Economic diplomacy of Spain-comparision with Czech republic

This bachelor thesis focuses on the comparison of economic diplomacy in Spain and Czech Republic. This thesis is based on the theoretical definition of the concept of economic diplomacy and proposes solutions on how Czech Republic could learn from the implementation of Spanish economic diplomacy. The aim is to compare these two economic diplomacies and point out the main differences. First part of this thesis is focused on the basic concepts of economic diplomacy, its origin and main contributors. Second part deals with the analysis of Czech economic diplomacy, especially with export and foreign direct investments. Third part characterizes the same indicators in Spain. In conclusion, on the basis of evaluated data, corresponding recommendations and possible changes are proposed.

Employee motivation and employee benefits

The goal of this thesis is to get acquainted with the issue of employee motivation from a theoretical perspective, and then analyze the incentive system in a selected company - Sellier & Bellot. In conclusion, I would like to evaluate the lessons learned and propose some changes and recommendations for improving motivation in the analyzed company. The work is divided into four parts. The first three are rather theoretical. The first part deals with the explanation of the concept of motivation and characterizes its types and sources. The second part focuses on the motivation of negotiation at work, where the author presents the most important motivational theories dealing with the factors that encourage motivation and, on the contrary, the ones that distort motivation. The third chapter deals with the issue of employee benefits, especially their importance and classification. Then in the practical part, the knowledge acquired in the theoretical part is applied. The author tried to analyze the system of motivation in the selected company and conducted her own research through a questionnaire survey among employees of the company.

The personality and social development of a client in a therapeutic community

This diploma work consists of theoretical and empirical parts. The theoretical part deals with drug addiction and describes the options of its treatment with a special regard to psychotherapeutical approach which are commonly used when working with drug addicts. Later on, I summarize current knowledge of a therapeutic community as one of the most effective methods of treatment and social rehabilitation of drug addicts. Therapeutic community is a specific form of group therapy exploiting social learning, democratic decision making and therapeutic potential of the clients themselves. The therapeutical process is aimed at personal and social development of each individual which should lead to a complex change of his/her lifestyle. These goals can be reached by means of various instruments including structured programmes, regime and community activities. The practical part of this work describes the empirical research which examined the clients' perception of their personal and social development in TC as well as the views and opinions of their therapeuts.

Implementation of the educational programme with the aim on the nutrition and the food served in these facilities

The paper deals with the implementation of the health support to ŠVP with the stress on the nourishment and the diet. The research was carried out in the thirty basic schools in the southern Bohemia. The part of the nourishment and its implementation to the education leading towards the heath was searched in the details. The research was even bigger at ten schools because it dealt with the situation in the school dining facilities. The theoretical part of the study describes basic learning about the health and its implementation to the school educational programmes. The target and the goal of this part is the education leading towards the heath. Also concentrates on the nutritious value of the school food. The practical part searches the implementation of the heath education to the school educational programmes with the help of the analysis and the questionnaires. The concentration is dedicated of the part of the nourishment and the health. There is also characterization of ten typical school dining facilities with the concentration on the nourishment.

Model of creating motivational items for use in non?chemical vocational schools

TITLE: Model of creating motivational items for use in non-chemical vocational schools SUMMARY: Presently, there have been significant reforms in the field of education in progress in the Czech Republic. Among others, formerly valid educational standards are being replaced by new standards - Framework Educational Programmes. They have also become effective for secondary schools since 1st September 2009. One of the changes is an addition of science based subjects (thus also chemistry) to all the framework educational programmes for every field of study in vocational schools. Hence, the number of pupils who will be taught science has grown comparing to the previous years. As it was confirmed by an inquiry made for the purposes of this thesis, the above mentioned group of pupils represents the majority among pupils in secondary schools. It was important to analyze the learning environment at non-chemical vocational schools, in order to support as effective utilization of learning units assigned for this schools as possible. The Problem of the Quality of Life and Ageing in People with Mental Disabilities

This diploma thesis deals with the effective prevention of problems that may arise in people with learning difficulties as they grow older. The theoretieal seetion of the thesis explores the concept of "learning difficulty", the development of care for sufferers both in the Czech Republic and throughout the world, the process of ageing as it affects the whole population, and looks at effective and appropriate strategies to address the challenges of ageing. The second seetion deseribes the range of support services available to people with learning difficulties especially the provision of "assisted" employment as a means of delivering a fulfílling life to sufferers. Such "assisted" employment is then compared with the "sheltered workshop" concept. This seetion goes on to explain the terms "institutional care" and "sheltered living" and then to explore the challenges faced by those experiencing learning difficulties when attempting to integrate into society. Brief reference is also made to the new law on sociál services and its potential to revolutionise the care of those experiencing challenges to their health. Design of simple engineering structure

Bachelor’s thesis processes methodology of calculating the deflection according to norm EN 1992-1. First of all it deals with the theory necessary to understand the whole process and explanation of each step. Next learned lessons are applied in the model calculation of deflections, which is performed at 3 beam elements of different construction heights. The resulting values are compared to point out changes in the final deflection according to different dimensions of the structure.

Water regime of plants as a learning topic in inquiry-based education at grammar school

The aim of the diploma thesis was to create educational presentation for grammar school students according to the inquiry-based education principles and used in the classroom for teaching the thematic unit Water regime of plants, its application in teaching process and inclusion of inquiry-based education into plant physiology lessons at grammar school. A comparative survey which included 90 students was carried out in three first grade parallel classes. The level of students´knowledge was compared on a basis of the achievement test some students attended lessons including educational presentation completed with a worksheet, other students attended lessons providing the same topic in a way of frontal teaching and without the presentation. The goal of this research was to find out if inquiry-based education affects the level of acquired knowledge and if it leads to its permanent preservation. The results were statistically evaluated and clearly classified into tables and graphs.

The bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of services provided by the university, often within the organization of career center, which should increase the employability of graduates and to facilitate their transition between university and the labor market. In the theoretical part the thesis deals with explaining the basic concepts of the study area, learning about the situation of graduates in the labor market in the Czech Republic and areas, which should students develop in to meet better the requirements of the labor market. Within the bachelor thesis the research was conducted through a questionnaire survey among graduates of PEF MENDELU. The aim of research was to prove the effectivity of career center on the university and services provided by it.
