theoretical part consists of themes as the development of school counselling centres, their aims and the description of the whole counselling system. There is also a description of the work of the particular specialists representing this centre. I search for and examine the pupils' satisfaction or dissatisfaction at school and their problems concerning school and family environment in the empiric part. I focus on the children being able or willing to deal with their problems with these specialists. The question is also if the pupils have sufficient information and knowledge to whom they can turn with their troubles.
Work of a school special educational advisor in a school counseling centre

This thesis concerns the profession of the school special educational advisorr working in a mainstream primary school and his acting in favor of pupils with learning difficulities. The theoretical part describes the group of pupils with whom the school special educational advisor works and possibilities of this work, the cooperation with other partners (teachers, professionals and institutions outside the school and pupils' parents ) in supporting those pupils and the three-stage model of care for pupils at risk in school development. The practical part in the form of qualitative research examines how school special educational advisors acting in primary schools in Prague see themselves in their profession. Role of special education teacher at elementary school

The purpose of this master thesis is to investigate the role of special education teacher at elementary school in the present condition. It's concerned especially with the position at school, with the activities and methods of the work and with the professional relationships. The theoretical part focuses on the development of the special education and mainly on the contemporaray special arrangements. This master thesis describes the groups of pupils who need the arrangement from the school and other school institutions. The text shows the charakteristics of individual eduactional plans and of school consultancy services, including the special education teacher and the particular aspects of this profession, based on scientific literature. The empirical part is based on the mixed research. It schows the examples of the practice, the issue is the analysis of five interviews with special education teachers from the basic schools. These interviews illustrative the current role and activities of this profession. The bachelor thesis is focused on the counselling system in the Czech Republic and its use by secondary school pupils. It will be divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part will describe the brief history of the counselling system in the Czech Republic and the legislation related to the individual components of the counselling system specifically school counselling centers and school counsel-ling facilities. The following chapters will then provide an in depth illustration of school counselling centers and school counselling facilities and services provided to pupils. The methods of processing the theoretical part will be the study of print-ed and electronic sources, analysis, comparison of findings and synthesis. In the practical part of the work, a survey will be carried out, the aim of which is to find out the pupils' awareness of the offer of counselling services, the degree and rea-sons for their use and the satisfaction of the pupils with the provided services. The survey will take place at the Secondary School of Hotel and Services in Kroměříž. The respondents will be apprentice students. The diploma thesis deals with the activities of a special educator at a regular elementary school. Thesis is interested in his position and role in the school, his competence or job description and how other pedagogical staff treat his work at the school. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the legislative anchoring of the profession of special educator and the whole system of education. The thesis defines the methods and forms of work that are most suitable in the education of pupils with special educational needs. The thesis also provides an insight into the consulting system and its specifics with an emphasis on the functioning of the school consulting centre. The empirical part of the thesis consists of mixed research. It is based on the evaluation of a questionnaire survey, which examines the opinions of teachers on the work of the school consulting centre and above all opinions on the position of a special teacher at the school. The questionnaires were distributed to teachers and teacher assistants and asked what benefits and shortcomings they see in the work of the school special educator and how they think they work with pupils, their parents and other teachers.
